IMb Reader
- United States Post Office. It utilizes buit-in phone camera to capture and decode an image. Following information is shown:
* Barcode ID with description as defined by USPS;
* Service Type with description as defined by USPS;
* Mailer ID;
* Serial Number;
* Zip Code with optional zip code lookup;
* Zip+4 (Zip4) Code;
* Delivery Point;
* Read History
- store read result (image and info) into a database;
* View image/info
- view read information and the image image stored in read history;
* Email image/info
- email read information with the image;
* successfully passed USPS test database;
* Optional zip code lookup: Zip code lookup enables user to identify city/state of the 5 digit zip code;
* Barcode ID explanation as specified by USPS IMb Technical Resource Guide revision 4.1

Inconsistent reads. Save your money and use something else.
I use this all the time at work.
Tried to email support twice and the email address is not active. Wasted $10 on an app that doesn't work. Don't waste your money.
Does exactly what it's supposed to do. I bought it while arguing with my local BMEU clerk; it ended the disagreement. Worth the money.
Five stars on samsung moment but zero stars on galaxy s2. Force close every time. :(
Would give 5 stars if it also simply read Postnet barcodes. Otherwise pretty good if you have a steady hand.
It reads and decodes the IMB quick and accurately! No more going to the BMEU to see the MDA! I love that it shows the decoded information!

Works okay. Buggy coming out of settings, causes the camera image to not be full screen.

App works great. We process a lot of outbound mail in our letter shop. Great way to quickly translate the imbc.
The camera won't stop focusing. This was also a problem on the IMd code reader app from Atos. Because of this, it got two stars instead of one if there's a possibility the conflict is with the device itself.
I've tried several different UPU barcodes from different mailings and had mixed results.... Mostly non-reads. I know the UPUs are good because they ran on a machine that reads them. Not worth the price until the developer can make it run more consistently on its read. Hope to see an improved version soon. Stick to the free one until then. Phone used is Motorola MOTO G 3rd Gen.
