Absolutely terrible. Asks for proof of address but won't let me add a photo or take a photo. You click on it and it does nothing. Your app is trash. I tried it several times. So much for renewal online. 😡

Its amazing to have everything right at your finger tips.

My phone, a relatively new model running Android pie, worked great before installation of this app. I was able to update my car license tags with no problem using this app. However... After installing, everything else (emails, texts, web pages, Google searches, etc) slowed down and would freeze repeatedly. I was at the point where I was going to do a factory reset and erase all of my data. But... After uninstalling the iKan't app, everything is great again, and my phone is back to being fast and doesn't freeze every other minute. Stick with the website for payments, and avoid this app until they get the bugs worked out.

Hit & Miss @ Best. Couldn't proceed with payment twice. Later attempts failed because (even though it did earlier in the day) the app couldn't verify my identity. Get rid of the "chat-style" interface which looks like it was designed by a pre-teen, and make it work. When this is the only way to electronically get vital records ordered without paying for 3rd-party payment processing, it is nothing but a joke. At least add the functionality to your website since you can't build a decent app.

Worked well for me for a vehicle registration, and way better than standing in line! An e-copy of my receipt / proof of registration is easily accessible (w/ email that can be printed or forwarded to family), and it seems that if the doesn't support a service at least it has a link to the right govt site. Only 4 stars because it doesn't have good support for questions. If you have a completely uncomplicated renewal, perfect - this works. If anything is awry, I think you'll be very frustrated.

This app is great! I love the chat bot. It actually works. I normally hate chat bots, but this one works. I was able to find my car registration renewals and pay them successfully in about 3 minutes flat. I'm glad you changed the fee name from "convenience" fee to processing fee. Paying a convenience fee to make your lives easier always rubbed me wrong!

Horrendous app. Totally unusable chatbot in a mobile setting. Has required fields that are not scrollable, viewable. How large could you possibly need the text, your interface is set about two times in excess of that! Definitely dont make it user adjustable. (Shakes head at lack of user testing)

Lame that we are charged for the convenience of using our phones. I can understand CC surcharge I guess but the $2 just for using the app is annoying. Worked great for plate renewal, in a few years I'll update with licence renewal review. Has a section for vital documents too that I had no need of today but will update if I ever use.

I had two issues with this app. 1. I was not able to print out a copy of the receipt for the registration I paid for. 2. I never found the PIN number I thought I was to receive. All that said, the app was still very simple and quick to use. Much better than having to go do the registration in person.

No idea why these bozos are having a hard time getting this app to work, must be a user error! Worked flawlessly for me, I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I loved being able to renew online last year, so being able to do it in an app is even better. I definitely encourage this government/technology mix, because everyone hates waiting in line for hours at the DMV.

Oneplus 7 Pro on stock OxygenOS 9.5.10 (pie) I used the site to renew and wanted to go ahead and install the app. I used the Google sign in option to create the account online, but upon selecting the Google option in the app i see a quick screen change, then back to the sign in page with a "network request failed" error. You get two stars only because there website does at least work.

I tried to renew 5 vehicles and went through all the numerous steps only to get to the end and it wouldn't process the payment. When I tried to go back in all the info was request again. What a waste of time. I guess I will just go back in face to face. Ridiculous!

I downloaded this app to my Android phone and find it to be very unfriendly and unwieldy. It said my email address, which was already on file, was invalid. At a point where I needed to enter my date of birth and my D L number, the app would only allow 1 digit in the "day" space.... my DOB has 2 digits ! So I gave up. A total waste of my time ! Boo Hiss

Useless. Identity verification is fatally flawed. Asked my height on my DL. I looked at my DL just to be sure. Still counted as incorrect. Asked what corporations I've been associated with. List contained none that I've ever worked for or with. Counted as incorrect. If the identity verification is broken, the app is utterly useless as you can't order anything

I love this app!! It's so handy not to use snail mail which I did originally and they didn't receive it. Having everything right at your fingertips makes it so much easier and you have a receipt right away which you don't get using snail mail.

have spent the last hour trying to get on this to renew my vehicle registration and it won't bring the app all the way up just says installed and can not get on it. it is a waste of time I will just pay the extra 5 bucks and wait in line. this sucks!!!!!!!

The app needs fixed for renewals. I can't get the app to look up either of my vehicles although I have my renewal notice for them. The website won't renew either vehicle as well. I think your DOVbot has an issue. Fix and I will update my review.

Absolutely terrible app. I have spent an hour trying to order a marriage certificate. This app is like typing an entire page, then at the very end of the page, you make a mistake and have to throw the paper away and start again.

great App if you want to waste 45 minutes. It will eventually fail on you saying that they are unable to verify my identity even when I answered 12 differen questions. My daughter then tried and it failed on her as well. Useless!

This app is absolutely a waste of time, which is ridiculous in the age of everything being electronic. One year tags renew though it and the next year the same vehicle is "ineligible." Just use snail mail!

This app works fine except it won't let me add my card to my account in order to pay my bill. If I can't pay my bill on this app then the app has no purpose. Deserves 0/5 stars unless this critical issue is fixed

This is THE BIGGEST JOKE of an app, EVER! I enter my info FROM MY CURRENT, VALID DL, I have a REALID, and it tells me "Invalid Drivers License Info" I SHOULD BE ABLE TO RENEW ONLINE, and due to this JOKE of an app, I CAN'T!!!!!! If I could give 0 stars, I MOST DEFINITELY WOULD!!!!

Great until it came to other devices for app to be loaded on. No place to update info so consequently registration is not on my current phone, leaving no way to produce registration to law enforcement if requested.

Best government experience I've ever had. From the time I clicked the link on my phone which sent me to the app store to when I had my tags paid for and renewed took less than 5 min. Very easy

Who came up with this awful chatbot idea? Why can't I just login, verify the list of vehicles is correct, and pay my bill? Instead I have to go through this painful conversation with a robot entering pin numbers and plate numbers and answering NO I DON'T WANT A PARK PERMIT on every single one before finally entering in my payment info. Between my wife and kids I have five cars to do this for every year and I'm about to go back to just standing in line at the tag office rather than deal with this app. You already know what vehicles I own . . . just show me what's due and let me pay it.

I spent over 3 hours during 2 days trying to renew my vehicle tags, after a lot of frustration I did find the right form and then it was easy to renew the tags. Need better directions on how to get to the right place, this is a very hard web site to navigate

I downloaded this app and used it then forgot about it. One morning Google notified me that this app had activated and used my camera at around six in the morning. Why do you people need to activate and use my camera? What could your app for renewing my tags possibly need need camera access for? What, exactly, were you using my camera for? I uninstalled it. I will never use it again.

App crashes every single time after I type in my payment method or address. And to make it worse the app is the only way to order vital records

They will not ship your tags to right address despite the correct address on drivers license. There is no point using this app. Double work and inconvenience

The app was easy to use, I just renewed my vehicle registration. However, a few days later I get a notification that iKan is using camera in the background, when I did NOT authorize this permission.
