It is very kid-friendly. Even the two-year-old figured it out with hardly any direction. There are only three buttons, which makes it easy for kids to operate. The watch is also pretty comfortable after a few wears and comes in pink or blue, which seems to appeal to most kids—although I had multiple requests for black from the older kids.
The display box for the watch boasts many options which are not programmed on the phone for selection (BFF; Group chat; Translation, Schedule, for starters) and which cannot be downloaded independently through the play store. The GPS functionality seems questionable; we sat, unmoving, during set up and the watch put one of my children in my neighbor's house and one of them two streets down. The voice & text messaging and the call functions are user friendly. I am frustrated, overall.
They will take your money! I called to see about a replacement watched over a year ago, and due to the price I requested to have my service canceled. She assured me I would get one last draft. Well..... Fast forward a year later they have been charging me the whole time, and refuse to refund me for the year. I've been locked out the account unable to access it there has been no usage, nothing. But they refuse to give me a damn refund of 250$ Go with a different provider this company is terrible.
Even though the setup process is simple, it can take a little while to complete—communication between the app and watch seems to lag. I called iGPS customer service to help complete my setup and they were extremely helpful, friendly, and patient.
Just bought the watch, it was delivered less than 24 hours ago, and already the app force closes every time I try to call my child. Without using the watch at all, it drained the battery by 10% in less than an hour. Very unreliable, which is very unsettling considering the reasons for purchasing, ultimately to keep my child safe.
The app and device are a brilliant idea. The only problem is the app ALWAYS crashes when trying to make calls in-app. How can you have a near perfect device yet a terrible, untrustworthy, buggy app that crashes CONSTANTLY. The app needs a MAJOR overhaul.
I’m very interested to see what improvements are made with the new app, as that is my main complaint. Customer service was excellent, and the watch got the job done. The price is right, and I think the geo-fencing and eavesdropping features make this a valuable tool that can provide extra safety and security for kids from grade school to high school. Though learning and using the app requires some patience, I definitely recommend it to parents and other caregivers.
Literally never worked for us. UI is terrible. Customer service is one person who had an impossible job bc the app is so terrible. And everything has to go thru the app--can't call or text without it. Notifications also never work.
What an amazing concept and idea for a product. This provides me as a parent of a 4 year old a great deal of peace of mind. Had a little bit of concern about the setup of the watch but I called in their tech support and they provided me with amazing customer service, re-assured me that I had properly setup my watch and went over any questions I had about the functionality of this watch. Wish they offered a black band color of this watch. Will recommended this product to all my friends and family that have little ones like I do. BRAVO iGPS!!!!!!
The app is easy to use. Can locate family easily. Gives you peace of mind knowing where kids are at.

Do not order this product it is junk the GPS I'll put you miles away from you where your child is at the call feature works 10% of the time if that don't fall for their gimmick if you don't believe me do your research I wished I would have
Love having this for our son. He is 6 and not ready for a phone but this gives us peace of mind in case he needs something.
This is the best alternative to getting your 5-12 year old an actual phone.
hi just purchased the igps watch and activated my plan. having issues can you pls help i have already sent N email to support.
Our granddaughter has had this product for a year. The GPS functionality is abysmal at best; charging sometimes happens, sometimes not; amount of charge jumps from 100 to 50% with zero activity; and messages may, or may not be transmitted. To top it off, the latest update will not even allow you to open the app, only gives the message "Unfortunately, iGPS has stopped." (How does something stop that didn't even start?) Don't waste your money on this product, you will be sorely disappointed.
