Would love to give this game 5 stars but sadly the memory leak is still persistent. I can only play in bursts as my phone heats up immensely. Otherwise, its an addictive and fun little tapper game with a funny storyline and speech with a challenging and strategic game style. Yeah you can just level up and push further, but depending how you play, you can do much better. If the memory issue gets sorted, 10/10, for now, 9/10.
Silly and tongue-in-cheek. It can be a bit annoying trying to wrangle unrest, but otherwise there's no glaring ads or forced paywall. Gotta say that one of my favorite details is the dialogue bubbles and all the little references dropped.
It's a very well made game, I just absolutely despise the premise all around, I especially hate that you start a war with your innocent neighbors. If you want to play a despot who simply does not see that he is one, or cares that he is one then go for it but this game is not for me. I gave it five stars because for what it is the game is definitely worth the five stars.
A lot of taping...but I love it. I love what the people say, it's very funny. You get to level up the people, and upgrade the factorys (which I like that you can max out them out). For a game based on the whole pixal graphic thing, it's amazingly detailed, that's for sure. The buildings are so cute, ugggh I just love it. I would recommend this to anyone, but it really just matters on the type of things you like personly, for if this is the game for you.
Great game lots of fun I just think that it would be cool if you made another game in continuation where you play as the orc and try to solve issues with king Norman's kingdom diplomatically. Basically just a spin of from the orcs perspective
really clever idea! you really do wind up balancing progress against civil unrest, giving this game a lot more *game* than your average clicker. the dialogue is hilarious, and the game is engaging right up to about the second kingdom when it starts to slow to a crawl, as idles often do. definitely worth sinking some time into.
Pretty good early game, but after 10-15 cycle, it gets boring real fast. The upgrade gets expensive real fast, and you pretty much gets punished the further you go, because the game becomes much slower and alien coin production doesn't go as fast. Might as well just kill yourself every 5 minutes tbh. Also, the general IAP is quite expensive, probably because they listed it as Pound, which makes it much expensive after conversion for non-British consumer. And you could do serious pay2skip with it
I'm really enjoying this game so far. I've played my share of Idle Clicker games but none have intrigued me quite like Idle Empires. I love that you're trying to keep yourself in each reign as long as possible rather than just working towards a certain number then starting over. In app purchases are a bit highly priced so I'll be looking out for future deals
Fun to play, a more interactive clicker than most. Keep your people from revolting as long as you can to warn points for permanent upgrades. light enougg to work wwll on cheaper end phones as well. All in all, one of the funest clicker tycoon games I've played, and I have played a lot of them.
I enjoy the game and have been playing for about a week, but starting today whenever i watch an ad for a bonus or something the ad plays, but won't close. I have to restart the ap to close the ad, and then I don't get the thing that I sat through the bloody ad for! Infuriating.
Its a very fun and funny little game, the story and the dialog between the characters really drew me into it and it had a very cute art style that makes me think of old sonic games. If your looking for a unique game that gives you a laugh, i highly recommend idle empires
Game is interesting and humorous. Aspect ratio for 18.7:9 needs to be tweaked as the left and right arrows for navigation aren't recognizable. Switching between apps also causes the screen to just be black sometimes
Very interesting take on idle/incremental games. These are my fav type of casual games but so many get boring after the initial play through or two. I especially enjoy how well-integrated the ads are. Use them for a little boost or ignore them altogether. I've played both ways and it was still enjoyable without them.
An ok game. unlike the other games I have played from this dev it is not very good for long term play. The villagers get upset and revolt very quick if your not careful and what worsens the situation is whenever you upgrade an building (which you are forced to upgrade fully before being allowed to continue to the next building) it only quickens the anger level. What made me uninstall in the end is you won't get very far without paying money. This to me is clearly more of a pay to win game. You would be better off playing their other game Idle Apocalypse.
Great game that gives you plenty to do without having to spend any money!! There are many different facets of the game which can keep you entertained for a while, and it gives you the opportunity to restart and use what you've learned to perfect your growth. Well done!
Not sure yet what to think. Havnt had to fully restart yet. Been playing about 2 days now. Seems like a good game to visit a couple times a day. Can stay on playing or can just collect and move on to another game.
5 stars for the game itself minus 1 for making it pretty much a requirement to buy the ad free experience. Though I do say personally I like these devs and what they are making so was happy personally to support them.
I came back after a while to replay the game and I upgraded wind manipulation to decrease unrest .5 per second and it doesn't do anything and unrest still increases way to fast Unrest should only increase when you're at above 50% instead of constantly increasing 2 per second even when you're at 10 unrest making bribes quickly redundant
If the button next to the upgrade button would actually change the amount of levels the workers leveled up, I would give five stars. Otherwise keep up the good work.
Love it. Super fun, the art is charming, the story and humor are cute and clever, the unrest mechanic is fantastic and unique in the idle clicker genre.
Immediately you get stuck on a roadblock on not having enough money. The concept on balancing income vs outrage is an interesting one but poorly executed when the costs ramp up more quickly than you can pay for them. I've played for half a day and i have 4 buildings, not strong enough mercenaries to beat the knight without causing a revolt or not enough money to offset the outrage cost required to fling mercenaries at the knight, so I'm at a standstill.
I love this game, and the company. I don't think they'd had a game that I haven't enjoyed. Whether it's long term, or short term it's worth playing. I also found that the company isn't greedy, you can pay for stuff -but- you also don't really need to pay for anything and since it's essentally single player you won't have to worry about not going far in the game.
Another awesome game from these guys. Entertaining, and no need to spend money at all! These guys make the best idle games.
10/10 I absolutely love this game and to be fair all of Grumpy Rhino games...long story short I've never been into idle games I'm more of a MMORPG lover, but when I found Idle Apocalypse I then met idle empires and the other games. I have them all and I enjoy playing them especially on road trips. Grumpy Rhino studios will be my only favorite studio that makes idle games 💜
As of all grumpy rhino games thus is unique , has that awesome indie feel and let's you have long time progression goals along with short time. Out of the 4 grumpy rhino games I now play this is the second best right after idle apocalypse.
I love this game so much, please update! I found were you earn the power crystals it's in the Gold League as a reward (yay!) This is the best game! 😍 It gets re-downloaded with each phone.
I can't stand the Unrest mechanic. When I play an idle game, I want to be able to "prestige" when I want to, not when the game decides it's time. Uninstalling. 👎🏻👎🏻
fun clicker game with refreshing originality! gives you the choice to watch ads for rewards instead of shoving them in your face involuntarily.
After a few months it feels too repetitive with no reward. Ads are very reasonable, it's not difficult to accumulate resources either.
Great game, but just some feedback in terms of the fast travel. Needs a little tweaking, if we select the option to travel to which city, the bottom part needs to work in conjunction with it. As it is, I have to scroll through the entire bottom section and the top section doesn't do anything. That, or have key locations that still have upgrades and skip spots that either are maxed out or don't have upgrades available. Idle Apocalypse worked really well for fast travel, think of that.
