I recieved a new iLive platinum speaker for Christmas. This app is required to set up the device. It drops constantly to the point it took me three painful hours to even connect it to the wifi. connection to Amazon has proven even more troublesome. would not recommend app or products required to use this app!!!!! 🤯 Update Jan 7.... App was updated in last two days and is functioning as advertised. previous issues have been resolved and device is acceptable. Hopefully it stays that way.
I really like this product & the potential it has, but I only use YouTube Music these days for music & it's not among the available supported services. Since I'm not interested in the other services & don't want music files taking up space on my device, this app isn't going to be useful for me at all until they update it & add newer services like YouTube Music to it.
We had a very hard time connecting our conciere Alexa to our Wi-Fi so we took it back and I went online and looked for options for routers for receiving the connection and wanted to add 2.4 to a 5-point routers. we are adding dual routers.but I went to set it up before the technician came over and the new Amazon concierge that we bought a week later set up right away immediately no problem to wifi and bluetooth. Love it prefer this over the Echo cuz we can take it outside
Can support please respond to these reviews and get the app working? I had our ISWFV387G connected to our home wifi from last year, but same song keeps repeating. I reset speaker to default by holding the mute button for 10+ seconds. I tried the entire setup and wifi connect process but now it won't even connect to my home wifi anymore. It seems like it's all going through the process fine but fails at the end. Since I can't get past the wifi connection I can't connect my Amazon account.
I purchased a new Ilive Platinum concierge one week ago and trying to get it connected. The app will let me connect to my Wi-Fi but will not go beyond that point it just sits there and says connecting . App will not connect to amazon account. When I speak to Alexa it says log in unsuccessful please try setting up your Amazon account via mobile app. After one week I am ready to put it back into the box and give it to Goodwill. With the experience I have had I would not purchase anything that used this app ever again.
Not sure if it was the app or the iLive Concierge but the device would say it wasn't connected to the network but would show connected in the settings. Tried different channels and SSID with no change. Emailed customer service twice. They replied once asking a question. I answered them and got no response. I emailed again and got no response at all. I just returned the product. Too bad too as they sounded pretty good.
This app needs some fixing. I tried to add songs to my favorite list, but no matter how many times I try pressing the favorite button it doesn't work. Other than that everything seems to work fine, just wish it had more options in the app.
The version 3.0 of this app was 4 stars easy. This app the updated version has not worked at all. Additionally third party Alexa speakers can now be updated to support Alexa multi room. These despirately concierge and under counter units despirately need that firmware and if they don't get it the app despirately needs to be updated to actually work. Or versions newer than 3.0 need to be removed from the play store.
Complete trash. Speaker says and shows connected to wifi but app wont recognize as connected. Unable to move forward with set up to google account because app doesnt function correctly. No alternate set up options. Total waste of time and money.
If you are downloading this for an item you got that uses this return it. This app does not work at all. On my app it wont let me connect my device to the internet which is a REQUIREMENT to use the device. All it does is say loading until it times out.
The app is not working. I can conmect.vua Bluetooth thankfully but the app never had a temporary wifi for me to connect to so that feature is currently useless. I read the written instructions, the app instructions, and even looked online at multiple sources. Still no luck.
I only bought this because of my deployment back in 2018-2019. Now I will say that once you figure out how to set it up, it works wonderfully. But after a few hours or so, it stops working correctly after a while. So a year without using it went by and the battery is awesome! Had it charged and didn't use until now. From this day, the same thing happens. So this is typically why this app(s) and speaker(s) will receive a one star.
Need at least youtube music as a service so we may use cloud play while streaming content on that platform. It's annoying to not have this as a feature and I genuinely feel cheated. If I could afford returning the speaker I would without thinking twice.
Setup was fairly easy but the app just keeps going to the screen to add a device after I have already set up the device. I can't go to settings or anything, it's very frustrating
This app and speaker are absolutely garbage. There should be a recall on all of them since none of them work and the useless app that crashes every 5 seconds that you need to connect to your wifi network.
no tech support, I should have known not to buy electronics from big lots, everything they have is clearance stuff that didn't sell , the platinum had a good sound but some of the stuff Alexa does for some reason this won't do, its connected and alexa is working, not sure why certain commands dont work, I emailed the company and no response, I have the platinum concierge
This app worked great until it was updated. Now it will no longer connect my speaker to any WiFi rendering the speaker useless. Stick with Amazon products if you want to use Alexa without having to stream from your phone!
Totaly useless app. Tried to connect to my IKBFV378. My phone says I'm connect to it via wifi but the app doesn't recognize that I'm connected. I cant continue forward with the configuration.
The application is pretty clunky, and seems to time out or disconnect. My ilive speakers have great sound, but are really difficult to use.
app keeps crashing! Will not stay open long enough for me to complete set up. this speaker is worth nothing more than a paper weight. please fix asap!
Doesn't work. It's that simple. Unable to pair device with phone, so I can't then pair with router. Worthless, and so makes my Alexa device worthless
If you get it working properly it works well but if you have any hiccups and have to re-establish Communications with your router there can be problems that are very hard to resolve.
Worked at first and now two devices will no longer sync. Search for Pandora is in the same place as login credentials so you can't search in Pandora.
So it worked to connect me to WiFi through my phone, I go and try to connect my amazon account through this app and keeps saying ERR_UNRECOGNIZED blah I've messed with it for over 3 hours in two days. done with this (#@(#*(*)
Connected the concierge with the alexa app. Followed directions. Everything was fine for months. Then all the sudden music just repeats the same song. No matter what station I use, it plays the first song all the way until the end, then starts back over. Repeat on Alexa is turned off so I know its not that. Disconnected the ilive, Disconnected the concierge from the Alexa app. Started from scratch, still having the same issue.
