Bought this boxing day. Only setting up now. App was not connecting to device. I have a samsung s8. It eventually worked. I setup alarms and the time auto synced to my phone, but then it just stayed at the time that it synced to (6:36PM auto sync and it stayed at that time). I then turned BT off and manually adjusted the time but it still does change from what I set it to. I've spent 2 hours trying to get it to work, unplugging plugging in again but still doesnt work. Biggest waste money.

when the app works it's an easier way to make selections. I like the unit's features so I'm keeping it. don't need the app to run the unit. only issue I have is it sets up 2 separate bt connections, one for music and calls and the other for the app then I have to delete, turn off and mess with it to get the app to connect. a little frustrating hopefully they'll fix this. only have had it for a few days.

this app is awful! I love the clock but this stupid app never works. my phone and the speaker will both say they are connected through bluetooth. Music from my phone will even be playing through the speaker. But the app will insist that there is no device connected. I can't set the alarms using my phone, have the clock automatically sync, or wake up to music playing through my phone. Bought this clock for the bluetooth feature. Would not have bought it if I had known how bad the app was.

Worst app ever, and it took me forever to get the alarm to consistently go off. Now it's set to abruptly stop my background noise, change to something else, which jars me awake every morning. I am afraid to touch because of the amount of times it DIDN'T go off. For almost $100, this thing should have been a fitbit or something, instead it is a crashing piece of garbage.

If you can get it set up, it is fairly ok. To not have to go over to the machine everytime you want to use it is handy. It requires pairing of machine and app everytime the app is opened, which while not challenging is a bit of a sigh. This does mean you will need to be on the same wifi connection as the machine with every attempt at use. (I'm not sure if remote use function was ever a possibility, albeit I was a bit dissapointed to find I would not be able to attempt it.) 2018-2021

Horrible app! It constantly has to be reset. it won't connect to the device for more than a day at a time if you're lucky. The device it connects to is super complicated to set up manually so the app is a must! Update: 1 year later & no changes have been made to the app...still horrible! I really like the machine but this app is so frustrating!

Can't locate paired unit. Until recently this app worked. It had issues with the development like the scrolling was quirky and you really couldn't tell which part of alarm was being set but I could get it to work eventually. Now the app says that there are no paired units even though the clock itself shows paired to my phone and vice versa. At New Year the date setting changed on its own to the year 2025. Now I can't trust the alarm to work either. I would return it if possible.

Using a Samsung galaxy s8+ to attempt to connect to izbt10, the phone cannot detect the unit through this application. I've managed to connect once or twice but the connectivity quickly drops shortly after. My phone is within 2 feet of the unit and it is unable to connect. I attempted to do a firmware update and it gives me a "null" error. Would like some extended review of the coding in this program to make it worthwhile. Considering returning the ihome product because it's almost useless without the application support. Edit: day 2. I'm a relatively light sleeper, and this thing's volume is way too loud when starting the wakeup process 10 min before the alarm. My cellphone starts from like a mouse and gently rises. It's getting returned in the morning and the application is even worse than garbage. DO NOT BUY this product if you want something relatively easy to operate

With so much research and doctors input to create this product, the app should be updated. It must be able to connect to the clock and stay connected. Each time the app is opened you search for the clock, app may or may not find the clock. Seems some small effort in coding would remedy this situation. The app does allow for a much simpler way to navigate and control the clock. I'll give the app a 3 due to the initialization process that must be completed each time the user wants to run the app. Almost, as if the clock where new in setup mode. I think the frustration is felt by others with the 1 star rating.

Horribly buggy app for an otherwise decent device (izbt10). You might be able to get it to connect if you power cycle the device. If your lucky. You can't even do the firmware update that supposedly fixes it because of a "updatePartConfig == null" error. Frustrating. At least they were smart enough to make Bluetooth audio seperate because that at least works fine.

Just plain horrible. This is the worst app I've ever installed. The app doesn't stay conected to the unit. It randomly drops off. It starts the set up procedure all over, tells me it cannot find the speaker or just spins as if it's trying to connect but never does. For an alarm clock that costs almost 100 dollars one would expect a lot more from the app. Programming the alarm from the unit is very combersome and almost requires the app. I think I wil be returning the clock. A big fat fail Ihome.

Garbage. It annoying that I have to resetup my device every time i try to set my alarm. For the last several days once i get it connected, it switches to inactive and I can't use the app to do anything. 100% useless. I hit the alarm button on my alarm clock but have literally no idea if it is set or not.

