iFax - Send Fax from Phone

Do NOT buy this service!!!! It is practically impossible to cancel your subscription. I contacted them months ago because I wasn't having sucess cancelling my subscription when I no longer needed it. I never received a response and they continued to bill me monthly. You have to go to their FAQ page to find out how to cancel, but when you follow the steps, it still doesn't cancel your subscription. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Beware. I was charged $181 the day after I cancelled the free trial. I contacted Google play and the developer but they both refused a refund. If you try this app under a free trial and you cancel before the trial is over they WILL charge you for it anyway. No matter what prices they show on the app, you will be charged whatever amount they want to charge you. I did NOT agree to or authorize a charge amount at all but I was still charged $181. I WILL be contacting my bank for a reversal.

Straight scam, tried to cancel 3 days in a row. Continues to refer you to support via their website or app. Submit request for cancel 3 days in a row and screenshot. Not canceled and billed full price at end of trial. Says they have a no refund policy on Google. Do not get free trial unless you 100% know you are going to purchase. There is no way to cancel.

Do not use! Stay away from downloading anything at all. I tried using the first day, it didnt work, several times, even though I kept getting an email saying fax was successful. I tried canceling, it kept freezing. They charged after 6 days, and was deceiving because on the 7th day I was unable to cancel through Google. In addition, they charge $99 on top of it all, and this is mentioned nowhere. I have requested the money back, I have yet to receive it. I contacted the credit card company.

Had some problems where I unsubscribed before the free 7 day trial ended, but still got charged for the subscription. I have since been refunded after contacting support so Im updating my review. As for the app itself, there's not much to say. It does what it says it does and their UI design is really really clean. Only complaint I have is that the unsub button is not so obvious. Even after you find & click it, it doesnt redirect to a confirmation page on desktop or send confirmation email.

This app wouldn't attach PDF or MS Word files to the fax. I tried the free trial, but ultimately tried paying for the full app and it still didn't work. It successfully sent the cover letter a few times though! I messaged the company about the attachments, but never heard back from them and there is no telephone number to call. I cancelled the subscription through the app and uninstalled it. Today was charged $17.99 and after researching, found that I had to cancel through Google Play as well...

The interface seemed fairly bare in terms of what your options were. I was surprised by this as I chose to go with the pro trial... whopping $170. I needed to send a fax but was simply unable to add anything other than that initial page, the cover page, which also surprised me with the trial option selected. Maybe 5 templates to pick from. So I'm going to my local library tomorrow and fax from there. Fax is so outdated, i mean why can't i simply email them a .pdf of what is needed ya know lol.

I'm very disappointed bc I paid for a monthly subscription but didn't get to use it like I needed to. I was able to send some faxes during the free trial but I didn't get the full week before I subscribed for a paid membership. I had to manually select a monthly sub for $27.99. Or else, the app will charge $169+ annually. I emailed support back and forth with some nice staff but my fax number wasn't recovered and I didn't want a new one! Now I'm inconvenienced to go visit the public library!

Gosh I actually pay for my subscriptions $169 per year billed next week Wow They way they worded their 2nd agreement that popped up, I would not like to participate in the free trial at all and said no then canceled the subscription to the Free Trial WITH OUT EVER SENDING 1 FAX So stay away, don't trust, don't download, don't subscribe.

This app is a lie from the gates of hell they get you to subscribe and you can't do anything with it unless you up your subscription to an annual plan do not subscribe to this plan unless you have lots of money to spend

I too believe it's all a scam. I purchased a $180 subscription thinking I had a trail period of a month to decide if I liked it, then could cancel anytime. I would have never agreed to any other terms. Struggled with the app for hours, but NEVER got it to work. Tried to cancel that night, but....no! Not possible. Tried to cancel multiple times, and their website "is terribly sorry, but cannot process my request. Plesse try again later", they say. Nothing less than criminal.

It is a scam. They literally make it impossible for you to cancel your subscription. There is no way to do it from the app on Android. And if you go to the website I faxed at. Com you cannot login because keeps pretending to send a verification code to your phone but it never sends. It just stays on the same page over and over. You cannot login and Stancil and you cannot contact support

DO NOT GET THIS APP! It does not work and it will steal your money. I canceled the free trial immediately after finding out it is not useful. I was unable to cancel through the app because it would freeze everytime I tried so I did it through email. This request was acknowledged but I was still charged $181 after 6 days. I have reached out 3 times since in efforts to get this resolved and have yet to receive a reply

App was simple to use and self explanatory. I love the 7 day free trial, but not so excited about having to remember to cancel the service after 7 days. I need to fax a document maybe 2 or 3 times a year, the subscription is a little steep for the convenience. I wish there was a truly free fax service available.

Terrible app! Bait and switch. You can't activate on a monthly plan - the developer set it up so you can only sign up for an annual plan for $169. Entirely criminal and ridiculous. I would've been happy to pay for a monthly plan, had that EVER been an option.

