Great but could be improved a little bit. The font is skinny making it hard to tell the order of magnitude sometimes, and I wish there were upgraded versions of all the animals, as it feels like it is incomplete. 3 forms of each would be awesome and keep people playing longer. Music is awesome!!! I hum it to myself all the time and wish I had it in my MP3 Playlist! Also, I wish you could sell animals for gems and add 1 or two more biomes to the zoo. GREAT GAME!!!
I'm really enjoying this game. BUT I just upgraded my petting zoo to level 2, and the game keeps spamming me with a notification to choose a new animal for the petting zoo. I'll choose one, and the same pop-up appears less than 5 seconds later. So that's annoying... Game devs, is this some kind of glitch? Maybe you could look into it? I'd be extremely grateful <3
The game is fun, it's nice to go through and do everything in one go and then let it run on idle. But there's a small glitch I've been running into where it won't save my progress when I buy things and it'll take thr money my zoo made but not save the things I bought to bring in more customers and revenue which is aggravating. Other than that it's a fun game.
Well designed, fun to idle with. Ads are not in your face all the time and are well integrated into the game play, plus you can pay to remove them but still reap the benefits from the actions. A micro transaction game I can actually play without getting annoyed by ads is hard to come by. The long term playability is great.
Excellent little time-passer! The only thing I feel is missing is a status table of sorts for the species that allows you to see purchased new species & badges on the same page (would make the next rare, etc easier to select i.m.o.) The game plays well, but the selection of next species gained seems a little random in that real-world rarity seems to play no part in anything. But, it is a game, not a zoology lesson. Overall; a great game, and worth a purchse or two.
I will update my review if this bug can be fixed - I've upgraded my zoo several times but after a little bit, the upgrade animals I spent gems on no longer have the upgraded skin and seems like their boosts are gone. For example, the beetle looks like the original beetle and the 2.5x mating speed doesnt seem to be working. When I click on the beetle, it shows that I'm using the forest beetle but the menu shows the normal one still. It doesnt work like it use to. I can provide screenshots of what I mean, its sorta hard to explain.
Used to play this years ago and reinstalled today - almost completely unplayable. Screen constantly freezing or when you need to choose options (for example, entertainer costumes) repeatedly flashing up same question. It's a shame because I don't remember any of these bugs first time round. Maybe it's just not maintained any more?
everything in thia game takes ages to complete. When you reset/sell your zoo there is no reset bonus to help you progress faster. The biggest sin is the problem with the math. In the upgrades youre able to, for example, increase zoo visitors by 40 percent. 40% of 34,000 is not 1,000. The math in this game is wrong all across the board. At least the music is nice.
Definitely worth the download, unlike a lot of free idle games it doesn't shove ads down your throat and if you are shown one you get a decent reward and possibly a statue part that also upgrades. The main breeding aspect is also refreshing and there's a passive cash system that helps buying new critters. The creatures keep getting cuter so if you like moving pixel animals you'll enjoy the game.
I had a great time playing this game. I enjoyed working on the challenges, the permanent rewards are the best way to progress in the game. The rare animals added a bit of flavour the game, but it doesn't take long until you get them all. So, I figured I'd pay to remove ads, mainly because I thought the developers earned it. While there were new things to discover, it was truly captivating. I'm still hoping for more updates, one day. They haven't added anything new in months.
Cash shop is hilariously overpriced and the graphics need work. Also not enough updates. Have to watch ads if you want to progress at a reasonable pace. Game loop is satisfying enough. Some good ideas like shrines and challenges thrown in there. But really the rewards for the challenge are really bad later in the game. Also please make the robot monkey stop with the same dialog every time you buy him again. Sooo annoying.
While I like the game there are some problems with it. The term 'tap' is misleading, since you can't just tap things for money. The ads aren't giving me the breeding bonus, money or gems even though I watch them to completion. To be fair, it is a fairly good free game, but with the ad bonuses not working it's incredibly slow to progress anything forwards.
Good Game, the graphics are not over done. The music can be relaxing from what I have heard so far. The Tutorial is a good placement. I like the character used in the tutorial. I see room for improvement. Still for a mini Zoo like Idle game not bad.
