This was, to start, a very good app. The iFit ecosystem is, in theory, very good. Trouble is, it just doesn't work very well. The interaction with the treadmill is good and you can create your own routes. However, after having followed various maps for a few weeks it just stopped working. No maps! No workouts! To rub salt in the wounds, I get a message every morning telling me I have a new workout, only to be disappointed again when my Android pad and app tell me nothing is scheduled. If iFit fix this it could be a great system.
Don't waste your money on this app. The company behind it does not fix the connectivity issues and does not make it compatible with newer version of Android.
If you take the time to see what you get for 180 a year it's worth is plus u get a free ifit watch! Real time coaching very nice value!
Always cuts off mid workout. Never wants to sync with my machine. Very disappointing.
I bought a treadmill to avoid monthly gym fees. Not interested in a monthly subscription!
I absolutely love this. I wish I had gotten a long time ago
It should work but Nooo! Just keep paying for no services
Want to give a 0 star rating... You have to pay to use the Bluetooth!? Such BS!!
Quite expensive and the only value for real is that it controls the slope of the treadmill matching it with the slope of google street view. The animation is not fluid enough to give the sense of running.
Does not work with Nexus 7 (2013 2nd gen) with NordicTrack 6.7i treadmill. I was finally able to get this thing connected however app rarely syncs workouts with web site. I wish I could give this app a negative rating, it is an absolute ripoff and there is no technical support.
I spent a lot of money on my nordictrack elliptical (which I love)and paid for a 2 year subscription to ifit so I could do the live workouts, (which would motivate me to workout more)only to find out live workouts are not compatible with Bluetooth enabled equipment. I want an app that's going to let me do the live workouts not just record what I did. So very disappointed
Just does not work! Tried adding workouts from the iFit website and using a few different ones on the machine. The app doesn't change anything just records what you do manually. Using Bluetooth enabled Proform Elliptical/recumbent bike. So disappointed! I'll just use the preset workouts or manual. :(
I purchased a 990C Nordictrack treadmil because it was iFit compatible. Then I purchased a 2 year membership from iFit to get virtual trails. Well the entire iFit app and customer service is a bunch of garbage. For one thing I work Monday to Friday and their support team is only open during the week and there is no after hour support. You need a piece of paper to set up your wifi on Nordictrack even though its 2017.... I didn't know a technology company was in the dinosaur ages. It took me about a week of trying to get my wifi setup and even when I did the bluetooth didn't work and I still can't connect via bluetooth through my tablet (Samsung 4). Then when I finally did get a virtual map through the iFit bluetooth app it was so ridiculously jerky and didn't move for about 2 minutes it was extremely boring. I'm going to cancel my membership with iFit and maybe see if there are any legal ramifications I could take for the false advertising.
Utterly contempable nonsense. Disconnects from machine every single time but offers no way to save or find selected workouts. I'm not annoyed at paying a subscription fee; it's irritating but if it worked it would be fine. But it's pretty galling to pay a monthly fee for an app that *will not work* about 80% of the times I try, and won't save anything you do. I hope the developers are at least a little embarrassed and I'm cancelling my subscription.
Golds gym sells expensive equipment then touts this app that requires a minimum monthly buy in of $9.99. Said app doesn't work according to all reviews. I have no personal experience with that because I am not paying for the service due to reviews. As a consumer, however, I am beyond pissed that I purchased the exercise bike from golds because I thought they would include at least on a trial basis an app that would work with the Bluetooth on the machine.
Bought a if it enabled treadmill and a year membership. First time it paired with my android tablet and iPad. Second time it will drop a message that it was unable to connect with my treadmill. It was paired and still won't work!, costumer service is horrible, they never answer the phone and take like 4 days to return an email. They hire teenagers with no knowledge to solve this issues and of course they don't resolve it. So now I am with a brand new treadmill and a year membership useless... don't waste your time. The app is really bad and 98% of the time it won't work. What a shame...
I'm really pissed off.... bought a Norditrack treadmill at Sears that was bluetooth enabled with iFit okay.., went home couldn't get it to work so I decided to purchase the I fit membership.... spent $180 on a the ifit coach membership only to realize that it not compatible with my tablet and so I had to have a brand new tablet with a Android 5.0 or higher...so I went and got a new tablet to make it compatible come to find out that the Google Street View is not compatible with the Bluetooth iFit feature on the treadmill....Like why would I not want to view live video of where I'm running..this is f****** ridiculous I've wasted all my money on this stuff.... I'm beyond upset
Waste of time and money. Signed up on January 6th. Able to connect my tablet to my treadmill but when you try and launch a workout, get an error message that the connection with my device has been interrupted. Used chat support and they said would have to send to tech team to review. Today is Jan 17 and haven't heard one thing back. Still haven't received the iFit device that supposedly comes with membership. I'm out about $16. 1 star was very generous as I couldn't give less. Don't waste your time with this.
Doesn't properly pair to my iFit enabled treadmill, meaning nothing works in the app despite everything being up-to-date, following FAQs and meeting requirements. For the premium price of iFit equipment, and considering the additional subscription fee, you would expect flawless. Or at least functional. Or at least a support service answering you...
I'm thoroughly embarrassed that I didn't believe that this app could be this terrible. It's effectively useless, just a big dumb second screen for your equipment... DO NOT consider giving ifit a chance, it's so not worth getting your hopes up. Think it's saving your manual run? Nope, it's not.... Don't even think of bumping a control, it'll suspend your program until you leave your Netflix and go back to the app to hit resume... Never have I been so disappointed.
Had to buy a new tablet just to install and use this app with my new NordicTrack C850. Bought an inexpensive but decent Lenovo Tab 4. The app paired with my treadmill easily enough, but overall this app is incredibly slow and unresponsive. Once you get it started it constantly mistakes a swipe in the middle of the screen to change between street and satellite views for a swipe of either the incline or speed sliders along the sides of the screen - it will drive you crazy doing this even though your hand is nowhere near those sliders. Will also randomly stop in the middle of run saying it will end in 2 minutes and prompting you to start it again. You have to tap controls like "Quit" or "Resume Incline" multiple times. There is no way to browse workouts/maps, custom saved or otherwise, they can only be scheduled online. Overall this app experience is hot garbage and needs major major improvements. Grossly unintuitive to boot. To make it worse you have to pay for this incredibly broken experience.
I purchased an if it treadmill only to find out my tablet was not comparable so I purchased a tablet that was comparable only to find out there was a monthly charge. I was angry but decided to go ahead only to find out that the work out is nothing more than a slideshow. Very disappointing and even that locks up constantly. Complete waste
Subscription fee costs as much as paying for real gym membership... Hahaha oh boy. iFit = iUseless. Should have mentioned it when buying the treadmill. But they never mentioned it, so now i'm disappointed. Yes you Proform.
Very basic dashboard with Google map integration. Does not display video workouts. This app should be free. Would be willing to pay for subscription if video workouts and interactive workouts with real time feedback and coaching were available. As is, not a very useful app. The built in workouts are just as good.
I love my NordicTrack treadmill. Great bit of kit. I hate iFit, £80 for a years subscription for what? Appalling UI, freezes, crashes, drops connection. A thousand monkies headbutting a keyboard for a week would make a better app. Seriously don't waste a penny or a second on this and just wait for Zwift support to arrive. It
Hopeless.cuts off half way though workout, also the Google map views are a series of photos not a smooth ride.will use cycle footage from youtube for free from now on.couldn't be more disappointedfor the money I spent on this.I ride a proforma tour DE France 1.0 so need a tablet to use the ifit via blue tooth. Great bike hopeless ifit software.fix this ,
