IG Forex: spot FX trading

Complicated app, it is not user friendly app, connecting to mt4 is difficult, the spreads are high and order is usually accepted at a market price when you have limit set, stop loss will be automatically removed from your order so keep an eye on it. It is challenging to close half of the order and one cannot take two orders in different directions. No chat options for quick response.

App not user friendly. Seems the chart needs to be full screen then tapped in order to access the additional tools including timeframes, types, indicators etc. Could benefit from a UI Tutorial. Having at least two charts with with different timeframes showing at the same time would be VERY helpful.

I have been using this app for 6 mths or more. Have had no issues untill recently. Everytime I click on any market currency the screen appears as if a transparent white layer covers the screen. Any help to correct this is greatly appreciated.

App is user friendly and easy on the eyes but the spread is WAY too high. This app is probably one of the reasons why people lose so much money in their beginning stages of tradin, causing them to stop trading. Ridiculously high spreads. I won't be adding funds to this app for this reason.

Do not download unless you have money to give away. Everything about this app is set up to take your money. Super wide spreads make profit hard. If you accidentally make a little money, they have rules about verification of cards and bank accounts before you can withdrawal. I've had the app for more than a year and I like it. I typically trade from my PC so I can't say I've tried using the app extensively but it serves me well to check on things. I do hope to have the option to change time frames on my charts; some months ago they only displayed in Daily intervals but now they only display in 5min intervals. I would like the option to change between several

User friendly platform for a beginner utilizing the app. However, I have not been able to connect it to my MT4 account. Also, I have missed out on some great trades setting limits. For example I set a buy limit on the app and while watching the chart on my computer, it bounced off my limit 5 different times within an hour and the app still didn't take the trade. Very disappointing 😔

This is a very good application for forex trading. The charts are wonderful and customer service is right there for you. They had a promotion at one point and lived up to every word of it!

I'm pretty sure can count the amount of review I write on a single hand but I just gotta sat that this is a great platform. Runs very smooth, support is wonderful over the phone and easily understandable. I myself haven't experienced any difficulties. I really do enjoy using this platform, Thank you!

Money Grab. I uploaded a bank statement verified my identity with my driver's license debit card...all by the book...they won't let me withdraw my money. Do not put money with them

I've been trying out a few different forex trading apps but I keep coming back to this one. Easy to use and has everything you need. And it's actually nice to look at. One suggestion is to be able to view the chart while making a trade. Also it would be nice when a notification comes in if it displayed if it was profitable or not. Keep up the great work!

I wish I could do trailing stops. Maybe overlap multiple currencies on one screen. Overall though, the app has been great, simple to execute, trade and I am especially in love with the tight spreads.

Update: so the new update is good, spread window is great, and btw IG REALLY does have the lowest spreads, however, they are missing some features others have. Yes you can use MT4 but this review is for IG trading platform. No trailing stop is a bummer, another less refined platform has this feature. That's pretty much the only thing I'd ask for because this app does all the basics so well and is more smooth than anything out there. Please add trailing stops IG. Also we need notifications.

So easy to use! The spreads are very low and the functionality is awesome. I did have one trade execute without my knowledge but I think that may have been my mistake. Didn't close out a position. I'm currently in demo mode. Will update when I upgrade to a live account.

Easy to use, never had any lag or technical issues with the app. Does everything I need to trade. Wish custom indicators from mt4 could be added, my only feedback. Really, beautiful intuitive app. Highly recommended!

For a mobile app with leverage for US citizens it's a great app, loads fast very responsive, many of the indicators work well and are visible and detailed. BUT I would like to see my 2 most used indicators which are on most reputable trading platforms 1) Fibonacci Speed Resistance Fan 2) Adjustable Fibonacci Time Zones. other than that it's a great app for a mobile device however trading larger sums, I always recommend trading on a desktop.

I feel like the app is convenient but it's not accurate enough for someone who is a short trader

No trailing stop, what the heck?! Aside from that it does what I need it to do. Also not compatible with MT5. Had I known all of this up front, I would not have gone with IG. It's where I am for now, but unless trailing stops are added to this app, I will not be a long time IG customer.

Becareful this asks for personal info and there is not way to cancel account after you set it up which is gonna bother me!

This thing is a scam designed to mainupulate you and take your money. You can't even withdraw what you still have left to the card you PAID WITH without taling extra steps that give them information they don't need. Sure perhaps I'm just not good at this, but my experience with it leads me to believe it's more than that. Don't waste your time or money with this platform.

The main forex trading app I use. Easy to use interface and indicators.

The app doesn't display all the information you need when placing a trade on demo anyway have to click back and forth. I the interface feels so outdated theres no connection to the app.

Very difficult to navigate as a beginner. Don't see any way to access my demo acct and not going to put up my hard earned bucks until I get some successful "play" trades under my belt.

Out of the all the broker apps I've used, this is by far the best, fastest and simplest! After a few days of use, I have no complaints. And I'm sure that IG will only improve it as suggestions and feature requests come in. Easily a 5-star app!

Actually when working with the FXCM platform, anyone else seems insufficient. This IG app is very incomplete, unfriendly and not easy to work. I think they can do something much better

Even thought I may lost a lot of money I understand that it's all on me and this recession will eventually pass. This is a good app expensive with many flaws but good just take pictures of your bets cause it this app has many flaws.

This app suck for trading. The chart is only in daily time frame and you can't change the time frame. At least I haven't been able to change the time frame.