I have the IZBT10 and now I have the mini. It connected to my phone, after several attempts. But the app cant seem to set up the IZBT7, it only recognizes the 10. My 2 year loves the sounds and the lights, would be great if it connected to my phone, so that I can control when to shut it off and change lights without going I ti his room.

App is useless. Was hoping since bad reviews are so old that iHome has been working on fixing the bugs.. but no.. I have same problem, BT connects fine, app can't find device. I can play music with BT but can't use app. Now I have a very expensive sound machine that can't tell time. Very bad app, very bad sound machine (izbt10).

As a QA tester for an app and website, I am shocked that this has been released into production. On the first day my alarm worked as it should. The second day my alarm did not go off at all. I had even double checked the night before to make sure it was still set up. Luckily I had a back up alarm, because of the reviews, I was wary to trust it to work properly. The last update was october and your app is at one star. Either you do not care to have a working app or you have no one to fix it.

Fought this app for an hour before I threw up my hands and told my wife to take the sleep machine back. App performance could not be worse. Will not stay connected, settings never save, and trying to set the machine up manually is a veritable nightmare. Probably the worst experience we've ever had with an app.

I'm very unhappy with the app, the whole point of the clock is to be able to sync and control your device but the app never pairs correctly or it constantly kicks me out so how is my sleep or alarm supposed to work or in that case how can my alarm play my bluetooth music instead of annoying buzzer if the app always disconnects me. Update this becuase I'm sure it makes other ppl want to return the product

I won't be using the app until it's fixed. The alarm is unreliable. And the volume and light bars dont sync properly. App always disconnects from the device and I have to set it up every time I open the app. Thought about returning the product... Great product (izbt5), horrible app.

Garbage. The app won't pair with my device even if I follow the developers instructions. The product itself is garbage as well. We have to reset it every few weeks as it gets stuck on a certain color and never fully shuts off. I should have spent more money on a better product. The product is the iHome iZBT10

worked half way decent. for first 4 months. would never save settings in 1 or 2 . now it keeps saying no device found....even though I am 8 inches away from it. tried uninstalling app....have tried holding bluetooth buttons. for ten seconds and reconnecting blue tooth....still says no device found. just about ready to throw it threw the wall. any other suggestions?

There is no way to use this app because even when I am already paired to my iHome with Bluetooth, it says no iHomes are available to connect. Yes, I have uninstalled and reinstalled AND restarted my phone multiple times. I love the Zenergy clock itself and would love to get the full effects of it with the app.

HORRIBLE app! Returned the iZBT7 and bought the iZBT10 because the developers say it's compatible, but app is still mostly useless. Can't ever update firmware of iZBT10, or even connect Bluetooth most of the time! SAD! Messages like "App is not able to sync with speaker" are the usual response. Attempting to update firmware gets cryptic/unhelpful message "updatePartConfig == null" which isn't addressed anywhere on the Internet. Get used to using the buttons on the top since the app is AWFUL!

App does not work well. Kicks you out often, will not sync. Some features are different on app than on device, and therefore cannot use the features because the sync does not work for app. I cannot get the most out of my device because of this. Please offer a new app!

Horrible, buggy app. Cannot get the iHome to pair with my phone and the app (even when I had an iPhone). I couldnt rely on it to be my alarm, because I didnt know if it actually set an alarm. I always have to re-pair it to my phone, which is annoying when it wont even show up on my Bluetooth.

Easily the worst App on my phone. Too many steps each time you want to change something. Works only part time. The device works fine. Easier to pick up the iHome and press the buttons manually. 1.5 stars? Who the hell gave this more than 1 star?

▪Sleep device which keeps you up longer before sleeping Constantly unable to connect to A Zenergy machine - I say A, as in one. You have 2, it reads "iHome iZBT10" which can connect to another in the same household blasting the other room over. Or stuck perpetually locating the Zenergy 2 feet away from you. Make better Bluetooth reading, and label Zenergy by bedroom like a google product. Works perfect and offers great sounds and customization, but connecting during this review ain't good.

One day the app pairs with my Bluetooth the next day it don't! Whats the point in having the product if the app does not work properly? The clock says that the device is paired but the app keep say, no device is found. Very frustrated. I am returning this product and will be purchasing something else to help me sleep!
