IGNOU e-Content
IGNOU-e-Content App is a one stop solution for all the IGNOU learners to access their course material through their hand held devices such as Mobile Phones and Tablets. This app will cater around 30 million IGNOU learners to access the course material at any time anywhere at their finger tips.
IGNOU-e-Content provides downloadable IGNOU course material to its learners at various levels such as Certificate, Diploma, PG Certificate/ Diploma, Bachelors’ and Masters Degree programmes. Once the course material is downloaded in learners’ mobile device they can access it on anytime-anywhere basis.

I'm not able to download this app and I've given feedback twice but still unable to download what the rubbish is this.. axams are going to happen within a month what would i do if i haven't study material!!!! It's too rubbish... I'm so frustrated it's the first time I'm giving only 1 star to an app!!!! Very bad experience!!!!!
wish the app made clear that something was downloading and asked me where i would want it stored. No dark mode. No option to show English only content. No text reflow. No text read aloud Documents are a PDF instead of html or epub.not optimised for tablets
Though the app appears to work in the beginning but the option to actually open the content is no there. It suddenly stopped working. Also there is not an option for downloading. Even though the app description clearly says it can be downloaded. If the material is not downloaded then how can one mark the important bits? Please rectify as soon as possible.
Till one month this app worked properly but now it's becoming difficult to use it cause now every second day it's stop working , it says can't connect to the surver please contact the app....and also this apps lack important features like book mark, highlighting etc. This apps need a lot of improvement. This app was made for students' convenience but it's not doing it's job appropriately.
Fabulous is an understatement! Content galore for each course. Thank you for developing an amazing app that helps sift through course material so easily. This app is loaded with study material. No more lugging around a stack of books. Keep up the good work!
hi team, excellent app. request you have an option added for feedback in the app itself. there are few links that seems to be broken like BCOA books doesn't seem to open. Also the download option would be fabulous considering not all may have internet connection at all times.
Unable to download the app. There aren't any server issues and there is ample space in my device. It is a request to the developer to kindly fix this issue and update the application. Thank you
This app was working perfectly fine when I downloaded it from here in September. But since yesterday app is not loading any content of subjects. Just showing headings of the courses offered. Please fix this bug soon. Many students are facing the same problem.
Good application and initiative. Easy to access materials and it will get saved automatically in 'my files'. In future updates please try to include the following additions and modifications. Try to include specimen copy of atleast one solved assignment of each course so that a basic idea can be generated by students, especially new comers. Giving sufficient details about project work and dissertation on each course.
First of all congratulations for launching this app. Can't thank enough for this effort of yours, it has made very convenient for the IGNOU students since the hardcopy never reach to them on time, as I was goin through the contents one thing I missed was the options for highlight n bookmark, that will make reading even more easier... unabling highlighting important points while reading is frustrating,pls fix this issue...Thanks🙏
Sir please update the app and fix the bug because it's very slow and lagging in nature. The interface was designed attractive and content display quality is very clear but issue is it's running very slow.please maintain the dignity of the institution and trust towards the students.i am writing this because the app is developed in october 2018 and after 11 months also there is no development in the app.please update the app to help the students and readers.
What an useless application .... You people are saying that the content gets downloaded automatically..but it is not like that ..even the app is not working properly ..from last two days I have been trying to open the contents of the application but every time it shows nothing just the heading.
I am very deprssed with this app. This dang app wont even show the content. I am literally like uninstalling and then installing it again to see if something changes but NOOO!!! They need the assignments on time but they cant help us with this app. Least show the content so that i could finish the assignments 🤷♂️
Actually app is very nice and very much helpful. But sometimes its showing like buffering.. Currently not opening the list of courses... Im trying it hard. I have installed it one more time but still its not opening. Hope it will start soon!
Not original print. The materials are just scanned from the physical copies and so there are many print issues like - many missing words because of bad print, dark unclear pages, etc. And this is an official app? Unbelievable.
It is good that you people have started app, but there are many things to imorove in this. like, when i download any book it gets downloaded but when i wish to see that book through this app it again downloads the material every time instead it should show the previous downloaded material so that i can handle app without any data. Make it more compatible for offline uses.
Does not load only, it takes forever to load the content! Poor service, even with high speed WiFi, this thing loads with the speed of an ant trying to climb a mountain. Utter wastage. If only giving 0 stars was possible.
App is very outdated. Major issues are there. Always require internet connection. App should work in offline too. There must be a option to save file, and a bookmark option so we can continue reading where we left.
The app description very clearly states that you are supposed to be providing "downloadable content". Nothing in your app for my enrolled course (Mcom 1st year) was downloadable. There is NO option to download. Kindly fix this issue asap as I was depending on this app to be able to write and submit the assignments that are due in 4 days.
Tried several times since morning to open the study material but there's nothing, it doesn't open and doesn't show anything, if the study material is not loaded please do so . If you are seeing these reviews please do the needful. As its a distance course we need to have some help and study material is the most important thing one can have. Please help us.
Nothing negative about this app. All content available in hindi as well as in English. It takes some time to access notes but it can be ignored. Else everything is fine.
It's hectic to find what you want but that's somehow still ok..But IGNOU you really need to upload the e content in best possible way..Some content available here is tilted, blurry and missing..I now feel sad for opting for online study material..It's really hard to study if there is missing content from the books..Please either scan the books properly (making sure the books have good printing) or can't you just use the final draft of books to be printed.. Please consider my request
Being a student of July 2020 batch, I expect my first year exam to take place in June 2021. But, so far, only two books have been sent to me and all the major books are still not in my hand and it's Feb 2021. I tried to access e-content through this app but this app itself is not responding. So, the scenario at present is that I'm supposed to submit my assignments by March and I still don't have any idea about the books and the materials. Urgent help and and solution expected from IGNOU.
The content is not showing after refreshing the app 100 times also. So frustrated with this app and with the option of chosing e content. Kindlg make the content downloadable so that this problem can be overcome.
This is just a dumbass app. It's like too good to be true. It only shows us the topics but never loads up a single topic. Don't download it. It's just a waste of time, energy, space and patience. I wish I could give it stars in negative. I strongly downvote this app. This app is as hopeless as thier offline counterpart.
The app is of no use as it has stopped working from more than a month now. Raising a case or emailing the concerned authority doesn't evoke any response. Till it worked, it was great as we could access the required content
Please provide option to download the soft copy of courses, it will be helpful for us, when we don't have internet data. Because all the time networks data are not same, it fluctuate, then this app is not helpful at that time.
Thank you IGNOU Team for coming up with this much needed app. However, it needs some essential features such as ability to provide offline viewing in pdf, add notes and bookmarks. It would be truly useful app for all students alike.

They are just pdf copies. E content also need to include text to speech, search, copy options. Moreover it need to be interactive. Merely putting pdf copies of books are not enough. Distance learning has gone a sea change with elearning. IGNOU need to be a market leader and early adopter of technology to stay ahead of the curve.
