Only been using the service at all for a week, and started working more with the app the past few days. Easy to navigate and make contact with candidates. Not alot of time wasted being stuck behind a pc, unless I choose to, or if I am considering going further. This saves me hours per day on a single task. No complaints thus far.
The app itself works fine; I especially appreciate that it has all the functionality of the web site. One problem, on my Pixel 3 the app icon is not showing in my apps list and thus I can't make a shortcut. I have to search for it in the search bar to access the app. I don't know if this is Indeed's problem, Google's, or mine, but it's annoying.
Worst app ever. So bad. You get constant notifications of applications but when you click on one- it takes you to a blank page. Then you try to search for the candidate to see them that way and they aren't there. Not once has the notification taken me to the candidate or job they applied for. The functionality of the app is ridiculous. Not all jobs are displayed... I'm not even sure why you have an app if you can't do everything that you can do on the platform.
Indeed app makes it super easy for candidates to apply for a job. Like they say, "Apply with the click of a button". And that's precisely the problem for Employers. Candidates apply without bothering to read through neither the job description nor the qualifications and skills sought for. Majority of them get rejected straight away. But the job poster gets billed for all them! Though Indeed charges the job poster, the entire platform is candidate focussed.
The job posting process is very simple and quick with the exception of verifying your identity. I currently use an LG V30+ and the app will not allow me to complete a job postinf because there is no button or field to allow uploading front and back pictures of an ID card. There are boxes that say upload fronr and back pictures but no active field or plqces to actually put the files. This feature is not supported on my phone and I am very disappointed in this app blocking you from posting.
Super easy to use, it can be confusing that it's not called Indeed, but rather employer. I loved it. I was out of my office and could still hold interviews and look up candidates easily. I think indeed hit the nail on the head with this app. Great stuff.
Installed but won't let me login with Google as I do on my desktop... It just keeps on that screen and doesn't let me back out until I kill the app and reinstall it. So I've never really been able to use the app and it won't accept my login credentials anyway ....I suppose it's because I login through Google. I can't login from my phone in general--even when I click on a link from an email to view the applicant... It takes me to set up a new account screen and won't go past that until I put in all my information and set up a new account.... Kind of useless.
Overall very good app for the hiring process. Only criticism is that the messaging of candidates needs a complete redesign because it's a painful experience to communicate with candidates through the app. I had to use the web browser for that part. But overall the app is good
Expensive for the quality of candidates you get. Most applicants either don't show up for interviews or they don't actually want the job. The just got apply all. I also get applicants who don't realize we are located a long way from where they live. Account managers frequently want me to call them and upgrade my sponsorship or "fix" my listing. I just want to be able to post a job and hire as I see fit.
very hard to work with. if press back. it brings up rejected people but ideally i want to go back to the list which is reduced and only with new applicants. its not possible to leave the ap unless you force stopping it. also abig issue is that i can't see the message which i sent or who i sent it. they are not there on application. so why would you need it if you can't chat with new applicants.
This whole company is a fraud and a cheat. They set a time period for paid subscription but they still charging even after the period is over. There is no option to remove credit card information and no option to close account. FRAUD FRAUD AND A CHEAT!
The app does not load properly. Paying for the service does not guarantee that you will get employees. They recommend you spend $660 a month to get the best results. That's a budget of $22 a day. I have had some luck with hiring people of this app in the past when it was free. Now they give you a week of exposure and then slow your ad down.
Deleting messages on andriod is unavailable in the app. I have followed every instruction possible and cannot get it to work. Y'all need to get a pixel 4 and try this. Make it easier to delete messages, just click and delete. Not all the extra bull
Terrible app. they recommended I spend $189 a week to make my job listing visible which is completely ridiculous. I decided to do $70 a week which is still a crazy amount of money to spend for this app to make you job visible but I only went for 5 days because I didnt get one single candidate. Waste of time and money dont bother using this app it was a complete waste. For that much money I should have had at least one person at the VERY least.
Everytime i login on app, it always asks me "An SSL error has occured and a secure connection to the server cannot be made". Rest if i use it on browser, the platform is vey good for job seekers as well as employers. Kindly, resolve this as soon as possible..
Very user friendly n tons of options in further enhancing employers search for the righr candidate. As such, there are still room for improvements like: - Area of coverage to work (not limited to the list of towns that are available) - remuneration (whether basic pay plus commission etc) To summ it all, this app is tremendous n kudos yo dev team for creating this app.. Keep it up n do b safe in this trying times.
I'm impressed on how useful it has been for me as a recruiter to find qualified Candidates, I gotta say at first and for many years hesitated to try it out because I considered the platform too expensive and outside of my reach witch in a way its true if you are a startup recruiter, but if you have the money to invest and run a few job ads, then I highly recommend it, it's with 10x times worth. I get nothing but potential candidates out of this platform and easy to manage as well.
Indeed forcefully demanding charges, if anybody not taking any package. They are torturing them mentally and deactivating account also. Don't take any package by through your Debit/Credit card, they are automatically deducting amounts from everyone's bank account. Don't choose indeed for any business transaction. Otherwise you'll also face problems, as like me.
Weird rating. For me this app only worked once then stopped working. Nothing pops out such as ability to change job posting, applicants, etc. The web version works much better but is also glitchy. A very inconsistent app.
App is worse than mobile website. Not as easy to use as in a browser on a computer. Got logged out twice while using it, couldn't log back in the second time. I uninstalled the app 20 minutes after I installed.
Can view candidates, but will not provide any further information when you click the candidate name. If I have to access the CV and application through the email notification then this app is totally pointless. Needs a fix on this - destroying the decent name of Indeed.
Unless you are in the mood to deal with lackluster experience and even more lackluster company response, I would not recommend this app. EDIT: in regards to the devs reply. How about doing some basic testing before releasing? Or is it cheaper to continue to use the public? With the very basic glitches, I have second hand embarrassment for you. Seriously, it isn't that hard to download the APK to your own phone to test before releasing.
It's just ok. It doesn't work a lot of the time. It stays stuck on the loading screen when I open it, trying to get to my job postings. Even force closing and reopening won't fix it. So I usually just end up using the website.
Google Pixel 3XL: app notifies me multiple times about the same message, even if I've already read the message. Messages will stay in one thread for some applicants, others have multiple threads open. Lots of applicants respond to job posting once and never hear from them again. Not sure if this is an app problem or people honestly not responding.
There are other job apps out there and then there is indeed. Posting jobs is easy and surprisingly affordable. Im assigned an account manager that is patient and knowledgeable. The best thing about him is he talks to me and doesn't sale me. I feel no pressure at all. Wonderful experiences so far.
Definitely worthwhile and time saving. Get good responses almost the same day. Keep up your good work. the app has suddenly disappeared now in play store. Don't pay and purchase any promo plans. Use it only free.
Really great, convenient app! So far the only things that have been frustrating are that i don't seem to be able to go to my inbox if i don't have any unread messages, and sometimes when i read a message from a candidate the app won't take me to that candididates page afterwards, which makes it difficult to find them later. I would also love an option for multiple accounts to login to one hiring process, so multiple managers could comment on candidates and you could see who reviewed them.
