India Satellite Weather
It is very well equipped with data caching capabilities and will never download duplicate data from the server. The downloaded weather maps will stored locally and can accessed offline.
This application fetches the weather maps directly from Indian Meteorological Department (www.imd.gov.in) and CIMSS [USA] (http://cimss.ssec.wisc.edu)
FYI: I really don't have control on the missing north indian region of some map types because they are provided by USA Meteorological Department.

The app is very good, even one can predict weather without relying on tv news which may end up in wrong prediction. Just one star less because of wind direction map does'nt sync correctly just like other maps, it shows wind direction around 8 hours backs, 9 hours back etc its not latest always.
It's just a fantastic app to know the current weather condition with medium probability everywhere over India. My hometown was being heated by the dazzling sun but the map shows a rainy and cloudy day. In this way the app fails to provide information with utmost accuracy.
Good Application. Get to see latest Satellite pictures. Can be made better by adding some precise comments reg incidents of interests. Like I feel there may be minor cyclone around Porbunder in the next 24 hours, but being a layman I am not certain. If certain bullets of this nature is added it will become a truly great application.
It's a superb App. I used to see the cloud cover in my many times a day. It is always updated and accurate. I would like to personally thanks the team behind it. Earlier I used to go to the Web and look for satellite image by typing on Google. Now it is very easy for me with this App. Thank You so much.
No proper images. It i s downloading directly from imd server so taking lot of time and data. With out any updated image user is able to download same image again and again. It is waste of data and memory. There is movement from one tab to another tab. No temperature and place based services.
Wind direction data displayed, most of the time, is old, from an hour or two to 6 or 8 hours, which is useless data because wind has a tendency to change direction in a very short span of time. Hence, display of wind data of just a few minutes to a max of 30 minutes is appreciated.
This was helpful for me to prepare for any incoming moonsoon storms, but it'd better if it was up to current real time. It's a bother to look at data of 4 hours ago. Overall it doesn't have much ads and is great.
Yes I love this app very much. What a clarity in infrared category. But wind direction not satisfied, not covering the Arabian sea and bay of Bengal regions, missing cyclonic mark, too much direction arrows it will confusing us. But earlier(before upgrading) wind direction category was superb. If possible try to get that type of wind direction column.
The satellite image and color composite image does not cover J&K region. Please rectify it in the next update. The infrared image and it's update rate is very good.
A very useful app. Definetaly tells the correct and exact geographical details. Really very helpful coz gives info bout the latest updates. Also thanks for such a brillant app. Feels like really having a watch through the satellite.
It is difficult to interpret the sattelite images.. not able to understand and know the rain, temperature and wind direction/ speed forecast. This app therefore requires certain minimum knowledge and expertise to analyse sattelite images. Not useful for common people
The app is really good, real time updated, , but one suggestion pls put state boundary in others options also like the first one, it's makes us easy to identify our area
Great work, keep it up. With the help of this we are able to forecast and plan our next move. Thanks again. Some improvement should be there like focus on india in all pics of application. Focus is out if u see. Otherwise it is good
Please update the app ASAP because imd.gov.in has changed their website... As a result INFRARED & HEAT MAPS and other features are not available at all from 02.01.2020.... Hopefully the app will get updated soon so that we can get smooth satellite images as always
A simple app to access latest satellite images from the Indian Meteorological department. Does its job efficiently and without fuss. One less star because there's no provision to look at time series images.
It gives almost accurate position of the System and the extend to which it affects various regions in its path.It also gives the intensity of the storm.Good work. Keep it up.

Very accurate, easy to use, simple and matches with current weather in my place - no variation. Wind direction is superb, showed cyclone formation in a very accurate way.
Very good app... But live weather infra red and all option image are storage by time and date....and your apps images are replace by the old image...but we want that old one and play video model like same weather radar app...
Extremely helpful with high accuracy. I have been using this app from a while now and it has proven extremely handy in giving weather updates. Just 1 suggestion, to put a better map of India like the satellite ones for rainfall predictions.
Good App, no nonsense, you get what you are looking for ... weather. Need more improvement, good maps and more options in language, atleast hindi must be added. Thanks and kudos to developer. Keep going and keep improving it plz.
this app is really good one. but i get few glitches, like on the tab satelite I'm not getting the full view of India and sometimes the infrared map doesn't refresh. using miui10. and if u can alert govt notifications
Very good app for weather. I have given 5 stars. Infrared map is not showing for padt 15 days. The best app for India in middle to Middle West to west to Austrulia in the East.
Some items of the app does not update as it required in weather app. The air circulation does not update for hours. The infrared satellite pictures as well as heat maps are posted in such a way that only those who have knowledge could understand it. It is certainly a general public app.
