Just bought white plug thing, set it up, everything ok, needed update, went back into app, had to setup all over again. What is this rubbish?

These devices are not the easiest to maintain. For instance I had one switch to offline because of electrical work, and after power up it no longer worked through Alexa. Even after removing it and re-adding it, it just came up as a duplicate device that never worked. I ended up having to contact their support to completely delete all the devices from their end and setting everything back up. It was a pita.....

After spending two hours trying to figure out why their products don't work. I realized that the app just has the worst UX on the planet. My suggestion to the developer would be: on the main screen during setup, add an instant switch button. Even if it cannot configure the device, it will allow you to inform your users that they need to configure their other devices first. I spent all my time trying to set up the instance switch as a regular switch. Saw all the terrible reviews and assumed the worst. On a whim I tried to setup my outdoor switch and went really smoothly, afterwards it let me setup my instant switch. I'm guessing this is why your app rating is so low.

overall a nice platform and good devices. but lacks functionality that many others have. i now wish i would have chosen another brand. for example, you can't schedule lights to come on randomly during a set time period. what good are smart devices that can't help with security? emailing support and the response i get is that many others have asked for the same thing but they have no plans on making that feature. if it had that feature, is give it a 4 or 5. oh wait, and they have no widgets...

Constantly offline and unable to control with both Amazon echo and Google home assistant. Works about 50% of the time with an additional 25% if I tell them to turn on when already on before telling them to shut off. Wish I wouldn't have invested so much in a complete kit (outside switches, inside switches, light controls), too much invested to start over again. They work well with the app, but that's useless because I could then just use a wall switch.

Wish I had figured out that wasn't compatible with my router before I installed the thermostat. Without being able to connect to the app it has basically the same functionality as the old round mercury switch. Sigh

The app gives literally no option to setup for the "I devices I grill mini Bluetooth connected thermometer" The thermometers packaging says to download this app but the picture on the box is a different color and no other app appears. The requirements list you need above Android 4.3 which I have, and give a link to a website which is supposed to help find if your device is compatable but instead leads to a 404 error since they apparently moved it without changing the product. Very dissapointed

requires internet to function. I don't believe that this will ever get the function to pair with just as stupid Amazon echo. Once it went online, Alexa stopped working. All I wanted was it to switch on or off a Christmas tree. Dec 23 I made this review. Lets see if they are actually looking at reviews. I'm in a bad mood and this doesn't help.

I would love the ability to set a max temperature allowed on the thermostat. I want to be able to allow people to change the temperature without them setting crazy high numbers. Notifications of temp changes at the thermostat would also be a nice bonus. Otherwise, I love this thermostat and it is perfect for my bnb.

Would like devices remember connection to your wifi network, if wifi network/router gets turned off and later turned back on. Works on Android & Apple. Use 2.5Ghz on wifi for greater coverage in your home;. Not 5Ghz. Too many ppl complain that it doesn't connect to their network but they are trying to connect to 5Ghz.

Really bad app.. My wall switch does not work with Google home. Linked iDevices to my google home, but whenever I try to use google home, i get an error message, "Oops.. can't connect to the light".. Really frustrating.. I wouldnot have purchased if I had known this issue before. I tried all the troubleshooting steps already. Tried reaching out to support team, but no use.. i feel we made a mustake by going with idevices

Thank you, I will update my review, is working now, the app needs more improvement like option to change the wifi connection, the reset, how to link the product etc. I CANNOT CONNECT THIS WITH MY PHONE! is a nightmare 😫 I been try and try, reset, delete home, now the light flash yellow? Very high cost product and really bad app, I cannot change the wifi in the app!

Not reliable connection. I have outdoor wall plug. Drops connection. Very challenging to clean it up and reset. They told me to use IFTT. Maybe worked well once for about 6 months out 20. One last time, then buying another brand. My indoor Geeni works flawlessly.

Screws up on daylight savings time. Have to wipe out preset programs and reprogram every fall and spring. I've had this program for a few years now. You'd think they would have fixed it by now. But I'm stuck with the program as I've invested in multiple pieces of iDevice's hardware

It was working fine until the most recent update broke the functionality of my dimmer switch. No amount of resetting has been able to get it connected to WiFi and working again.

The app was working fine several months ago when I installed it but now crashes every time i try to open it. My devices do respond to Alexa just can't control them in the app because it isn't opening.

The app is not reliable...disconnects too often. After unistall-restall-reset the switch, all works but I've had to do this many times. Latest update was July, 2020? Now I worry about firmware security.

Total piece of garbage. You cant even sign in without it wanting you to reset the system which doesn't work. Zero option to put in a username or password. Should be ashamed to have such a bad app on the market with the technology today.

Cannot setup up anything! I have iDevices set up on my iOS device and it took less than 5 minutes. Trying to set them up on my Android device has been a 30-minute slog of beating my head against a wall. Every time I start the app Iam prompted to create an account. What a waste of my time.....

I haven't used my multi-probe wireless thermometer on my smoker in a while. Went to use it tonight and found that the app no longer supports it. Too bad they gave up on what got them started. Already ordered a new one from another company.

I bought the thermostat, it was a waste of money. In the garbage now. Doesn't work with android even though it is advertised to be compatible with my phone. In the garbage deleting the app.

Just did latest update App no longer works just crashes everytime App is ok very basic but it works Paired my switches and outlets with no issues Wish they worked with Samsung Smart things All my other devices do Should have done my research first So be warned if you use Smart things do not get Idevices products

The WiFi links fine, but doesn't work with smart assistant like Alexa or Google… even though it resgisters correctly… always says offline when its not

Awful. Couldn't even connect to the app like the instructions in the IGrill Mini's box told me too. Turns out it uses a entirely different app. Thanks for wasting around 45 minutes of my time.

this is how I worked around the pairing issue: first reboot the thermostat by disconnecting and reconnecting, then hold your phone within 1 INCH distance to the thermostat, boom, paired.

Awesome product and support! I had an unexpected error and I contacted the customer service and they solved it in one day, releasing a new app update. Thank you!
