Imperial Palaces Guide
“Palaces Guide” App provides photographs related to the audio tours featured in the app: the Imperial Palace, the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace, and the Kyoto Imperial Palace. After downloading the app, users select a language and then choose from the three tours displayed on screen. This will display a map of the tour area and the audio guide points. If the app is allowed access to a device’s GPS functionality, the app will notify users when they approach a location for which commentary is available, and will show the users where they are on the map and audio commentary locations nearby.

Great app that introduced the history of the palace as long as long as you can get it working! Recommended to use it with 4G cellular network.
yeah pretty decent, British guy for most of it. giving it a 4 stars cos it takes a while to download and some of it has an american voiceover rip
Clunky and constantly needs to download. Fails to download data in the background.
The tour guide was very helpful. Nicely made with good diction.
The app does not work
This app worked very well. The narratives could be launched from the map of the tour or just wait for the app to perceive it was approaching one of the narrative locations. NOTE: After downloading and installing the app, each of the tours must be opened while still connected to the internet in order to download the content (narratives). This will take a few minutes per tour. Having done this, the app will function offline.
Why would you make this stream every audio from the internet as soon as a new screen starts? It becomes useless as soon as you leave the wifi area. This was a very poor design choice. I might listen to it again in my house later, but as an audio guide, this was worthless. Wasted my time.

terrible. buggy (blank screen on start). then it wants to download the whole guide (5% a minute) via my LTE. didnt want to wait. this is what happens when governmwnt comissions software.
