iLink

This app is trash. Sometimes it'll work and find your lamp, but others it wont for no particular reason. Nothing more frustrating than endlessly refreshing the bluetooth connect tab and having it tell you it finds nothing, while your lamp is already connected to the phone and you're playing music through it. Some people here are claiming the issues go away as soon as you give it permission to use the GPS, but why the hell would a Bluetooth lamp need GPS?

Hardly ever actually connects. I had mine for about a month, and things were perfectly fine. Now, it just suddenly won't connect. BT works fine for music, but I can no longer control the light itself. Only option I have now, is to flip the switch... and that's it! Apparently many other have been having this issue. Though I enjoy the product when it works, if ever... I think I'll be purchasing a new bulb, from a different manufacturer. Shame.

It's serviceable, but it's the absolute bare minimum, and there's always a catch to a feature. You can change the bulb to any color, but you can't always set the brightness of a color. There are a few preset light effects, like reacting to the audio with light, or a rainbow gradient, but 80% of the effects are extremely unappealing.

The app closes when I try to open the Music tab. Also, when this bug happens the remote loses some functions like on/off, brighter/darker, etc. The app needs more testing, I cannot use the music feature at all! The light change works like a charm but I would be much more satisfied with more presets and custom presets as well with some new controls. Has a lot of potential but seems like a quick buck deal unfortunately.

App does not work at all on my Samsung Galaxy S21. I see it on my Bluetooth list but when I tap on it, it connects but the app doesn't work even when my phone says it's connected. The only way to control my speaker light is by the controller that came with it. Music plays and sounds good but can't control music or anything else with this app. Nothing works!

Just got the light installed. Music connected and works great! However like many others I can't get it to connect to this app. Luckily I bought the option with the remote so I can still change colors but please fix the app! Update: I just figured it out for now. When I have the app open I turn the light switch off then when I turn it back on I immediately pair on the app and it found it! Working great! For now

For the folks struggling with getting the light to work with the app, make sure you have paired both Bluetooth connection for the speaker and the app (e.g "iLink" for the speaker and separately the "iLink app" for the light in your Bluetooth settings) then open the iLink app and connect through the app. Connecting through the app alone will not control the lights, it needed iLinkapp to be paired in the Bluetooth settings of the phone first. Hope this helps someone because it was driving me mad!

The app was perfectly fine but suddenly, like a week ago or something the app always told me that it is not connected anymore. The music funktion is still perfectly fine but i can't use the light settings anymore. I tried to reinstall it and so on but it didn't work and it also didn't show me the lamp in BT connect. I hopefully they'll fix it soon

If I connect to any other Bluetooth device, I am forced to completely purge the data in this app and re-connect to my iLink device for it to work. Very poor coding. Needs a lot of development in this area to improve functionality and user experience.

Its a great product when it works! The first one I received was defective. I wrote to the company and they sent another one rush at no cost. Didnt ask for the defective one... The second took me a while to get going, because of the lack of instructions, but its all like that nowadays, maybee im to techno dumb. Now it works, music, lighting, colors etc. A decent quality product for the price! Having it in the gazebo summer nights is great ! Very ingeneous product, no batteries to manage...

App is very lack luster. Music part crashes instantly. The biggest part is you can only control one light at a time. The ability to link all the lights together should of been a no Brainer. App needs a lot of work. If they can link the lights, that would be a huge improvement

color is less correct, choose yellow shows green instead, and accurate just for the out most ring, the color lesser accurate gradually to the in most ring. Newest version 2.6.3 force close everytime trying to play music, the brightness will not keep after changing color, it will switch back to the bright most. is there anyway to switch on both white/warm LEDs and RGB LEDs all together?

EDIT: music works also, you have to connect to set up bluetooth twice with the ilink app and with the audio. Love the speaker lamp so far! Led Light work great! Music doesnt work both on a samsung note 9 and an iphone 10. The app crashes. I sent you an error feedback through the app. Please help and i will adjust my review.

The lights don't have much range but the music still works, sometime the music makes crackling sounds because of the connection, but the music is still loud and good overall, the main issue is the warm color tab, I had it at first then it dissapeared, I really liked using that setting for my room, if I got that back again I would give it 5 stars

I love this app. I can actually use it with any of my other music apps as well as the light. I have 3 different phones and it works with every one and they all have mixer bass apps or music players I use to play music through the lightbulb speaker and it works great. Light could be brighter and sound is what I'd expect. Overall excellent app and product.

The light bulb colors can easily be changed with bluetooth using this app. However, the music does not play on my android Samsung Galaxy note 8, the app just closes when I try to select a song. I refuse to buy ITunes, so I hope this can work with YouTube or Amazon music.

The app works perfect, not sure why people here says otherwise. Ensure you read the manual, it's very straightforward to connect and use. Also bear in mind that folks don't normally leave good feedback when app works, they are quick to leave feedback when it doesn't work....just my 1cent(I am not related to app developers in anyway)

Didn't realize, until after purchasing 6 lights, that you can't control more than one at a time! Has option to rename lights so you don't spend hours trying to control each light, everytime you back out of 1 light control the list reloads in a different order, but it doesn't work! Just purchased these lights, and I'm SERIOUSLY considering returning them!

It does exactly what the video shows. To stream audio, you'll get better results using the phone's own bluetooth settings outside this app. Would like the ability to create one's own color presets, but hey, I only paid $10 per bulb.

Would be no stars. First one didn't work took it back now this one doesn't work as well. No music and only light I get is red. When I try to open music it just closes the app completely. Very frustrating. Spent 40 dollars on something that does not even work.

Light works great, has a few issues. Everything works but when I press music in the app to choose a song, once I choose a song the app crashes. Can't play a song from my phone. If I open in Spotify it works fine. Please fix the app to work from my library in my phone. Oneplus 5t and Samsung a70.

The app can be redesigned to be easier to use, the back button on a phone asks to exit the app rather than go back to the screen we were just on. For me though, the 'warm' option has disappeared and now there is no white option on the colour wheel so that forces me to use the IR remote.

I tried everything but the app is completely useless. I can only play music (through bluetooth) and I can only change the color of the LED by the remote, which has only 3 options ( warm, cold and RGB) I cannot haven the LED on for just one color except for white.

it has been a great app the last year or so till now. I have a galaxy s8+ and my phone will connect and play music but I can't turn. the light off or change colors due to the app not finding the bulb. very upsetting considering I use this app every single day, please fix this asap!!!
