Image overlay & video overlay - Best Overlay App

This app is awesome and I'm grateful that it is free with only minimal ads. I use it to record a rhythm guitar main video and then overlay it with a lead guitar video and another overlay for the vocal melody. It is easy to use on your phone and you can set start and end times of the overlays and master the invidual volumes. You can add text too. Excellent work from the devs, thanks for this app!

Hands down, one of the best and a lifesaver when you're editing on a phone. easy to use and trouble free. I just wish it had two more features: 1) an option to return to the last project we worked on. 2) The ability to move the overlayed item without the need to touch it directly. with movement buttons on a seperate bar.

When I'm trying to overlay a picture onto a gif, why isn't there any way to crop or resize the gif so I can get the results I want? The same goes if I overlay a gif onto a picture. I can't move one behind the other, or even resize anything. There are no types of ways to fulfill what I plan to do here, no matter what I try to do. This is just a standard bland glue-it-to-the-paper app, and it makes me very unsatisfied. I won't use this app anymore until some changes are made.

Great app, very easy to use , if there is an option for overlay objects snap to centre or snap to grid feature like photo editors and zoom all objects including background so if we can place the corners correctly of overlay obejcts that be great.

Great App but I wish if the developer would make the overlays pictures or videos snap to the borders of the under layer, this would make the results perfect. That is why the rating is 4.

doesn't sync audio and video properly.. doesn't overlap correctly on the first attempt.. like i i have to cancel and then redo the overlapping then MAYBE it syncs or functions well

Absolutely fantastic app, does exactly what I want it to. You can alter volume, add music and video overlay at the same time, resize overlays, and clip both video and music. Occasionally the render fails, but only because I'm doing this on a phone without adequate resources. 100% great app, please keep doing what you're doing.

I'd felt like there were no such thing as free app that could put a video/photo on top of another video/photo for free, until I discovered this app. It's such an underrated gem, actually, I don't get the low ratings this app have been receiving. You can adjust the size and the start/end point for the video/photo you want to overlay. It is also FREE and easy to be used. The exporting time is incredibly fast. I'm stunned. Would easily recommend this app to everyone.

It's a pretty great app for what it does. Very simple to add video, then also add overlays as well. Haven't really experienced many bugs, except occassionally it cannot read a video file and the video appears as a still image. Processing to download the finished video takes a little long, but the quality is good enough that I don't mind the wait.

great apps.. easy to use..mybe next time overlay items can set to align with center or border (left/right/etc)

Just found this app and downloaded it. Is the pro version fee a one time fee of $5.49 or a reoccurring fee? Monthly, yearly, etc...want to know before I purchase. Thanks in advance. Will come back to rate upon your reply. Will check back in 3 days.

It seems to be the right app for what I wanted to do: put a video on top of another. Easy to use. Just that it's making my phone really hot and discharging the battery so fast that the charger can't charge enough. Maybe because I have 40gb video? FEATURE REQUEST : Auto draft saving, in case an in process video is interrupted.

Great and I love it. just got it yesterday and I have already created 3 videos I want to upload to YouTube. one thing though. please enable one to select a layer from a sidebar or something. sometimes if I want to select a layer which is under another I can't forcing me to move what I have already set(always 9 to 12 of them) sideways. This then makes the whole process so slow and tiring. please look into this and I will be your happiest client.

very useful app! it would be better if I can replace a face in the actual video with a different face and the new face stick to the new face where ever that old face is moving!

Good but I wish there was actual draft features so you wouldn't have to complete something in one go or risk loosing progress if you leave the app.

Pretty good app, works really well, but when processing a video, it heats up the phone really quickly. Could you work on that, please? Thanks. Another thing is that just adding two images to a four minute video took over 40 minutes to process. I would appreciate it if you could look into this and maybe try to find a way to reduce the processing time. Thank you.

Id there a way to trill the layout of the 2nd video to be overlay? The 2nd video is so big that it covered more than half the original video in the background. The available option only allows me to move the 2nd video around but it does not help to trill it to my desired size.

..Nice app,it does what it says, overlays images/videos. It would be awesome if more editing features like : split, unique transitions, blending modes, some unique fx/effects & more things were added in future updates,but still a nice simple app.—1rst star because●when I click the plus looking icon(animation)to add text, then pick from animated text(language) moving–my phone freezes&I have to restart it. —2nd star because●some of this app is in a language I can't understand, so I have to guess..

The video/audio overlay experience is broken. In the app I adjust video/audio to start at a certain time, then when I export the video the audio overlay is different from the way I configured it in the app. Broken algorithm. I'm an android developer and can fix it for $ Edit The feature is fixed and changing review to 5 stars.

I love this app, but I have a problem... When I go to save of video, I can't do that because say " file no exist" there are any solution?

The function is great, but the UI works against you. It'd be nice if there were a more detailed video progress bar that you could drag pictures or videos to a specific frame and timestamp. The existing system works, but doesn't exactly give a clear idea of how the playback will look.

Not every video editor has video overlay, my favourite editing app don't have one. This was the solution to my problem when I was creating my video presentation. Very useful back up editor at the same time saves file with the same quality but lower size (mb).

Which one is time should be less than video length - "00:01". I can't save my overlay. I knew something would definitely be wrong with this app (that it won't just go smoothly). And that water drop increase and decrease function in picture settings there, I don't know what it is for. 🤦🏾‍♂️

Hi. Can you please put an option where we can edit tbe inserted image overlay on the video. For example make it's size bigger horizontally only(stretch it horizontally only). In this way, the image can be adjusted in a better way on the video. Rest, the app is very useful. Thanks

I didn't expect to find what I was looking for but I did, thank you! I wanted a video to overlap another video and I like how I had the option to change the frame size, start and stopping time of the video in front! I would like however, to remove the frame border when the video hasn't started yet or after it had stopped otherwise it looks odd floating in the middle. I would also like the option to choose the transparency level of the video in front. Overall, I am very impressed. Thank you!

It's a great app!! It's exactly what I need, I usually use it to make memes, the only problem I'm facing is that when I overlay a video on a photo, and the video has a caption with it which has white background, the video processes perfectly but when I share it on whatsapp or upload on drive the white background of the caption turns grey. I'm assuming that's because whatsapp compresses files but I don't know why it happened on google drive it would be great if you found a solution for it!

It's so hard to resize a picture... it keeps locking and resizing.. it's so hard to control this.. pls , change it to zoom in and zoom out while rotating at the same time. It will be a lot easier....
