imo free HD video calls and chat

add games in call and should add this feature when someone answers the call and u all in the call want to add 1 more friend in the call but forgot that u have to leave and reat a group chat then why not add a add people button or sign for add so u can talk to multiple people at once without having to leave the call to create a group chat and only up to 5 peeps so its not full and i think u should where u can just sigh up with email because what if u dont have a phone number easier to use the a

The app used to work very well. Now I can't see the other parry in the call. When I can see them, it freezes. The voice breaks up. Not sure what changes you've made, however it seems like you may have fixed one glitch but created others. I've even uninstalled and reinstalled the app, shut down my phone and restarted.

The first version was better. It allowed you to add certain chats to your home screen. This one asked if I wanted a shortcut created, I said yes and I can't find where it is. I can no longer select no sound or vibrate only as an optional ringtone. I went to settings, unchecked the sound box, and it still makes a sound when I receive notifications. I just may have to remove it altogether if these things are not fixed.

This app has been the app I have been using for the past 2 years to speak to my boyfriend overseas, since it switched from IMO to IMO HD all of the sudden I cannot speak to any of my friends overseas. Very disappointed. This shouldn't be happening, and I would like a solution to the problem, so I can speak to him on here again without the app shutting because of an incoming call on either his end or mine, which is what happens with all other apps..

Come on IMO! You have one thing going for you and that's the ability to see the other person's typing in real time before they hit send. It adds an element of closeness that is missed in other texting apps. However, IMO constantly cuts off longer messages! Whyyy? You never know what or when it will happen. This makes IMO barely able to be used unless you know every message will be short. But that's ridiculous.

When they "upgraded" this app, they made it alot worse with changing how the video calls work. You can no longer text and be on a video call at the same time and it is constantly dropping calls. Also the sound quality has dropped alot. Would like to go back to use previous version but they made it so you cant use that either. The app has gotten unusable and worthless.

imo just got wasted. it can't read the contact list of the phone. its user interface and appearance were not good, chat format was poor, and got worse with whole page occupied by ads. it had good voice audio, that's why i used it. but i don't see any reason to have it any more unless they fix all these major issues quickly. looks like the number of users has been going down even before this latest gigantic problem.

Imo use to be one of the best apps for communicating. It surpassed what's app, messenger. There were fewer dropped calls, sound quality was fantastic, video superb.What happened is beyond me. No more contacts, calls or video chats. I miss it tremendously, when it came to my friends in other countries. Hope whatever the problem is; it will soon be resolved..

To those that Downloaded the new HD version, uninstall the last version app,And it will work just fine! I do love this app! Just 1 downfall , is alot of time when opening the app , it automatically calls people!!!! No joke!! Can y'all fix that bug other than that I would recommend it to everyone! The app is even better than my phone service!!! Especially when sending and receiving pictures!!

This new imo update is very bad! When I minimize someone , I can no longer see them. The app keeps freezing and dropping my calls. I have occasions where my screen just blacks out....what a pain that is! I liked the older version much better! Please fix these issues or go back to the old version. If not I will have to find another app!

while I can make stable phone calls using imo, I can never know when the app is working. Recent update has disabled the program. So, every time I open the program, it takes me to the "Update" page and I click on Update and without anything happening, the program starts working. Thus, I am not receiving any phone calls and keep getting Missed calls.

I switched phones and now Imo requires an American phone number. there's no selectable option to use numbers from other countries despite the fact that I was using this app for nearly six months before changing phones. now it's completely useless--and I needed it for work. if it's a bug, it needs to be fixed. if it's on purpose, then I suppose Imo doesn't care about international clientele.

It's a good app, especially if you have friends/family internationally. Very essy to connect, share pictures, video call. However, quality of calls is lacking and video calls are hit and miss. Still, better than nothing, and better then most other apps out there for international calls

After I updated the new one, I kept the older version to have my messages. The messages did not transfer to the new version and I can no longer access the older version. I had very personal and special messages on there and now they are gone! I'm very hurt because y'all should have done better to transfer the conversations and photos. Very disappointed with this change!!!!

Last update was both terrible and disastrous. It's so annoying that I uninstalled and reinstalled again couple of times. Every time I open the app, there's this big annoying dialogue box that says"download the HD imo app and update it" I did it that several times but still the problem is there. Please fix this bugs. The sooner you figure out this and fix the five stars I give you. Until then one damn star is fairly enough to rate you!!

