For Adobe Flash-support, ensure that you have the appropriate flash-plugins installed and that your device supports Flash. InBrowser will not provide Flash out of the box, but it does support Flash-content.
Notice that Orbot is required for TOR to work. Orbot is made by the Tor Project and you can download it for free on Google Play, just search for “orbot” and download the one made by “The Tor Project”.

Loved it for about 2 weeks but since then I have problems. Started one time I signed into Yahoo through browser and somehow it allowed Yahoo to become default browser. I reversed this easily enough but ever since then I've been unable to set English as default language in any search engine - it keeps defaulting to Catalan and I have to change it every session. I also feel I'm getting too many sponsors or placed search results or at least they're ordered very different than when I brought we on other devices. And while I'm willing to live without Bookmarks, the browser sometimes terminates the session when I go to Notepad to Cut & Paste a URL. Too bad I really like the page rendering and speed is OK, but I'm going to have to try something else.
The only real problem I've had is that when you hard press an image with a link, inbrowser would not display the option to open the link in a new tab sometimes. It would instead have open image in new tab displayed. The run in background time limit also has too few options allowing only up to 30 seconds. Asides from this, the app does pretty much everything I want. If inbrowser had a built in adblocker too, I would be willing to pay for this app as long as its a one time purchase.
I LOVE this browser, but not for the privacy part (no one has access to my phone). At Wi-Fi hotspots I know I'm connected, and it's not just cached data from yesterday. Makes a great duo with hotspot manager apps where you have to agree to the terms of service by checking a box or tapping a button. ( I use the Straight Talk WiFi app, but there are other good ones also.)
I sent an email to the developer of the app. I have an S8. I was able to use it for a short period of time, and it was FANTASTIC in every way. But now when I open the app, it crashes instantly, no matter how many times I try. I've seen my friend able to use it. so idk if this just an issue I am facing. I've reinstalled it, cleared cache, cleared system cache. still it open anymore. I REALLY hope some reads this and get back to me with an answer. I'd love to be able to use it again.
The most recent version is not modern enough to load certain sites. No paypal, etsy, certain news sites. Please update it! I like this browser otherwise because it's simple, fast, and when you exit that's it- no leftovers running in the background or piling up to weigh my phone down over time.
Works well but has a few bugs like hide status bar option hides it right away but after restart bar comes back, after clicking the address bar the keyboard doesn't open (only opens after bringing it up on the website), and even when an auto close timeout is set the app often closes immediately when exiting to the home screen. Other than those issues, great app!
Really nice privacy/secure browser when. Used in combination with a VPN. I configured it to be default when opening links so I don't have to worry as much about questionable sources. Only complaint is it sometimes won't pull up the keyboard when I click in a search bar on a web site. Workaround is to click in the browser bar and the keyboard works.
This used over 1 GB of data in four days, depleting the sources of my TracFone. No other app came even close to using that much data. It claims that it's for your privacy, yet it goes to all these suspicious addresses in the background exchanging information. I went back to DuckDuckGo, at least that app doesn't go behind your back
Nice browser, simple settings (if you can set up most things, this follows suit). I dont know why the first review is having such a hard time with their area settings. They want Canada (Eng).... pick Canada (Eng). Also, where there is a setting for app language, open and select English... THAT easy. If you think this is hard, I hope for your sake you don't try to configure and run a VPN!!!
Without this app - wouldn't have many options for privacy. The pages with a lot of.elements don't load properly or quickly. I wish there were 'mobile version' or 'simplified view' options. Would also like to be able see the ability to add pages to homepage
In the settings I've selected English as my language, and everytime I do a search its in a language i cant understand. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, it doesnt matter what I do l, it never sets to English. Seems like many other people have the same complaint. The developer has tried to reach out nor fix the issue. Was a great concept, but uninstalling its useless to me if i can't read my searches.
One small, but really annoying issue!, when directed from external to InBrowser, like opening a link from fb messenger, this link opens every single time you reopen InBrowser. Another small issue, but not really a problem, a chosen UserAgent for a specific tab should be bind, not always set back to the default UserAgent. .... Anyway 💛 I love that browser. 👍
More and more, Google blocks functionalities in my regular browser, named "Browser" in my Huawei P30, so I'm looking for a replacement browser. And it won't be Chrome !!! I bought my Huawei P30 few years ago for the Leica lens, far before Donald "Dottie" Trump "pète les plombs" about Huawei, and I don't plan to change my phone as long as I make beautiful pictures with it. Whatever America says !!!
Works perfectly! Doesn't annoy you with ads or premiums, and instantly cleats history when you exit. It uses the Google search engine. It's definitely worth the install! Some people don't like google but aside from that there's nothing wrong with the app.
This private browser has what it takes to allow me to surf the internet incognito without leaving any web history. It is good to be able to browse the web without being tracked by cookies and "sneaky" trackers. I do not regard this browser as my personal favourite, but I would still recommend it to anyone who value their online privacy.
My only problem with the app is it feels incredibly difficult to get to downloads. What I mean is I can only find them in tje download section of the app, but after I exit they don't show up in that tab, and they also don't show up when I check the file-explorer. But I know it's there because if i try to download the file again, it says the whole, "file downloaded already, you wanna download again anyway" deal. Other than that there' s not much to say, it's a perfectly good app.
Love it so far, got tired of Brave crashing, and I like this more, although I wish there was a way to download stuff, cuz for some reason, it never works, just acts like I didn't repeatedly hit download, but that's my only complaint, I am curious though if you can't dl what's the purpose of the download folder in the side of menu.
Absolutely fantastic browser that truly keeps your browsing private. Thank you PIA this and the VPN together are the perfect combination. Easy to use, closes immediately and very user friendly. A suggestion for a feature would be the ability to hold a page open whilst switching between apps on a single use basis.
Edited 2021. Now down to 3*, keeps locking up and can't save files. Uninstalling and reinstalling has not resolved either issue. Chrome is still working fine in both respects. Original review: Almost perfect. I use PIAs vpn and this also helps slow down some of the data spies a bit.
Love it. I no longer get weird looks from my friends when they go through my phone (I'm a writer, so the things I search are often graphic and disturbing) Only think I wish would change is if it could go in landscape mode.
It just works. The end. One does not need to know how a car engine works to drive it. It just gets its occupants from A to B in safety and style. What the car is to momentum, safety and style, Incognito is to web browsing. 5 Stars. N'ough said. Tx Guys for making such a wonderfully easy and useful tool.
This app is AWESOME, it's very secure, leaves no traces of your recent activities in the recent app link on your smart phone. The only problem I have is that I don't see a way to BOOKMARK items I search for, other than that it's great!!!
After initial use, I've been pleasantly impressed! A quick responsive browser, which includes many options, including being able to dupe sites into believing your in fact using another browser. App will help shrink your internet present/footprint, & helps incredibly well against trackers etc. I can foresee this becoming my go to browser, Highly recommend, especially if you want to protect yourself from say prying damn governments, who collect our data, best complimented with a good VPN.
I would have given this browser three stars but it hasn't been updated in a while. It's a pretty fast browser but it doesn't have an ad blocker. If this browser gets updated and has an ad blocker, I may consider giving this browser either four or five stars, depending on whether or not it still performs as well as it dose on most of my devices. The only device this browse has issues on is my tablet (HP 7, running android 4.1.2) where most websites don't work properly.
