Update: going to pull my money out in the morning from ideal. They did it again today and phone help is a joke. Cant even pull more than $100 out at hinkley and it was the only time I used my card today! Fraud alert! What a joke!!! Original post: What ideal fails at still is their new app does not appear when typed into the play store. You actually have to Google it. A very frustrating process because even then the first that pops up is this old app. A banking error and i.t. problem that they did not address. Not to mention other issues with the banking practices and policies. Shutting my card off all the time for what "they think" is fraud is costing me money. Very dissapointed overall and close to closing my account! Has nothing to do with setting high or low limits! This is bull. Ideal just shuts down your card if "they think" it's fraud. I'm going to Chicago for instance. I have any problems with my card while there I will not be happy as this happens time and time again.....and costs me money every time. Better watch the pending also. A few charges from Wed, Thurs, Fri that are there o er the weekend and you have to go over your limit it for a purchase and you will get charged $36 each on Monday. Also has cost me tons of money even though my account reflected my charges they take the overdraft fees anyway. Not good banking practice.
Since the update, this app is garbage. Says I need to update it and it won't let me. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it 2 times, and it still doesn't work! Getting real tired of Ideal credit union. Update. Still bot able to use the new app. I went to your link and it brings me right to the old one. So sick of this
The mobile app doesn't work, I've uninstalled and re installed multiple times and still isn't working. I can access my account online but I can't name/ label my accounts and it deleted most my old account names. Very unhappy with the update and ideal.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled the new app several times but the wheel just keeps spinning - it isnt able to fully update - and then sends an error message stating it needs to be updated.
The app was great but now you cant do a single thing. I knew about the update. It's 9/25/2018 and completely broken no login options of any kind mobile or website. Don't fix what was never broken. Looks like I might have to find a new bank.
No more bill pay in the app? That's the #1 feature you should have. Not only is it not there, you removed the feature. If it is still available in the app, I certainly can't find it and is not intuitive to find
I can't download the app although it says it will be installed "soon ". Until I can get and use the app, it's one star. I go to that link and it says the app is installed, but it is not. Nowhere to be found on my phone. I click on the "installed" link in the playstore and it says there are no compatible devices. Is there a link that could be texted to my phone that might work?
Google Ideal Credit union. Look then click Mobile Banking. Then scroll down and select get it on Google play or download on the app store for apple phones. It's easy. Do not go strait to the Android play store that the old app and will not work. Hope this helps.
I re-enrolled and uninstall the app and downloaded again. Now I can't even open it, 'Downloading Update' is all I keeping seeing and and it won't stop!
So irritated! App won't update and I need to deposit my check... your bankers hours don't allow me to physically come there due to my work schedule and now can't even use the app... here I am just waiting to see how many overdrafts I get because I can't put my check in... ugh
I can't even open it any longer it keeps telling me I have to update so I uninstalled it and reinstalled it but it stays on downloading updates it has been doing this all day
Well this new mobile update is just great. App wont even open and no online option to log in Thanks a bunch!
App used to work great. Don't know what the new update was going to improve on but it doesn't work at all now.
Just uninstalled old version to try to update to new version and now that it's download it says I need to update still... frustrating
I loved the app until the new upgrade. Now I can't even get my app to download the updates for me to use the app
It was working fine until a few days ago it says it needs to update but there is no update available? In reply to that I redownload it and it still says it needs to update
Android phones don't work with this app it's going to take weeks to fix
How can you update your online banking and not update the app at the same time? Shows a lack of preparedness by the bank and also poor planning. I am quickly losing faith in this banking institution.

I'm a small business owner who is always working! Having the direct deposit through the phone, being able to transfer money around, and see my balance right away WAS a huge advantage to this app that I loved since the bank changed their hours and made it even more difficult to get there before they close!! Now.....the app dosent work, I cant log in, cant do anything that was very helpful before. I deleted and reinstalled like I was told to do from and employee and the bank, and the app still doesnt work at all. I've been with this bank for over 30 years and I have to be honest that I have not liked the changes the bank has been making in the last 5 years. Very disappointed in the new update. Makes it very hard to work with a convenient bank that doesn't make things very convenient anymore.