Horrible. Whatever you guys have done to IMO, it compleley wiped out my contact list. I can't even add them back, although they are in my phone's contact list. My friends try to call me, and they cannot. They can't even text me. All my messges have dissappeared. IMO used to be the best. But ever since you guys have done that IMO HD update, this App has been awful. " -10 Stars" if I could, and it looks like a bunch of other people, after reading reviews here, are having the same issues

I had no problem with this app for months and then all of a sudden it started acting up. I used to be able to go off of facetime directly to respond to a text message while the person I always on facetime with could still see me. Also, when I get off the screen it will only let me be off of it for like 6 seconds. Other than that everything it fine. Please fix my problem though.

Suggestions please? My imo app is not working. It has worked for years and all of a sudden I can not caller text. It just exits the app all on its own. I have checked to make sure that the app is still compatible with the phone and the software, and it is. I have turned my phone off and on multiple times and have deleted and downloaded back and to make sure if it would work, and nothing has helped. What do i do

I've had app for few years. I enjoyed it bc my daughter has an iPhone and I have an android. We IMO all the time until I did an update and I don't receive notifications as a pop-up. I would hear it ringing but in order to get the call I would have to go to the app wait for it to load and hit "return to call." It would be better if the notifications would show on the screen again or give the opinion to turn them on or off.

Seeing that others are having the same issues to communicate with family outside of US...my husband and I can't call family in Cuba or Italy and lost contacts. There's no other version but HD. Why isn't this fixed? Updates and upgrades are supposed to improve experience, not go backwards. Bring back the old IMO.

It's good for video calls. Sometimes the volume goes down when another incoming call comes in. Other than that, I really like it. With the last update, you can no longer still use other apps at the same time and still keep the video screen active. I really don't like that part of the update ☹

video chat is substandard, usually very blurry.. interface is limited. way way too many useless, mundane stickers to sort through to find anything useful or pertinent. very limited and sporadic emoji and they deploy like stickers, on their own, not part of text where needed for emphasis. finally, for no good reason, all my conversations and contacts disappeared and no tech support. when I reloaded the app, my contacts won't appear from my phone and I can't seem to add them.

FIX YOUR APP!!! IDK why I can't change my number to my actual number but it just won't let me. When I call someone on video call, for some odd reason it doesn't go to speaker phone, it treats the call like its a normal call. I've given the app all the permissions that it needs to function properly and it still doesn't work right. I use this app to talk to my dad across the world. This is frustrating and very upsetting!

Everyone who has Android needs this app. Download now Update 25 December 2021: after 17 December, I've been getting alerts that say "file size is too large" whenever I try to send the same type of stuff that I always do. Does the app work differently now? Doesn't send videos as big as it used to? What's the limit here all of a sudden?

IMO was a great app. But suddenly a couple of days ago it stopped working. No more connection to any friends or family. I try to reinstall it and still does not work anymore. If would work again I could give a better rating. Update, I had put it down to one star since I can't get any reply from customer support.

IMO was the best app ever for texting, calling and video. Especially with my son who is stationed overseas. But once you were forced to update, nothing works properly and you have to keep updating just to use it and it still doesn't work right. So we just moved to WhatsApp until they figure it out.

I'm no longer able to video call my family in Jamaica. The app took away all of our previous conversations. I don't even have an option to add anyone that's not in the United States. I lost a lot of pics and memories. It needs to be fixed so that we can talk to our family in other countries as Imo was the best platform out of other competitors such as FB Whatsapp and IG.

I'm not giving it a 1 star because up until this point it has been a great app and I never got a chance to rate it, but now it sucks. I've had to uninstall this app several times within a span of 2 weeks. First, I wasn't receiving notifications. Now, I can't see my photos nor will it send. I tried sending one of the blank photos and for 2 days now it's been "sending".

Bad app! Always tells you to update it, even if you done want to do so. The quality is ok, but could be better. And the most strange thing is that there is two apps, one for calling and one for only texting. Thats so stupid. Give it 2 and not one, because you can see in real time what the person is typing and the quality of the video calls is ok.

1. This app has very limited function compared to Whatsapp Messenger or Telegram. 2. it needs a dark theme, as in white text on a black background, especially. I find it far too bright for outdoor use or for use in low-light settings. 3. It won't let me attach 20 MB PDF documents to send to my friends, but WhatsApp will. 4. Obnoxious unnecessary notifications about uploading photos, etc.