Do not use this! Their cancellation process is a scam and I ended up getting charged $99.99 and have been fighting with them for a refund and they are refusing. I signed up for the 7 day free trial. I sent a fax and cancelled immediately after (the same day). They do not have a phone number and you cannot cancel in the app. You have to email them. I got an email that said my request had been solved. I assumed that ment I was it was cancelled...

This app is a scam!! I signed up for the monthly subscription about 2 weeks ago and I was charged for the annual subscription right away! That's $199. I canceled this subscription right away...they state that if you cancel within 24hrs you will get a refund...I have not received anything. They wont answer their emails and there is no phone number to contact them on. Yesterday they tried charging my card again for the same amount! $199! Thankfully, I had no money in that card.

I signed up for the 7 day free trial. I immediately cancelled within 24 hours, got a confirmation, etc., etc. I just got a new phone and thankfully learned that they have billed me a whopping $180. Unbelievable and definitely not compliant with Massachusetts regulations regarding subscription services and free trials.

This app only works during your 7 day trial. I had no issues & sending/receiving faxes were easy. Once I paid $169.99 everything has been a nightmare. My fax # was suspended for non-payment? But, yet my checking account was debited $169.99 for this service. I have tried multiple times to get this resolved w/iFax support with no response. Last night I finally get an email that states to request a refund from Google Play. I didn't want a refund, I wanted the issue resolved. But, refund it may be.

I don't know how this app got such high ratings. It says free and had decent ratings, somewhere around 4.5 I think. I try to use it and it keeps trying to get me to subscribe for 25 per month. Then it looks like it's going to let me send, so I prepare the cover letter and add the attachments and when I tried to send it will not let me without subscribing. No thank you. I know you need to make money by there should be other options like watching ads or a pretty page or per Fax cost or something ☹

I installed iFax trough web and started the 1 week free subscription. The problem is that you can't cancel after that, I've tried to cancel for 2 weeks through the website and app and none of the links work. The support doesn't answer my emails. I was also overcharged: instead of charging me the monthly fee, they charged me the annual. Its so dishonest that I can't recommend this app for anyone. Please stay away of it!

Do not download! Like others, I signed up for the one week free trial. I cancelled the next day. I was still charged $100! Pretty sure the customer service email is just a bot. They've repeatedly closed my ticket with them while refusing to answer any questions. Absolute scam of a company; DO NOT USE.

iFax 1-week free trial is a scam. You can't unsubscribe. Their info says you must unsubscribe 24-hours before the "free subscription" ends. I followed directions to unsubscribe the day after I entered free and got a pop-up saying I must "manualy unsubscribe". Instructions are not clear how to "manually unsubscribe". I emailed the company to unsubscribe. I got another notification to "manually unsubscribe". iFax attempted to bill me 3 times, but I took steps to prevent their access to my account.

Thieves! Trash! I used it for 1 fax the 1st day and didn't like it. They charged me $103 up front for a year subscription. On Day 7. When I emailed on Day 8, they said contact Google. When I contacted Google they said contact the app. Shame on you Google! Im talking to my credit card about this. How is it that I pay $100 for zero service?!?!? Modern thievery!!! Shame on you iFax. Update: They issued a refund immediately after this review and email I sent again to them. Refund takes 5-10 days.

Pretty happy so far....once I got the hang of it, it's super helpful. It doesn't seem to be able to retrieve docs directly from my email, but I managed to transfer them well enough. Maybe, I'll fiddle around & figure that out Thank heavens for the FAX receipts: very detailed when documentation is required! 👍 Lotsa little details that make this app quite useful...a pop up to send a notification to one's recipient while waiting for FAX to transfer. Well done! Thank you!

Used this to send one fax. Then was charged $25 for a months subscription without warning. Then when I tried to unsubscribe, went through multiple instructions and convoluted systems which didn't work. Requested support from their tech support and they sent me a link which didn't work instead of helping me. Finally was able to unsubscribe through Google play.

The app doesn't really function they way it supposed to AT ALL. I usually don't leave reviews for anything but they charged my card $25 after I canceled my subscription and uninstalled the app weeks before being charged. I wouldn't even chance it to just download for the free 1 week trial. Not worth it!

Im not sure how good the app is. After I purchased a subscription, i keep getting an error that says i need to verify my email. I have tried to verify it sevral times with no luck. Until the app decides to verify my email, it will not work. Ive tried to contact cuatomer service about the issue but they do not respond.

This app refuses to allow me to cancel my trial subscription. When I click cancel subscription in the app it prompted me to send an email. I then received an email from Bruce stating they are unable to cancel my subscription and to go back to the app to cancel it. Of course when I clicked cancel subscription it prompted me to email them again. There is no free trial. They will charge your account.
