1. App does not open Statesman links from other apps (like email or web browser). 2. Unable to search for article titles within app, meaning I cannot find specific articles with any kind of ease. 3. Because of the overall lack of features, it's more like a slightly better organized notepad.

App simply will not open. Deleting and reinstalling does not solve the problem. Same issue on my phone and tablet. I'm a new subscriber. Very disappointing. Especially, after announcing a new Section.

Filled with repeat stories (same story in multiple categories); clicking on news notifications (e.g. breaking news) doesn't link to the story in the app. One has to flick through all of the stories in the app trying to find the story clicked--most times it doesn't appear at all (App content lags notification pushes?)

I paid for a subscription but every time I try to pull up an article it asks me to subscribe. I log in and I can't find the article I was trying to read. I am very tech savvy and never have any issues with other sites--what gives, Idaho Statesman?! Over it.

Not an improvement. The app is difficult to use,gets stuck often, and very frustrating on all but the newest gadgets.

The notifications of recent stories take a long time to open and you have to hunt around in the app to find recent publications.

App functions OK, but what bugged me enough to post this review is an email I received 7/25/2021 indicating I should "Download the new app". Sounds good, I think to myself, and go to Google Play and find that the app was last updated 7 Dec 2020. THAT"S NOT NEW.

Trying to look at the paper , which I paid $129 for and the app doesn't open, but tells me I have to subscribe or login both items I try tell me unavailable or processing.....forever. this app is horrible

A great app and a great publication! I only wish there were three functions included in this app: - Simplified view - Search function - Dark mode

Frustrating App. Its newest trick is that I have to reload every time I turn the page or enlarge to see a graphic.

Downloading it to give 1 star and will do with 4 other devices! That's what you get for putting a paywall on coronavirus health news which isn't cool at all! Lock your news but public health that really low

Difficult to navigate the, updated version is a bad decision. Getting ready to remove app and cancel.

I like being able to access local content, as the print newspaper got prohibitively expensive. The app itself is not good at all.

The print version disappeared and I can't get it back

Very disappointed. I used to read Idaho Statesman all the time. But it seems recently they've become extremely biased, puting out hateful articles about our president worded how I'd expect if I were reading huffington post. Very very disappointed

Good layout and presentation of journalism content. Free access is metered to a defined number of articles per month, and then you will be denied access unless you subscribe. This despite pop-up ads being prominent. Subscriptions are the healthiest way for newspapers to make money, but I would welcome unlimited free access in exchange for viewing more advertising or even watching a video ad upon launching the app. Writers and staff do a good job covering my local news, which is appreciated.
