Worst app and website I've ever payed a lot of money for. It seems all of my banking alerts get duplicated many times in their database, to the point that the app and website are nearly unusable they are so slow. There is no ability to delete or archive alerts in the app, so it won't get any better. It crashes displaying the list. And, archiving from the website is one alert at a time. It's so slow I'll fall behind instead of catching up. Their customer support has not helped at all.
I used to like this service. But I've had an issue with it dropping connections to my accounts (and not allowing me to re-add them) since October. I've emailed support 3 times and called 4, but haven't received a response from a tech specialist. Renewal is coming up, so I'll probably drop it if I can't get my issue addressed before then.
It stopped sending me notifications and updates. App crashes everytime I update any info. Saves my phone number twice. No way to update payment information. Freezes frequently. Questionable how a identity theft company cant make a stable app??
Been a member for a while. This service is a mixed bag. Good amount of features for the money. Compares well against the competition. The cons are: the app is barely functional, glitchy and doesn't allow you to do much beyond reading alerts. Other services like ID Shield and LifeLock have much more useful apps. Also, I've tried emailing Identity Force now on 3 separate occasions and they have not once responded to even basic queries.
Tried to email them 4 times with a problem and they never emailed me back. Cancled my subscription.
I like the app, but once I turned on the VPN it constantly crashes. I can't even open it back up. I sent a message to the email address, I'm waiting to hear back on what to do.
Credit protection, for me has been a good investment. I get a text and email follow-up on each alert. But this app is useless. The fingerprint login doesn't work on Android. Most of the buttons don't work in the app, and if you actually want to do anything, you have to go to the main site anyway. It's annoying enough to switch to another provider.
Running Android 11 and App is still not good. Changed email and Two Factor Authentication no longer works. Called and waiting on a specialist to call back. Piss poor.
I downloaded the app mainly for the VPN. I'll update when I get a real opportunity to see it in action. However, I noticed that info that's rightly hidden on the website displays clear as day on the app. Imo, all sensitive info should be hidden. What if someone looks over my shoulder, sees and jots down something personal like my driver's licence number?
Support contacts don't work. Make a mistake adding a family member and it's almost impossible to start over with the same spouse. They don't explain children's age cut off. Wasn't worth the $75 saved over lifeline. 30 days customer satisfaction only good thing, if I actually get my $250 refund
Back button just closes app. Slow response times on everything in app. So slow that it ended up putting my phone number in twice because it didn't seem to go the first time now it won't delete the duplicate even though when I click to delete it, it said ok. Have fingerprint authentication turned on but only prompts for pin. Identity Force seems ok but the app definitely needs work.
Service is fine, but the app really sucks and gets worse over time. 1) native back button doesn't navigate back, it just closes the app 2) can't delete notifications from reading view, have to navigate back to delete from main list, BUT, for fun they reorder the list so you then delete the wrong one. Hire a QA person please.
Been having to uninstall and reinstall every day have send multiple feedback not going to renew subscription this year. Used to be good not anymore
This app is nice because it does give you all three credit scores. It also sucks because in order to cancel the service you have to call them who then put in an order to have someone call you back with a 24 hours to go through the steps of cancellation. This is garbage.
Clicking on the notification tab crashes the app. Several things send you to the website anyway so what's the point in the app?? Also, I have it set to use my fingerprint for access, but it makes me use my pin every time. So many glitches that the app is barely worth using.
There are so many problems, I don't know where to begin. The design is ancient, alerts aren't handled properly. You can't delete them, and it randomly decides if you have read them or not. It falsely detects that my OS is outdated. It's basically worthless.
Horrible experience with payments. Try changing your credit card for payment and see how long it takes. For a company that monitors all forms of technology, they can't program to take payments. Very strange.
App doesn't work. When you select 'Sign up', it asks you to enter the access code that was provided to you. If you are just 'signing up', how would you already have an access code? Maybe there are more user friendly & updated apps out there. Sadly, this doesn't appear to be one of them.
App does not work on my pixel 5. Seems to freeze when logging in to my online account. Membership does not include any mobile protection against any attacks using my phone number. Would not consider to use this company as they have very limited features. Customer service is very friendly and got through right away but unfortunately I did cancel and going to look into a better identity protection service.
The service is great, but the app is terrible. It keeps closing randomly. I also cannot use my fingerprint to login in. It keeps saying that my password cannot be retrieved and to try again later. But it lets me log in if I type my password in.
I can't login using the app. Login attempt sounds for a while then says "server error" followed by a text message from IdentityForce saying I need to update my app. Verified I was running the latest version and tried uninstall/reinstall. What a waste of time.
Easy to use when it works. 3rd time reinstalled on Note 10+. Tried reboot, clear cache, force stop, no good. No reply from support for reporting crashing. Please fix this. Update: Fourth time I've uninstalled and reinstall. No contact from support. Not looking good.
this app is useless! when I login I always get a server error and cannot connect. This has happened in every update version for over a year. fix you server connection issues and make your app usable!
Terrible app, clearly little to no investment in it. Expedians app is way better.
When ever I tried to log on...it returns a message about server error. Then a message to my phone say I should download an upgraded app version. Then after reinstalling the app the same problem repeats!!!
Don't even update your credit every month. No cancel tab in dashboard. You have to call to cancel and no one picks up. Not a good service at all.
Easy interface to find what you are looking for. Overly obnoxious on an android when you are used to using your back button. It logs you out each time.
App is a pain on my note 20 ultra. Finger print reader function doesn't work and the pin number number is forced on the app but the app does not accept it and forces me to reset the pin every time I log in using password.
Login doesn't work. Why create an app that users can't even login in. I tried at least more than 10 times. It works on Web but not app. Disappointing and a waste of time.
After the latest update the app can't multi task on my pixel 6 pro. If I switch apps identity force closes everytime. So I can't go get a two factor authentication code and come back to the app to enter it because as soon as I switch apps identity force closes. Very frustrating.