Really cute and pretty fun game, I really liked playing it but when I switched phones I lost all of my progress and there is no way of mr getting it back. So now I feel like there is no point in me even trying to play it again. If a way to save your progress was implemented I would definitely start playing again.
I do like this game. has some goofy bugs in it. played few months now I think it's cool stuff. just did a hard reset see how much faster I can do it. ads not annoying.. one of annoying things. watch ad for gems.. get useless cash. doesn't always happen. hope part 2 comes out.. dig this game.
Super cute and fun, always love these type of clicker games. There's probably some optimization strategy but the fact that you can succeed by just winging it is really what I like. The challenges are fun, too, and give you extra bonuses that really are needed the more zoos you sell. Love it!
I was super addicted to this game for the longest time! Now it just seems like the same thing over and over. You have to keep selling your zoo and start over to get upgrades. After selling my zoo 10 times... it gets old. It's the same old thing every time. I'm getting really board with this app now. Still a great game though! It had my attention for months!
Great game. I really enjoy buying and selling the animals. I went very far in the game, i.e. i had only 2 more mystery achievments to collect and wah lah. Poor me, I was enjoying the game until my phone crashed suddenly, taking all my progress along with it. Now I have another device and I have to start all over again. 🤨
I love this game and I keep coming back to it. I am sad that my save file seems to be gone. I had a lot of upgraded animals and rares as well. Oh well, the music alone gives my nostalgia so I'm willing to start over from scratch.
Premium content spam isnt as bad as their other game, but the 25 ad/day limit is still annoying. Overall it's not a bad game for the genre. It's a fun little time waster that doesn't need internet to run (with the exception of ads).
TironiumTech's Idle Tap Zoo and their other game Idle Planet Miner are the most engaging and elegantly designed examples of incremental gaming I have played, (and I've tried many.) Simple enough to blast through a few minutes, but nuanced enough to benefit from some optimization planning. It's a chocolate-meets-peanut butter perfect storm of good design. I look forward to whatever else this developer has in store! Now back to the zoo (and planets)
I used to LOVE this game.I have a few complaints. Whenever you get the pets it takes them sooo long to duplicate. If the owner is reading this I suggest you make the game go a bit faster. Also whenever im the game it always glitches so I have to keep re downloading it and I don't like doing that because then all my progress is lost. Please fix the glitches and how slow it is. Thank you ! Sorry if it's offensive.......😔😔😔
Great game. The game itself isn't to click frenzy. it's got a nice scale to it, that rewards short term players as well as long term players. The only reason it gets a 4 star and not a 5 is that the idle time is just a measly 2 hours. I feel there should, be Atleast a way to uprade/buy it through normal currency, video ads/premium credits. I hope they add something soon.
Good game. Been playing for years now. Only issue is that your ad bonuses only give it to me half the time. The other half it'll either give me nothing or the cash will change to gems once I finish the ad. Not very nice.
I like the game but am slightly aggravated by it. When messages randomly pop up here and there that explain things about the game or what you are about to experience, they go away before they can even be read. My son, who is a slow reader, has no hope of reading those messages unless I'm sitting right beside him the whole time. There is no way (that I know of) to get back to those messages. There really needs to be an "Ok" button at the bottom of the message box to click after you have read it.
Idle tap zoo is a resource management game. The goal being to make a bigger and better zoo, getting new species or zoo attractions. They have kept the graphics simple but cute, interacting with lists mostly. The game also has a lot of potential play time as selling your zoo is part of the mechanics.
Its been a fun few years playing this little Idle game, but its time to move on. I love this little game. It gave me something to do but I've achieved almost everything and I think its time to make space for other games. Good graphics, fun little surprises, and overall plenty to do.
More ads than game play. I am still playing this, but it's limited, doesn't really have a pull, it's kind of just tapping the screen on different numbers and watching a clock timer increase the figures in a ratio led life waster. If you're lucky, you get a gift with a 30 second ad for the 12 second of game play. It's just a simple, ad rammed game Honestly I've just reviewed my way out of playing now that I have put it in writing.
Great game! It's got unique mechanics, adorable graphics, and just the right difficulty. The ads are few and far in-between and only for getting rewards. I bought ad free and will play until I beat this game! I never review games, but this one really deserves it!
