Impartus Lecture Capture

This is good. One additional option that I would like: While playing videos of lectures, there is a picture on picture of the slides. On desktops/laptops this is fine. But on mobiles, it takes some space over the videos, and so cannot see the complete screen. If there is an option to disable the picture on picture, that would be great.

During ongoing class,we can't minimize or can't use split screen or can't be phone lock. Or else it suddenly exit from class. One more thing while in class we don't have control over our mic and video too, it is under control of lectures. Sometimes audio will glitch or echos. Video is average ok. Battery drains lot. This such a worst app I have seen. Don't use this.

Sometimes unable to access audio during live class. No matter whatever the solution is provided by the support/help desk, it doesn't seem to work. Once, our teacher had to end the current class and had to reschedule another one again as two of us were having trouble with the audio. Also while facing the problem, if we log in to impartus through browser it becomes fine. So PLEASE fix the bugs/technical glitches in the app.

The app is very buggy... The audio does not work in my mobile. Viewing the recorded lectures is also very difficult as the time taken to forward the content is very high. The karma points system does not work and my profile is also showing incorrect data( it shows that I have seen a lectures on a particular day for more than 1000 minutes). It is not at all user friendly and the home page also shows repeated content

Practical suggestions for better learning 1. Instead of continuing from the next slide of the selected slide, continuing from beginning of the selected slide itself would be meaningful. 2. Support for built-in Chromecast would be both secure and benefit the whole student community to learn with Chromecast enabled devices like Android TV who has issue with their PCs or not affordable due to personal reasons (Note: Since we don't have impartus app support for Android TV yet). It is less convenient to use. While watching videos it is in landscape if and only if the phone is tilted landscape and kept perpendicular to ground. Any change in perpendicularity in landscape it changes to portrait. So the gyration effect of the app is very weak. So make this control as a form of button not based on the gyration sensor of phone. I am using Oppo 5S.

Yes,I indeed have some of the few suggestions for you. 1)Pls improve the UI I mean graphics like the call ending button.2)While watching live videos in landscape mode the buttons down the screen will hide nearly 1/4 th of the video, such that if the teacher writes something down on the board we should turn it vertical to see what they have written- I mean while attending classes in landscape make a feature in which those buttons disappear after few seconds or after tapping on the screen.

For every 5sec playback, I have to wait for 10 seconds for the video to get buffered. Note that I'm playing the videos on Low Quality and am using a high-speed wifi connection with sufficient data. Also some videos end even before the lecture is over. I gave 2 stars only for the intent of the app and the help that we get.

App is dam good but requires a stable internet connection, but there is a personal feedback from my side is that. The recorded video's ppt sometimes becomes blur with several combination of colour on it, and the recorded video is unlikely to forward because for forwarding 10seconds it lags 11-15seconds. This app genuinely needs more advancement like.. 1. Forwarding and reversing of recorded lectures takes too much time..infact exactly equal secs which are going to forward any video. 2. A mini window always appears during recorded lecture and in turn make users to skip some content delivered by faculty on digital board. 3. It also gets hanged repeatedly. Looking forward the solutions of these bugs..

THIS APP MAKES YOU LOSE INTEREST IN VIEWING LECTURES I use impartus to view lectures from wilp Bits-pilani I had worst experience using this app. Viewing recorded lectures is very difficult. No option to forward in some views. Changing view in between takes video to starting.No synchronization between pen input, slides and video while viewing in full screen mode for recorded lectures. windows desktop app is slightly better. I used cisco webex previously which is 100 times better than this app.

When you unmute yourself, there is a 3-5 sec audio blackout before you are again able to hear the teacher. This is very annoying. I know several students are complaining about this. Also when i try to open a file (pdf or docx) from backpack, it doesn't ask me to open the file in which app or try using the default app for that application type as a result i am not able to access the backpack content. Looks like this app was rolled out in haste without proper UI/UX testing.

This is a very buggy app. Especially problematic when playing recorded lectures. When you try to skip by 30 seconds, it takes like 1 min to skip. The app also doesn't provide other features like the desktop does such as chat replay. Even during live lectures I get logged out sometimes.

It needs a lot of data. The recorded video gets stuck in between for no reason even though the internet is working fine. The backpack feature is good. Even the live videos have issues. Suddenly the sound will stop or the video will hang.

This app never works, not during online classes or while watching recorded classes even though your network connection is completely fine. It continuously malfunctions and hardly ever give clear audio, forget about video feature. And the help feature is so unhelpful and will never admit that the app needs to get fixed.

The recorded video lectures are quite good but the live sessions are waste of time because whenever the staffs try to explain a concept the video blurs or the audio will be cut or produce some sounds like playing guitar. But my institute keeps on teaching classes in live. Can't even zoom in. Thanks to magnification tool in android

I wish to add an additional feature, that is the learner want to receive notifications for the live classes. Sometimes I forgoting my class schedule and also I have to separatly set alarm for respective classes. Adding this feature may help you to improve your rating. Other than that it is good. Thank you

Last update is worst update because having audio problem always pop up coming audio disconnected. If any incoming call or outing call it comes out from that class. There many bugs. Worst app I can't even attend one class properly.. more network problem. My bro using gmeet and he is using same network and he learning class without any problem. So pls give new update or make some changes.😐🙂

One of the worst interface ever. Not at all user friendly. Doesn't load anything at all. Takes hours for the content to load. And the app just stops itself. It's not crashing per say but it's no different from the app crashing.

Lot of quirks in the web based. Sometime video drop, sometimes slides not syncronising , and the worst is that you even don't realise the problem as sound is there or the message are working ok. Surpriseingly, the mobile app , worked ok and then with repeated refresh, the impartus starts working ok again. Not a stable system as of now.

Most of the times there is no audio. App has too many glitches. Although my network connection is very stable app doesn't seem to work.

Most worst app for classes!! Always recorded lectures...Other apps are far better than this!😢😬😒😤....a I don't like Impartus at all! If we have to unmute ourselves, first we have to ask the teacher for unmuting..otherwise only chat! And when I installed this app, I was having a lot of problem! I was not able to hear anyone! And cuz of that I had to leave the classes!! Don't install!😬😤

Worst application doesn't work properly ...screen goes blank every time ...u need to refresh every minute... It is not because of low bandwidth Mr developer...i clearly mentioned that the screen goes blank it does not buffer...and i am not the only person facing the same issue all my classmates are too...we have to close and join again ever minute!!!same issue goes for the website too.. pathetic

App is good. But there is no option to minimize one of the two screen in which one is occupying major portion on bottom left. It stops visibility of the main full screen content. The option is available on web view but not here. :(

App is average, so many gliches here and there but my major concern is "No option to hide chat window in Landscape mode and no resizing option for chat window" Also no full screen mode. These things are very crucial from student point of view, who is attending class on the go.

It's looking so good in this pandemic period, but the problem is that it always refers some problems regarding login credentials. It always refer that (Only one device will connect at one time), since there is no device other than the user mobile is login but I also delete the app in other mobile even though Iam suffering from same troubleshoot error.

No PiP (picture in picture) like Webex App. When you multitask and switch to another app, it doesn't minimize like Webex. Instead neither the audio or video continues. What's more, the user has to rejoin the lecture all over again.

It is a better virtual classroom platform I have ever seen. Which provides a better experience of online learning along with recorded lectures of high resolutions and sound. Moreover it also provides the notes and study material without using our phone storage. So, it is a best online learning platform according to my perspective. Thank you 🙏🙏.
