IDEAL U.S. Currency Identifier

The only other app that tells you which side is showing is blind droid wallet.. This is useful if you work in a job that rquires the bills to face a xertain way, like bank teller or cashier. Also, some older vending machines are picky about which side of the bill is facing up.

The developers of this app apparently never asked a totally blind person to use it. It is very difficult to scan a bill if you cannot see the screen of the phone.

This app has been life changing. When I need a dollar bill read, I scan it and within seconds the amount is spoken to me. It's so nice not having to rely on others to read my money. Thanks so much for creating such a helpful tool.

Very useful. I can use this with a customer who is vision impaired or use it as a teaching tool for kids learning their notes.

Its a great app however now it says no longer supports the new version of Android. So please update and thanks so much

after 30 min of not identifying anything it kept saying a one dollar bill was a hundred and nothing more than that.

Wonderful would really help any person with a blindness Braille need heal.

Can only find out US dollars

Having lived with low vision for more than half my life I've always struggled with American money. All the bills are the same color and shape making it very difficult for me to tell the difference between each one. This app works excellent every time reading every type of money I've tried! Thank you so much!

Great application. It works perfectly. it identifies currency very well, no problems at all. The app identifies currency quickly and it also identifies whether the currency is facing forward or backwards. Strongly recommend application.

It needs a bill counter option that can be turned on and off, and a counterfeit detector.

The app refuses to read bills. It reads them at random, and after a lot of attempts. I am using a Galaxy S6 phone, that should not have been a problem. It is not being updated, which might explain the deficiencies. It is not working well and I don't trust it.

Was a good app, now I get an interfering pop up on Android pie.

Easy, simple to use app - even for those with no vision at all. Tells you whether it's capturing the front or back which is helpful all that needs to be added is a "face-up / upside-down" cue...

The silly thing recognized a Weird Al $100 bill as a $100 bill

with this app, the name pretty much says it all. I can attest to the fact that this app is compatible with United States currency, and possibly currencies from other countries as well, although I can't definitively speak to that. just follow the simple instructions provided in the description and when you first set up this app, and you will be able to identify bills to your hearts content.

Just turn on the app and point the camera towards a dollar bill and it just speaks the amount - e.g. 10$ bill back [and it displays what it spoke]. no buttons to push, no UI to understand, it just works. I use it to inspire so called main stream designers about making things work better for everyone, including people with disabilities.

I think that this is a great app, the information that it has is fantastic. The app has excellent info; of currency datimg back, at least 100Yr's, of old currency, and it's estimated worth. I recommend this product.

Absolutely perfect app. Works great even in less than perfect light.
