Love that we can finally check out a bike through the app, although with some stations it's really hit or miss (e.g. 12th & Chestnut). Also, for some reason, after viewing trip details, the trip history has scrolled all the way to the oldest and you have to scroll all the way to the top to get to the most recent rides, making reviewing really annoying.
Since Indego came to Philadelphia, my health has benefited from biking regularly. Customer service is friendly, helpful, and reliable!
Tricked me into subscribing and didn't refund me for 1.5 years of not using the service.
The service is unreliable. Stations with 6 bikes docked will say "No Bikes Available," the app constantly says "Error Try Again" when you try to unlock bikes, the station screen says "Card Read Error" with credit cards that work everywhere else, and electric bikes are often docked with zero battery left. If you buy a year pass, it automatically renews every year; if you cancel it, it cancels your pass on that day with no refund for the remainder of the year that you already paid for.
Nice novelty, but long term you are better off buying your own used bike, a new budget bike or do better than indigo with a electric bike which pays for itself after a while. Some operators are confrontational & money grabbing. Others are nice. It's money loss you can't get back by renting either way, so......no
This app is more do geared to locals... not tourists. This is why the minimum time you can use the bike is 24 hours. There is no per minute rate or per mile rate. Unlimited 24 hour, month, and year passes...clearly designed for local communities. As a tourist, I was excited to try this, but was left very disappointed. $12 , 24 hour pass... vs $5 ebike ride in NYC for maybe 20min...I understand you don't want too many tourists on these and not knowing the local road laws are so this is the way.
There docking stations mess up sometimes, and sometimes the bikes might be in undergreat condition "sometimes" but there customer services is absolutely the best! If you have any issues you'll see
It works. It lets you know where stations are and is usually correct in how many bikes are left. Unfortunately, it's sometimes wrong, so if there's 1 bike left, you might not find it.
This app works perfectly. Only gripe I have is that you have to go to their website and get the guest pass versus purchase it on the app. Other than that, it's very easy to use.
Pretty cool because i understand the premis, but ultimately difficult to register and navigate the actual bike terminals.
The app doesn't let you switch between pass types and there's also no way to order a key after you have a pass.
Excellent Experience i loveed the app it was quick and fast it was very helpful that they had people to assist you qith any problems i had or needed help with they helped everyone that i came with only two people git through with no problems
Nice app, but their menus and navigation could use more work to be user-friendly. I just end up using the website more often.
Cancelled my subscription and they kept billing me. It was very easy to fix, and I'm happy with the outcome.
The only reason i had got the pass was for a electric bike for my job but they dont tell you the electric bikes isnt apart of the plan and you pay way more for the electric than the regular bike and i mean way more like $40 a hr.
Smooth unlocking of bikes. If you're in town for a few days you can get a week pass for less than $10 with a promo code
Visited Philadelphia and the bike share and app was invaluable. we used it constantly and on the hottest two days of the year were able to visit everything with ease.
Great I love to ride these bikes inexpensive and fun! And worth the time and overtime!! You should start discount hours and more promotion!
Once I purchased a pass they started auto charging on me without asking my authorization. They don't even show any way to close my account.
this is not the app you want, its just a web view of the map, does not let you take out bikes you actually want the BCycle app
Very much improvement over the last few months
App keeps crashing when I pick a bike from the dock. Please, stop being trash.
I paid for a bike but for some reason it didn't register and I couldn't select a bike.
I havent purshade a bike yet, but i will very soon thanks for the oppotunity.
Ride times are very limited.
DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! I had one of these bikes stolen from me in Rittenhouse during a BLM riot and not only did they refuse to do anything but read me a script when I called them they debited my bank account 1000 dollars! In every other major city I have used bike share services in, for example Denver and San Diego, the bikes come with their own locks. These federally funded geniuses don't provide locks and steal your money after using your tax dollars. What a load of bull.
Sometimes there's problems with indigo, but never the app
The worst bike service of any city. constantly has issues of improper billing, stations not being accurately updated. system glitches, subpar condition of bikes, horrible customer service that has huge gaps of unresponsiveness. Literally every aspect of this company has issues and problems with it. Literally every part of this company.
