Idle Sword 2: Incremental Dungeon Crawling RPG

Ads are a pretty large part of the game due to the Boost system that allows you to select from a small variety of powerful items, there is an ad removal purchase for 7.99 USD but it doesn't work, I purchased it three days ago and have since watched about three hours of ads. Excluding the ads and the broken MTX the game is a fun time-waster, you feel like you're progressing constantly and the characters in the game are well designed. Update 11-2021: Same boat, the ad removal is still not working

This is a very greedy take on Idle Sword 2, the once great desktop game. If you've ever played the original from years ago, there is hardly anything changed or new. Scarce game settings, no low power mode, very basic. Forced ads, optional ads and paywalls everywhere. Three new levels you can unlock for $7 each, otherwise you're stuck with the same basic levels that have been there for years. Pay for powers and pay even more. This looks like a lazy attempt at a nostalgic cash grab.

i absolutely love this game. it's extremely addicting. this is the kind of idle game we've been looking for. it could even have it's own category. the only thing you tap-to-upgrade is your god hand. at times it's super involving, you can let it run overnight to gather supplies (and let you're moto overheat😂)and if your lucky an ad won't pop up, the ads are rare it's awsome. who knew a game so simple can be so complex! simple graphics, little to no animations. i want to mention more but limits.

The game is super fun, but I have to give it a 1 star until my issue is resolved. I bought the god package that includes removing ads, yet not once have I avoided ads. I keep getting them! Please resolve this and I will update accordingly. I don't like spending $15 on things that don't work and it definitely makes me less inclined to spend more in the future.

Would love to give this app a higher rating, but since I picked it back up recently, it's gone a lot harder than it used to be into in-app purchases, and the boosts you used to be able to get with an ad watch no longer work (though you can pay money get these same boosts). Aside from that, it's a fun little afk dungeon crawler, and passes the time

This has great potential to be a great procedural dungeon crawler. Please add more heroes and equipment, plus levels. It is one of the most fun dungeon crawlers I've played so far and would really like to see the next content and gameplay evolution.

Forced to change my rateing from 5 to 1 star. the game upto about ascension 8 is pretty fun. after that levels take so many floors to complete that it gets harder and harder to progress. im not dieing to levels being too hard, im not dieing at all... the issue is high level invaders va your high level character end up in a buged state where you constantly die and heal for full hp and it wont stop till you restart the dungeon. This gamebreaking bug has been around far too long, fix your damn game

Well thought out gamrplay, addictive, could use better gear, option to zoom in and out, font and text can be very small to see, worth downloading, definetly a good adventure and progress, add an update for bag space make a bag slot for just items, because they eventually take up alot of space in invetory that allows you to pick up less gear, but worth the time and effort to play for a free game, kudos to the developers for a decent rpg game.

prettygood minus a drawback, when using the 100 gem monster capture box, upon a failed capture, game freezes, causing a restart. losing all items and progress up until that point. if it werent for that, i would have rated 5 star. apart from that. for what it is, its a great game

This is a fantastic idle game with in-depth mechanics and strategy. Ive been playing this for more than a year at this point, and the game still manages to bring excitement and challenge. Incremental scaling is well balanced and keeps the game interesting even after ascension level 10.

love this game but i cant deal with the constant crashing this game is an easy four stars the game is good, really good. the mechanics are awsome the way it plays and looks is incredible this developer sure made an addictive idle dungeon game that does what others fail to do. play the game and see what i mean, if you can bypass the constant crashing you will stay a fan. havent played idle swords before but i am curious now about the first game. love it, fix the bug and 5 stars goes up.

An idle game with some actual depth and thought to it. I love the game, but the sheer number of microtransactions, and their price, disappoint me. Also, viewing an ad wont pause the game, but it will prevent you from tapping to use your god powers. An frusterating end to my first run.

Great game. I can spend several hours building up my equipment to completely destroy my enemies. I will however say that they do keep certain dungeons from non-paying players.(me) I would very much like them to make the other dungeons unlockable by non-paying players as well just with very hard to reach goals of some sort.

This is a 4- or 5-star game with some minor control issues and a seriously annoying habit of throwing unskippable 20-30 second ads at you. There are already IAP and optional ads here, which I consider entirely reasonable, but these interstitials are really poor form. You're already giving us the option to watch ads for bonuses, which I think a lot of us do, and locking content behind IAP; have the decency to drop the mandatory irritation.

My review was deleted for feedback? Lol. 2 things. Master chests should be soul bound. I fell asleep with my game on and they ascended without me asking and I lost all my ad rewarded chests, so that's not okay. Maybe the bigger issue is that they even DO that. And please update the beast menu to a drag and drop like the party screen. Tapping should never equip and unequip. It takes so many taps to check through the beasts to pick the team I want. Maybe add a sort festure by damage/ rarity/ dps.

Its a good game although the fact that they take away your hard-earned equipment on ascension makes me not want to play it. How about, I'm allowed to keep my old equipment until such time I'm able to find new and better equipment. And the items in the store start off costing way too many gems. So, make it where common enemies also drop gems.

If an invader comes in on 1 of ur dungeon runs they r usually way OP and will kill u every time they appear. To get the best dps u have to tap constantly and they send enemies that take like 5 minutes of straight monotonous tapping. A single enemy. The levels make no sense. A lvl 185 team should make short work of anything that is lvl 5 and like every enemy is level 5. The camera can't seem to decide who to follow and u can't move it urself and it will separate ur squad repeatedly. OK at best.

Great game, bug has game-breaking bug. Will change to 5 stars once the bug is fixed. The issue is that the in-game ads won't play or let you back to the game. You have to force close the app and reload it. Very annoying.

Need to fix the ad banner showing non stop. I've clicked it, updated the app, closed and re opened, even restarted phone and every time I log in, there is an ad that won't play if I choose a free buff. It's why I stopped playing.

this game is fun, its kinda bored at the first because the tutorial is not complete, and the some fiture comes later. sometimes the gem indicator disappear, and can become minus. monster box is kinda expensive, you should buy it with gems. but fortunately you can farm gems. the challenge mode also fun, with amazing rewards.

It is decently fun but all ads that give you rewards (double offline, boxes etc) do not work yet the game randomly gives ads that do so you can not get rewarded for watching ads but you do get penilized for playing by forcing you to watch an ad with no reward. On top of this, many reviews mention this fact and its still not fixed. I wish I could give 0 stars.

Super fun game and a great time waster. Only gripe I have about it is that it gets repetitive pretty quickly. New areas and levels with new loot for each one would be a great addition. I really hope the developers continue to work on this game because it is a gem.

The game was disappointing at first I thought I was looking at the best tabletop dungeon crawler digital board game and then when I read the description and noticed I don't have to really even be present it plays all by it was self I wanna play the game and fall my self-worth and easy system in my opinion it was not for me

Too many ads and the game is very hands off unless you're switching gear. It's just after every other dungeon dive you get an ad and jesus christ it only takes 1 and a half minutes per run so you get an unskippable ad that's 30 to 40 seconds long.

The controls are a bit awkward at times, because of pop ups. And sometimes equipping your characters takes a few tries, but it's still a good game and a nice take on idle games.

It says explore but there is no manual control of the party to that end, it's automated which is not what I expect when I read the description explore. Might wanna go read a dictionary dude/girl, that aside it is somewhat fun

I really really appreciate the inventory pause feature and I was wondering if you could implement a daily dungeon that works similarly to the weekly dungeon, but has a set rotation of items per day. That way, maintaining it wouldn't be too big of a hassle.
