App doesn't work on mobile data or if you are connected to other wifi. It only connects to the câmera if you are connected to the same wifi as the câmera. I already reinstalled the app, changed cameras, troed different phones, etc... It has been like this for months. It is a shame the developers don't fix that bug. I am very disappointed.
This app has been down for awhile. At least if you want to use the camera without needing to be connected to your own home wifi. Clearly the app developer has no intention of fixing it. Server issue was the problem as I understood it. Avoid purchase of cameras that use this app if you wish to access it outside of the range of your wifi.
This app used to work very well. But I tried to set it up again after I moved and now I can't access my camera from anywhere but the LAN. One of the best features was being able to just see my camera from anywhere with like no config... I hope the dev fixes this or atleast tells us how to. Also the UID on my camera doesn't let me add it to any other p2p camera service. Only this app so please fix this 😑
App works well but has a MAJOR flaw. It downloaded videos in the background onto my phone without me knowing and absolutely drained my data. Thia has cost me a significant amount of money. There needs to be an option for me to prevent videos from automatically downloading to my phone in the background. This is ridiculous.
It was a good app. But now it only works when you're connected to your home Wi-Fi. You cannot use it over your Network anymore. That defeats the purpose of having it. Unless it's gets fixed I'm only giving it one star. Developers, please fix this app to work over the network again.
After a 3 month outage, the P2P servers are now operational again. The app should be able to connect remotely to the camera, but it does take longer than it used to. At times, it can take over 5 minutes to connect. Hopefully, this too will be rectified.
worked great until a week ago. now live video won't work and keeps saying offline. then it connects and then stops and says requesting service. very disappointing! I now have a camera and it's useless.
Just read the servers that Gang Zhang use are down which is why nobody can connect to the app. Did work but now can only see cameras on my mobile if it's connected to the same router. Hope they fix this soon
I can't connect to the camera After the last update when using the mobile data. I reseted the camera, the application, the wi-fi router, but didn't solve the problem.
Very upset with the January 15 2019 update. My camera wont go online now and it's very frustrating. I'm a caregiver to my mom and the camera is very much needed. I would give higher star rating but...
App doesn't work when connected to different network or data. it's working when connected to the same WiFi network with camera. The seller promise me to solve the issue within 2 weeks but he was lying so buyer protection can be over. He is not replying to my messages now
Well it times out while trying to add my camera I have tried probably 100 times to get it to conect but still nothing so I guess I will be returning the camera since it requires the app to change the settings.
Buy a Rubick's Cube. It's easier to work out. This app contains very little in the way of getting the cam it was designed for to actually connect. It's all too damned hard.
The background is always running although we have switch off. Data usage is a lot. Need to fix the bug
I got a product and this app very useful. Nowadays it does not work with mobile data for remote access. Supplier said that it is internationally off. But why? Can anyone tell me please?
Used to work ok.Now you can only connect when using the same wifi. This beats the purpose of a remote wifi camera. Even though I saw many similar complaints we are just being ignored
The option for advance configuration to set up camera doesn't show up!!! This is the 2nd camera I've had & I can't get a response from the company! DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA! WASTE OF MONEY!
i have had this for over a year and it onky connected once. i have downloaded all the differnet cams by this person and none will go past step 1 and then i decided to write the owner and got a not able to send message back. so guess it was a waste
The app is not always able to find the camera and the instructions are almost impossible to understand (in English). Spend more money and get something that actually works.
You can only use "remote" view of you are on the same WiFi. This defeats the purpose of the device. Contemplating on returning it .
After latest update you have no remote viewing from the web of your cameras only if you're connected to the network that it's connected 2 and it's a terrible update
Recently unable to connect to the camera from external network but connection from internal network is OK... Pls check if there is some issue with the connection to the camera from external network...
This app is no longer working! I even bought more cameras to see if I was crazy! Will not work off mobile data while your out and about!!
time does not stay set. usually an hour off have witnessed change sometimes within a minute of setting it edit 6-8-19 now thw timestamp on camera feed is gone
it worked in the beginning... but now i cant even connect it and keeps on telling me UID is invalid... and camera scan doesn't scan
The cameras constantly disconnect and attempting to log in is continuous. Now the cameras no .after how many times reconfigured, reconnected, etc they seem to no longer be able to be viewed remotely. I use to be able to see what my kids were doing no matter where I was. Now just out of no where it doesn't. No matter which way I connect the AP it only works when on same wifi. Which completely defeats the purpose of why I got the cameras.
