Easy to use
We love the curriculum! The app makes using it on the go so easy. You don't have to worry about forgetting anything. All the forms, patterns, lists, everything is with you.

This app tool is very helpful it would I'm guessing be helpful with school essays. There is just one thing wrong with it. When you are given suggestions on words with ly and est and so on it does make sense and do really have no ise for this so I must uninstall it.
I've never tried this yet but it looks good and rated well.
Simple and useful!
I am intrigued by the innovation and potential that this application implies. But the actual content is very base. I could memorize all the information it contains within a single sitting. This application, in its current form, could possibly benefit many beginner writers, but experienced writers will be uninstalling after a few minutes, just like I did. However, I pan on revisiting this app in the distant future, to discover whether or not its developers have added enough content to make it useful to me.
This my friends is a good educational app. As an high school student I admire this app.
Unfortunately I'll never know if it's fixed. I'm uninstalling. I understand phone users tend to live in portrait...but who wants to write on a phone....
This app is meant to be used with the Excellence in Writing curriculum. This is an excellent resource for students using this curriculum. The app is like having the Portable Wall accessible anywhere you have your smartphone or other device. I only wish it had MORE of everything! More -ly words, more quality adjectives, More lists, etc! Overall, this is a great beginner app and is a fun change from pulling out the Student Resource Book every time. Thanks, IEW, for a great FREE product!

I only recently started looking through what this app has to offer, and already I've found heaps of useful information. If you're looking for ways to improve your writing, don't hesitate to give IEW Writing Tools a try.
I can see that this app is going to be wonderful to have right at hand as we write. We have needed our portable wall or binder at hand in the past but this will enable us to have these tools handy wherever we are writing.

WHY should I want to write in PORTRAIT mode only on my Transformer Prime? The software forces this meaning I cannot use the keyboard. Past this I do not care, so it's now in the bin.
For all IEW students and teachers, this is an exemplary app for an even greater writing curriculum.
