iHunt: Over 700 Animal Calls

Another update on 1/19. Didn't fix any problems. Can no longer store on SD card. Must store in device memory. Creating a hunting playlist is now the most convoluted and complicated process. It opens every single sound in every animal category. You have to close them all, one at a time until you come to the 1 sound you're looking for. A really poor app after all the negative updates.

The app was great, I paid and was happy, and then they revamped it. Now I can't get in to any of the calls that I paid for. The button to restore everything doesn't work... doesn't matter where you press on the screen. Like to get my money back if I could, but I know that's not possible. Whatever, there's other options.

Something in wrong with the repeat time. It's not one minute I counted to 60 and it's way past that if it even calls. Sometimes it doesnt call altogether. So far I am only using it by pressing the button every time which is not ideal when your hunting. I like the selection of calls but there is lots of room for improvement. I did purchase it because it has good calls, they're real animals. I have had it bring in deer already. Please fix those issues though and you will have the best hunting call app by far!

Edit: Very good and prompt dev made the situation right. All the same be careful with which version you purchase, however both are EXCELLENT. Very dissapointed, ended up purchasing the other ihunt app rather than the upgrade from this version without knowing they aren't the same. This has many more features and a few more sounds than the other standalone app and i would have gladly paid the extra 2 bucks had the differences been disclosed. The apps are great but having two separate versions is confusing and frankly deceptive.

App is worth 5 stars, but updates are only worth 1. Overall 3 stars. Updates this time of year are ridiculous. It's hunting season. Previous updates broke the app, and the fix showed up last minute. In the future I will not be updating this between August 1 and December 31. Luckily I still had a working version on an old phone. BTW, the update somewhere along the line eliminated my playlists also. Now I have to redo them. Again, luckily I still had a working version on an old phone.

I lost access to several animal calls after recent update. I puchased this app awhile ago. I was able to work with dev to resolve this issue.

Well, I *was* loving this app. I've had it for a few years now and have been amazed at the accuracy of the lunar chart, BUT thabks to whatever update yall just did, it won't even open on my phone now. Super disappointed since it's right at the beginning of the season. Fix this bug and it's an easy 5 star's from me

Keeps crashing on launch after the new update. Installed latest update- app launches but gets stuck on Downloading resources failed because resources aren't available. App is still dysfunctional. Season is open, guys, c'mon dont do this to us Update: Works perfectly after 2nd update. Back to 5 stars. thanks.

I payed for all the calls the app updated and took them all I followed the instructions to restore and it didn't work I will not purchase this again

Since the update it stopped working! Constantly shows a download screen then it fails over WiFi and cell. And I paid for this stinking app. This is the second time with this app that it failed. No response from support. Plus the app is difficult to use to combine calls or create a playlist. Sad that a company like Ruger has their name on it.

Since the last 2 updates, the application crashes. I reinstalled and was prompted to download resource files, but get a message that the file could not be found for download. In the middle of deer season, this is not a wanted scenario....

New Update Screwed It Up, it tries to download everytime I open it, only to say no resources were found, even though I'm connected to wifi and then it wont open anything. Goes back to the same download screen. Almost 100 bucks for this thing and now I cant use it????? Something needs to be done and quick.

I have owned this device for years, developers decided to do a cash grab and remove all functionality from the app with an update. All sounds that were advertised as included and available to use for years are now locked behind a paywall.

Have used it many times. Great sound. 4 stars not 5 because after I use it one day, the next time I have to unlock the calls by entering the sn inside the speaker . What a terrible idea when you are hunting. I paid for the system. It is mine. It should never lock me out. Good unit but has some quirks.

I'm back for the last muzzle load hunt and the app now has a Light Bulb icon that switches to a dark mode!! Works great Up graded to 5 star rating! Thanks! .Good app with lot of features. I would give it 5 stars but there is no "Dark mode". When you are hunting prime time, dawn & dusk, and use the calls its like turning on a flashlight & gives away your position & spooks game. I've emailed support 3three times with suggestion and no response.

When using this app with a Samsung S21 it doesn't shut off any music apps that you were previously playing already. When you start to play a call, the music app doesn't turn off or actually starts playing the last song you were playing as well as the call.

[September 27] update fix the installation issue, but the app try to download "resources" and it doesn't work. [September 23] update doesn't work. Says "Error iHunt 750 keep closing". Tried to clear cache/memory, uninstall and now I can't install it anymore

Minimal instructions, downloading animals is required, but goes into endless loop displaying 'download complete"

Still trying to get it to work. Sometimes it makes a sound mostly not.

Have had this app many years. Update came through now can not "log in". Never had to do that before. Reset password says email doesn't exist. Try to set up new account says password doesn't meet criteria. Pretty sure everything has been done as I have been told. Guess I'll be deleting this app. Too bad no 0 star rating

I paired my phone (Samsung galaxy S10e) to the iHunt xbs started the app and the app continually quits responding or shuts down completely. I tried the other iHunt 600 app and it dies the exact same thing. I wasn't expecting foxpro quality but I was expecting it to work. Unfortunately I can't give 0 starts, 1 star insinuates its worth something.

Installs on my other devices running Android 5 & 6 but won't install fully on my Android 10 device. Installs and says it's downloading additional material but won't download anything at all. Paid for the full version previously and would like to use again if they could get it working.

Won't get past the install phase. Would be nice to get what I paid for. Thanks for the obvious answer. Already tried it and still nothing. Tried a different wifi connection, still didn't work.

Update....after customer service contacted me I have it all back. Excellent customer service!
