The lock is just fine. First one changed within 1 year because battery leaking. Changed with newer version still ok for the last 4 years. On the other hand, the app is bad. Can't even sync or update firmware. Keep looking for lock without end. Didn't even know if working or not. Have to end the app everytime. Tried with iOS and Android both no luck updating or syncing.

This does not work to open my padlock where there is no cell reception. It would be great if the bluetooth still worked when offline. Ads for thepadlock say no wifi needed but should also tell you that cell reception is needed. Bad forlocking gates in rural areas. Sorry guys, otherwise the lock is pretty cool.

Not working. After clicking accept terms update it will not work. Keeps saying error and check network connection. My connection is fine... Please help. I need to generate a code and access for someone coming today. Normally it works well but now it won't work at all.

The app is easy to use, clean, intuitive and very useful. I have two devices, the padlock and the lockbox. These and anynother igloohome devices are managed through the one app, so it makes managing different devices in different properties extremely convenient. The devices, however, are sturdier and more secure than others I have used. But what convinced me to write a review (hardly ever do it) and to privide a 5-star one is the company's tech support, which is absolutely amazing.

Works for me! The only thing that I would suggest is that the new access key screen be made more intuitive. I created a new permanent pin awhile back. Even now it says "sync to update status". I thought every time I unlocked with the app, it automatically synced access? It's a bit confusing.

I have one Keybox 3 and two Keybox 2's. Generally speaking I love them! However, l have noticed lately that the logs are inaccurate - this is incredibly troublesome when I need to be sure my renters are using my spaces only for the time they've paid for. It would also be incredibly helpful to be able to issue Duration PINs more specifically than on the hour.

Try to support local industry as much as possible but this doesn't make the cut. Had changed 2 locks in 2+ years. Worked fine initially but broke down recently. Contacted support and after diagnosing problem, was told my model is obsolete and no spares is available. Was told my only option is to purchase a "new, improved" model. Guess it's better to change to a more established and reliable make.

The Deadbolt 2S was an easy install for a DIY person - I already had a deadbolt and this fit without any mods to the the door, except having to drill one small hole and Igloohome included the bit! I like that it uses Bluetooth app on your phone and not the less secure WiFi. You can unlock it with the keypad code that you set (and you can setup temp ones for workers, etc. The app on your phone has the history), the free app on your phone is a easy download/install. From my phone I can unlock it from about 25-30' and you get physical keys. Another cool feature is that from the inside, you can engage the deadbolt and then by pushing a button, disable the outside keypad. The mortise push-pull lock is very versatile with many options and obviously the finger print option is most convenient. The installer assigned to do my door is very professional, meticulous and cautious in the measurements. Well equipped with jigs and template to make sure the job is done accurately. Thanks for his guidance and patience to program the lock with the different options. Overall my family members are please with the new lock. 😊

Own Lockbox 3, app keeps on asking for a update but error keeps showing and won't connect. Lost my Bluetooth connection capabilities -Update 2/9/21 I reached out via email. This time around they gave me a solution they had to erase my lock from my account and I had to do a hard reset, after that everything is back to normal. 3 stars for customer service not coming up with this solution before hand

App version 2.8.0: Connecting to Igloohome Smart Keybox 3 with latest firmware is not possible as guest but works fine as host. This means sharing bluetooth keys is not an option. I have tested this on multiple Android devices with same result. Support has been informed about it as well. Update from support: This is expected behaviour from a jailbroken device.

1) Have been using Igloohome for almost two years and have changed t batteries twice. First time t screen flashed to say it was low on battery. Second time it didn't - once in a while it made t clicking noise as if it was being unlocked. Had to go into t app to check. 2) black material on door handle started to peel recently. velvety touch probably isn't suitable for outdoors. I would assume it would have this visual defect within 6 months near t coastline.

I purchased my second lock a few minths ago. The first generation igloo lockbox had mechanical problemscbut the concept of guest having access in a bluetooth manner if needed was great. I purchased the latest model from Amazon. It is great so far. It solves all problems and works like a gem. I recently had assistance paring and unpairing the old an new lock to both ny listings. Marie was phenomenal. Her patience, video demo and several calls for clarity and support was superior support.

very variable. works fine for periods. then generated keys disappears and sometimes comes back. But worst is when it continuously stated that the network was not available while all other apps had connectivity. had to uninstall and install from scratch. Galaxy S8+

So here is the thing - it's a really good push button lock, which is really all I wanted. The problem is you need the app to change the PIN, and the app isn't working on my phone, so I'm stuck with a $100 dollar lock with a 10 digit default PIN that I can't change. I think this company has lost site of the fact that they are selling a padlock, not a piece of software. It's unfortunate because otherwise it would probably be a pretty good product.

Could be better interface wise but is OK in its current form. Needs a feature for repeat duration access. e.g. a cleaner allowed access every Wednesday for a certain time period only. For all the tech hype, access control features are quite basic.

It's a good overall service. We have the mortise series. The only frustration is that door codes need to be synced daily when you make a duration otherwise the codes stop working. I don't see the point in creating duration codes if they need a daily sync.

You guys are really different from other companies who just want to make money. I truly respect your commitment to good customer services and product quality. Just to also add that I particularly like user friendly app and the lock's glass touch screen where you enter the codes. It looks as good as new even after so many presses over the past 1 year. Super friendly apps. I wish they build a widget, so i don't need to open app every single time. I installed deadbolt 2s. My family and friends love it very much. I encountered a problem to login a few days ago, i dropped an email to their Support Team for help. I received a prompt response from Vee F from the support team within 10mnt in Sunday! It provides details& instructions on how to deal with my problem and s/he monitored until few days later to ensure the problem not reoccurring. Kudos!!

Bought an Igloohome smart padlock for my boxing and fitness studio that requires multiple secured and private entry PINs for over 10 staff. Although the first padlock was likely defective, customer and tech support services that I received from Vee F. was exceptional. In the end, a new replacement lock was sent to me in less than 2 days and it is in perfect working condition. I am now able take advantage of so many useful features that this smart padlock has to offer. Thanks Vee and Igloohome!

App is fine, their locks horrible! Malfunction after a year (perfect timing for warranty) and doesn't lock or unlock anymore. Non fixable and they tell you to buy another COMPLETE SET from them.

Have Samsung S5 running Android 5.0. App just shows blank screen even though should run on Android 5 Update : Managed to update S5 to Android 6.01 and was working fine until latest app/FW update. Now I get an Error message that says Unable to connect to lock. Please restart Bluetooth, 46.5.703. Tried that but only get 3 blue flashes on lock before another error message. Can I get the previous version of the App somewhere ?

Horrible experience with their lock. First of all there are no any notification if the battery running low. And almost no customer service if your lock got problem and stuck outside.

Very impressed with the customer service by igloohome. Vee was the one assisting me with some technical problem and she personally saw the whole matter through even though it was after hours and on weekends. My matter was arranged to resolve within 1 day and another day to fix it physically. Thanks Vee and team!
