I love this app and depend on it for work and for play as I am a wind junkie. I like to sail, kite board, kite surf and wing foil. When the wind is up, I want to be on the water either playing or teaching. The first thing I do in the morning is check the current wind and the forecast at ikitesurf. I book or cancel lessens according to these readings. All throughout the day I check the conditions, even at the beach. For the last 20 years I have been using every imaginable forecast and I check them for accuracy against the current conditions. Ikitesurf is the most accurate, period. When you call my shop to ask about the wind, I'm going to be giving you readings from Ikitesurf. If you need to know about the wind anywhere in the world, there is no need to search who to call for the wind report, just download this app! You need to be at the beach when the wind is up! I'l see you on the water.
Totally Frustrating .. ....bot a new phone. Redownloaded all my apps but when it came to my ikitesurf app. I've been trying to download for 4 hours. Totally unacceptable. Still cant download.....still cant use my premium account.
Good app, still have ads even after paying. If I pay for an app I don't want to see ads, please remove them for pro users.
It keeps asking for a login when I'm already logged in. Interface is janky at best which is too bad because underlying forecasts are great.
often problems with the site, doesn't remember settings, constantly requesting credentials, often inaccurate and structured incoherent.
Shows ads even for paying subscribers :( only options are to show more or fewer ads.
Live wind bug of not loading because of something related to Google maps is fixed on my pixel XL .

Maximizes my days on the water
This app, and the associated company, continues to be my go to source for wind forecasts throughout the various countries I have visited. Their costumer service is excellent as well, which can be a non-exestent with some app creators.
Ikitesurf is the best forcasting tool out there. If you want to predict the wind you got to have it.
Ikitesurf has exclusive weather stations that nobody else has... And they are by far the best I've ever seen!
Since the most recent update, the app is crashing almost every time I use it. Samsung S8. Besides that, A must have for any windsports enthusiast :)
Necessary if you are in to windsports but terribly glitchy. I would buy the pro version if it was halfway decent. Forecasts only update every 6 hours and there is a two hour lag and often won't open at all for no apparent reason.
Great app before new update. Kept crashing when opening app on a Sony XZ premium. Reinstalled the app, now it doesn't show forecast. What happened?

doesnt work properly with weak mobile network, time out may be set to low. I get a 'no connection' error after 1sek, although I have internet ( it just would take a bit longer but the app doesnt try), wifi works but I need to use the app especially when beeing on the road in areas with lower network coverage
Met all my desires, I belive the UI can be improved
After purchasing subscription I only use the Web browser version as it has the ability to expand and make readable. Also on same page it has tides and forecasted winds. App version is too hard to read and nonexpandable. I have Samsung Note 4 and even in landscape mode on side still not useable. In Maui we seldom use the app for forecasts as it will forecast 17 mph and we regularly get 30 - 35, we use it to compare to see if a lull is coming or dreaded Easty-beasties. Also will look at Ho'okipa for trend
The app is great, but lately they have made some stations exclusive to paying subscribers. And one station they indicate is down when it is not (COMPS FHP), and a nearby station was just made exclusive, possibly to get subscribers to upgrade. If that is the case, I will switch to another app.
