Not bad, I found a few chat partners, but the matches were very weird. I am down to learn French and Russian and got matched with a fellow English speaker trying to learn Italian! Can't find anyone at all learning or offering Norwegian. 3 languages is quite limiting too.
among all these languege learning apps, this one requires to have access to your phones location which seems useless and bothers me a lot & that's why I uninstalled this app as soon as I got it installed because you aint even be able to get started with this app if you don't let it use your location so far!! Bye Bye idyoma
This application needs a major modification.First I am a person who speaks Arabic and I want to learn English.. The results of the search must appear to me from people who speak English and want to learn Arabic ... .. not Arabs ...Secondly There should be a feature to filter people like country or age Third There must be more than 5 attempts to chat. There are other free apps
Like this new app, i messaged like 30 people and got answers from 15 and speaking continuously to 10... which is pretty good considering other apps like this! Cool to meet people from around the world!
I put that I'm learning Spanish yet all the people it shows me cannot speak Spanish and/or don't want to learn English and I can't manually search for people who speak the language I want to learn. I just have to keep swiping until find someone? How is that helping me?
Can only message 5 people per month! and hardly any users on here. Has no search feature and have to swipe
It crashes several times and it only allows you to chat to 5 ppl each month... I mean c'mon!
Stupid app. It just shows you 4 Tinder-style cards of 4 people of the same sex as you and asks whether you want to chat with them. Deleted
They don't seem to have Dutch included in the list of the languages, can you please add it?
App is too good. But you can only talk to 5 people in 1 month. They this app said to paid money otherwise you can't talk to other people.
Before I've started I had to pay. I didn't find anyone I could learn with.
Hello this is horrible app I will uninstall this app good bye for ever
Couldn't add that I live in Ukraine, no Ukraine in the list.
Excelent Application...I love it.
It's get me out suddenly, please fix it
Nice for chating with natives
no one answer to chat
Stupid App
This app is amazing! It is a newer app, however it is a step above its competition in that it allows you in interact in real time with others who can help you practice and learn languages. Plus, there is a whole community based close to me in Boston, Ma so I have the opportunity to meet up with people and practice face to face. I love how I'm connected locally. This app is unlike any other and I'm so glad I found it!
I've tried other language apps but none came close to this. It's easy to use and the fact that it helps you connect to others makes it better. I found my practice buddy and I am progressing very quickly. In no time I'll be a conversational level Spanish speaker. Highly recommended
Idyoma really helped me in getting out of my comfort zone. I was always so shy and hesitant to learn and practice other languages. But with the help of this this app, I got a chance to interact with other users. I don’t feel like I am being surrounded by unknown people who only criticize when we speak new languages. This app is such an inspiration for all newbies. We can easily connect with verified users and not fake ones as Idyoma has this feature which displays badge on profiles of verified user. This has seriously restored my confidence speaking publicly. Thank you!!
Perfect app to improve your language by practicing with native speakers.this amazing app automatically connects you to the people near you.i was literally chatting and practicing my language skills with so many people in my first half an hour and one more thing that i loved about the idyoma is that you can practice 3 different languages at a time unlike the other app where you have to choose only one language.great app in my google store
Great application. Love being able to connect in real time to people learning the language. There is no application quite like this one! It is so convenient and easy to use.
Best language exchange app I’ve ever used!! There are ton of options to use on this app and my favorite one is the sharing content. Idyoma gives its users a chance to connect with other uses on the basis of shared interest. So far, I am loving it and can’t wait to be an expert in Arabic language. Thank You Idyoma!!
Great app for language learners to connect with one another. I recommend it for all those who wish to meet others nearby. I think this app could be huge!
Great app. I've been using it often. The interface is also extremely easy to navigate. Enjoying it very much. Two thumbs up!
Interactive app, sent a few messages to people who were natives in the languages I hoped to practice. I think only one didn't respond, everyone else was friendly and pretty eager to help me. Also the translation function in the message screen was really handy!
really helped me with Spanish - apps like DuoLingo dont provide this kind of quality immersion with the language, but its crucial, maybe even more important that you get to actually speak and have conversations in real time. best way to learn
Great way to meet new people and practice languages in this global world
When you click a notification, it opens to the home page (not the chat window); When you open a chat, it starts at the beginning of the conversation and THEN scrolls to the bottom. For long conversations, this is super annoying; There's no native support for emojis (ala WhatsApp); There no support for media; Every time you want to find a chat partner, you have to wade through all the people you previously dismissed; There's no filters when you want to find a chat partner (except by region which makes NO sense at all); Many users don't properly set their known languages by 'want to learn' language, which is a UI/UX problem w/ the app. If I want to learn Spanish, the list of potential chat partners should be sorted by the language I want to learn (geography filter is not relevant for this app)
