Illustrated for Reddit

Featured as Hot and Popular app on Samsung S Suggest app catalog and Amazon Appstore
Illustrated for Reddit brings you wallpapers, funny pictures, videos, memes, news and more from the world's most popular user content submission platform
- Reddit.com. Every story has an accompanying photo that looks absolutely gorgeous on your phone or tablet. And with an option to download the image and set it as wallpaper from the app itself, you get unparalleled convenience.

While a reddit.com account is not required to access the tons of features the app offers, you will need an account to vote and comment on individual stories.

Illustrated for Reddit is the only Reddit app with True Card UI. So what exactly is True Card UI? While some other Reddit apps have the Card interface (similar to Google Plus app), only Illustrated for Reddit makes sure every card has an accompanying photo. Other apps display Photo Cards only if the post itself points to a photo (from Flickr, Imgur). Illustrated for Reddit takes any post, be it a news story from BBC or a status update on Facebook and converts it to a beautiful Photo Card, by identifying the most relevant photo from the post. We call it the True Card UI.

Illustrated for Reddit comes with a recommended set of topics that include pics, funny, videos, aww, cats, wallpaper, music, movies and more. You can remove any of these topics and add your own.

I just paid for the upgrade and the app STILL gives me an error: not found message EVERY time I try to post a comment. Also does not display most photos.

Used to be the best, now has full screen pop up ads that hijack the phone. Found a less intrusive reddit app.

A handy app that helps me get my reddit fix on the go. Somewhat buggy, but still good.

Great app that means i can just scroll through the pics whilst in bed. Would be perfect if there was an option to turn on a dark theme which had a black background so it isnt so tough on the eyes.

Crashes, freezes, takes forever to load photos. Bring back the old programmers.....

This is the only reddit client that does what I want. It's fast, pretty, let's me swipe to hide read posts, and has a nice card ui.

Its quick and simple

The top menu and ad bar don't leave much screen real estate. Everything felt cramped. Images are almost always distorted and blurry. I like the interface and concept but I can't look past the flaws. If there is an update I'll give it another go. But there are other, better reddit apps.

This app was great in the beginning, but the still present bugs, issues, and lacking features make it a dud anymore. I wish the dev had continued to make updates to the app and its functionality, but thankfully there's other, more capable apps to choose from.

Although it could be better if it had a dark theme, and having the pictures sometimes seems like not a very good thing.

Totally needs a dark theme and the pictures are distorted.

Was great, but now it barely opens without crashing and bugs out halfway through the feed, until you have to close it and start over.

A little slower than other reddit apps, but I understand that the unique look and functionality may cause this. Definitely still worth it.

Definitely the best Reddit App for Android. Well worth paying for. NEEDS a widget of some sort. Will get 5 stars when it does.

This is easily the best way to browse reddit that i have seen. The ads are annoyinf, but for a free app they are to be expected. I honestly cant belive how this is not the top result when searching for reddit

Big previews and full titles. Plays gifs. I think its the best out of most popular apps

Keeps crashing after going back from a YouTube link.

I created an account on reddit, but still cannot 'sign in' within the app. Please fix this issue. (Android 4.3)

Raf. R. May 7, 2014

Got errors. Need to fix this. Please.

Abd. A. Mar 25, 2014

It combined both features but it still needs improvement

Ada. R. Mar 6, 2014

This app needs at least one widget.

I'm getting Reddit posts showing up twice, and FCs when I hide posts sometimes. Some posts show image previews for images that are much smaller and therefore look very pixelated. Also, why have the images stretch to fill the window size?

Cli. F. Nov 24, 2013

Love the card ui, it would be great to be able to view the authors profile and see what activity/ posts they have without needing to open the site through the built in browser. Otherwise a good way to keep up with reddit.

I'm sure I'd love this app on a phone. On a 10“ tablet, it's so huge that it's giving me a headache! Would love to see a landscape UI.

Best app by far! Don't understand why its not #1

Cri. U. Nov 30, 2013

Great aspect and design , really intuitive and fast app , a bit buggy and some features from the main reddit are missing keep up the great work!

I can login to Reddit with other Android apps, but not this one. May be a problem with correct URL encoding / escaping for special characters.

Don't like the fact that the upgrade is an in-app purchase. Should be able to buy once for all your devices. If they want to make money later then should release a major upgrade.
