Since the last Android update the app closes immediately saying no permissions. I tried to email the developer to the email listed on the information of the app and it is not a valid email address. Went to look at the website but it seems to not exist either. Now what? I have 6 of these lights with no control over them.
Android pie (9) doesn't work since upgrading. Pleaee fix (Note 8). I've uninstalled, reinstalled and reset my lights by switching off the power on and off 5 times. My misses phone (thank god) has allowed me to reconnect and connect to the remote control (Android 8 - Orieo). but andriod 9 the app can no longer see the Ilux lamps when scanning. PLEASE PLEASE FIX..Thank god i have the ilux remote and the misses android 8..
App has some quirks but I'm not quite sure how it has such a low rating. Biggest quirk to me is that some colors aren't possible on the color wheel for some reason. The lights can manually be controlled to be orange via the remote, but setting orange in the app doesn't work as another reviewer noted.
galaxy 7 edge. at first the app found the light and worked well. the next day, it could not connect/find the lamp.Went into settings and made sure all permissions allowed, would not connect. re setting, re installing, different phone, nothing works. App is useless which makes the light useless.
Unfortunately, it worked for a year, and now the lights won't connect to my bluetooth for some reason. So now it still turns on but cannot change the colour or access the light through the app... it has been a few weeks. it's a shame for that price.
Had the lights for a whilw now, the app worked great and i loved everything about it. But now the app shows No permission when I try to open it. I now can't change the colour of my lights.
I've just got 10 of your lights and now i find the app doesn't work via Android!!! Even though the information on the box says it does!! Miss sold, very poor service the lights are useless without the app. Are you going to fix this issue or do i just send back the lights?
this app worked fine on my bluetooth 5.0 galaxy s8. now updated to a galaxy s10 which is also bluetooth 5.0. and the phone can see the lights but the app cannot. very frustrating. will have to buy the crappy remote just to get the effects that I want.
Out of nowhere this app now won't open and tells me there no permission. Reinstalled app and the same thing happened. Am giving app all permissions but still won't let me open rendering my light useless. 😒
No where near as bad as the other reviews state. Takes a while to figure out. Im fairly tech savy and after 2 hours, I have most of it figured out. Yes it works on Android.
Not working since upgrade. As others have stated says no permission and boots out. Lucky I have remote otherwise light would be useless. Please fix ASAP
Work good. No problems at first then app stopped opening and message says "no permissions"
The app work good however you should definitely be able able to chose the two or more colors the will light up not have pre set colors or only being able to have one color
Lights and app not bad, would be nice to be able to set an on/off time/ schedule. If i could set a schedule, would be 5 stars

You need to update the software. The App simply is not working. I bought 2 less than a year. one already already long gone with no light. I am thinking put it in bin and never buy any product from you guy. Do something!! I wish I could put no star and avoid it
It worked for like...a few days, but the bulb stopped showing up on the app. I can actually see the bulb show up on my phone, but not the app itself. Really lame.
Works fine, aslong as your some what tech savvy, only thing id ask for is spotify or external music player rather than mp3 files or microphones.
I would enjoy some preset effects or a more intuitive editor but all in all it does what I need it to.
finally got the app to work with iphone, app does not work with android leatest relase. i have s8 + and the app does not work. tried two different lights. only works on iphone.
It does work eventually but very buggy. Doesn't detect the lights properly and takes ages to connect
I really love these lights. And the program is easy to use... EXCEPT for one thing. There is no option to schedule certain colors/brightness/(on/off) for certain times of day. Thay seem to be a given. It would also be cool to have a proximity option. If I come close to a light it changes to my preferred color given the time of day.
