It's the only newspaper that bridges the mass and class readers. It delivers impartial news that caters to ordinary readers as well as the scholars. The premium subscription is very reasonably priced and it's totally worth it. While I would expect the app do a bit more (e.g., export news excerpts to notes, remove ads completely, remove sponsored content etc.), it is still the most reliable one for all the news, India and beyond.

I have been waiting for a year I guess now for bug fix where I am not able to receive notifications in my one plus Nord .Is it that difficult to fix this bug and let user have inconvenience ? Also bring back daily brief, I don't see any reason of removing it. Also mark timestamp on articles instead of displaying no of days or no of hours ago it was written. Edit : still not getting notifications, hire me to fix if your developers aren't able to fix in 2 years. Ughh.😖

The application deserves the 5 stars but I'm giving only 1 star because, after the last few updates, application crushes a lot. When you open an article, it opens seamlessly but the moment you swipe down, the screen goes blank. And this is sooo soooo frustrating as I only rely on the Indian express for latest news but from past 1 month, I'm not able to read anything. Please fix this bug in the next update.

App gets stuck on the payments processing page and payment always fails. Of all the places it could get stuck in it chose that one. Truly ethical journalism from Indian express. That's why I have 3 stars instead of just one. It at least saved my money.

The app is mind-blowing. Beautifully organised. No one-sided news etc. I love the look and the wide range of all that one can explore. Using it for years, had given it 5 Star earlier. BUT now changing it to 3 Star. WHY? - Simply coz I badly want pop-up notifications for the breaking news. Amazing app. Really really want this app to give us news notifications PLEASE? I promise I will change it back to 5 stars if you do so. PLEASE? THANK YOU :)

I have paid for the subscription of e-content and the e-paper for 2 years (probably the most expensive plan), yet there are ads popping up on the app. this is completely unacceptable. The subscription includes an ad-free experience on app. i dont know whats wrong with the app but if u aren't going to solve it, kindly refund my money.

I like everything about this app. I have already been reading the newspaper for some time, but in my village due to non- availability of the edition, I had to read the e-paper and l'm not disappointed. But there is one thing that could improve the app experience more is adding a highlighter within the app, which can help note down some important points. Please consider this and great app btw(Reason for one less star rating)..

REMOVE ADS FOR SUBSCRIBERS. ADS!! ADS!! ADS!! ADS!! Full of annoying ads even after purchasing premium subscription. Worst experience.Nobody in the world wants to watch ads after subscribing. TOI is better in this respect, no ads, clean and nice experience. Remove ads for premium subscribers. And work on enhancing the user experience. As of now, I had the worst experience with ads. I don't want any ads at all. REMOVE ADS FOR SUBSCRIBERS. Mailed feedback too.

Dear IE team, I give full five stars to your content but one basic issue with the app is bothering me. I'm not getting notifications at all although everything works fine with all other apps on my phone. I've already flagged the issue to your app support team twice but nothing has been done. Indian Express App is Heavy as its content, so makes me uncomfortable when it takes time to progress during the scroll down a page or move on to next. DELEATING 2nd time over due to this reason. TOI and HINDU apps are far convenient to browse thru.

One of very few newspaper, which actually does real journalism. From accomodating both sides of story to giving space to both criticism and praise for the government. I like this app so much so that, every time I open it, I end up reading more than few article.

I've been trying to subscribe to the epaper and premium articles. Every time I try to do it the page goes blank. Please resolve this problem. Would gladly give 5 stars but this glitch is irritating

Very good app. Thoroughly researched content. Good leader of media. One suggestion - In app, IPL tab, kindly provide plain results and final scores of present day matches in addition to fancy headlines. Also on fixtures tab, kindly show latest matches on top.

The worst of all the news app. The worst among the worst. No notification, no quality service, poor journalism, so many bugs with poor maintainance, unnecessary uncanny ads..!! Pathetic experience! "The Hindu" Is much better and provides quality news journalism than this money suckers.! All the subscription money went down the drain..! JUST WENT DOWN THE DRAIN.!!

Very bad .I paid over 2000 rupees for a all. inclusive subscription for epaper etc and I cannot access the epaper.I cannot complain as that detail is absent in their set up.i have hindu epaper subscription and it is very easy to log in. Very bad.

Overall experience is good. Content is also mature enough. But the problem lies with Premium subscription. Even after getting Premium, I am still seeing Ads and cannot access Premium Articles.

App is good but the main problem is we can not increase the font size is not adjustable as per requirement. In landscape mode we can not increase font size.

Some of us are from developing background. We can't afford subscription and so can't read some full article. Yeah, print media is one of the pillar of capitalism.

in my old phone i was getting notification and it was very good experience of this app but i didn't get notification new1...i changed settings nd also Uninstall several times but still not getting notification 😒..Hoping for good to fix this issue

I have been using e paper from almost an year and found the following feature could enhance the experience 1. Feature to tag and save articles directly from epaper. It would be better if there is atleast a bookmark option like the normal articles on the app. 2. Option to enlarge specific piece and probably have a different screen which show the article in more readable form. The current option to zoom in and out everytime is not very reader friendly.

I switched from The Hindu to IE and subscribed for several months, but stopped after a long time because of your UI not being updated. It is very difficult to read the whole page in the small screen of the smartphone. I requested many times to upgrade your UI to open separate window in e paper site to read articles like The Hindu, Hindustan Times and Hindustan Newspaper, but despite many requests, you guys did nothing.

Edit: Still no notifications. It seems as if you guys aren't even trying. Alright Indian Express, just tell me, what will it take for your team to rectify the problem with the notifications?! It's been more than six months and I haven't received a single shred of a notification yet! All the permissions have been given, the app runs 24*7 in the background.

Most of the important articles are not available for free users ! Subscription is not the only option. You can generate revenue by displaying ads. I hope chenges will be there is upcoming updates.

Everything is good with the app. Except the ads. Even after purchasing the subscription I have to see ads.

I have paid subscription amount of 1799. But I still can't access premium articles. Is there any separate subscription for premium articles and epaper? I wanted premium subscription and not epaper subscription. Is there a way to change it?
