Science and Technology are the main driving forces of the nation and fundamental to the progress and growth. So it is necessary that advantages of science and technology should reach all sections of the society through popular media of communication. India's mammoth internet userbase of 500 is split between 305 million of urban Indians and 195 million rural Indians -- all of whom need to be reached with authentic science and technology content. And to do so, the internet is fast becoming the most accessible and preferred media for content delivery.
India Science will cover the entire landscape of Science & Technology including Engineering, Health and Medicine, Natural Science, Environment and Wildlife, Children’s Curiosity, Science and Society, Agriculture, Innovations, Scientific Heritage, Science Policy using interactive and latest formats like Documentaries, Discussion, Demonstrations/Experiment Shows, Quizzes, Game shows, Science Fiction, Docu-Dramas, Specials, Biographies. India Science will mainly focus on India's contribution in science and Technology and will also cover the latest S&T developments from all around the world.
India Science is a bilingual channel in Hindi and English. India Science can be accessed on any device that has internet connectivity -- laptop, desktop, smartphones (Android / iOS), smart TVs etc. It will soon be available as a mobile app.
India Science is run by Vigyan Prasar, an autonomous organization of the Department of Science and Technology, under the Union Ministry of Science and Technology.

was pleasantly surprised after using the app.. very good collection of amazing contents which can keep you entertained and informed at the same time. Indeed a welcome break from ott apps which has painstakingly become predictable and boring mostly.. this app takes you back to the inquisitiveness of school days where we used to wait patiently and watch amazing documentaries in doordarshan . Highly recommended...
Love the app! The quality content available here are beyond my imagination. The only thing that troubles me is the lack of a speed controller for the in-app video player. Please add a speed controller so that we can enjoy quality content in minimal time.
Their is no separate setting available in app to set video viewing quality. Suppose to save your internet data you want to view every video on this app in 240p resolution then their is no such option available in app. We have to manually select the video resolution quality per video by clicking on it. Please provide an option for the same.
Simply an awesome application with lots of learning. Indian government has done a tremendous work by introducing this application. It will help in boosting up the knowledge of children too.

Can't download the app. Always comes and stops at 99%. Waited much time still didn't install even though my internet connection is stable. I tried cancelling and downloading it again a million times but it always comes and stops at 99% Pls fix i need to attend a quiz on it.
It's great but I would recommend the addition of some features,i.e., subtitles,video speed changer, 10sec back and forth option, like and save option.
Exceptional app. Kudos to Vigyan Parisar for developing such informative videos. The list of categories is varied and interesting. There are small videos too called shortcuts if you are short of time but still want to see something informative. Being a professional myself, I still learnt so many new things, about new innovations and applications of science and the great work our national institutes are doing in the field of research. I can keep going on and on 🙂 about this app.
It would be nice if you introduce double click on videos to move forward and backward. This function exists in youtube. It makes it very difficult to scroll back and forward when you're pausing and making notes.
Government forcing to learn Hindi via this app... Why I am saying here?? Every contents are in Hindi. no captions for other language and English also... Please. App developer team add caption in English
Overall this app is absolutely fantastic, infested with excellent topics and curious questions answered in an easy manner But there are some major flaws which need to be addressed: 1 absence of 'history' 2 absence of the feature of downloading videos. 3 no search history I hope these are addressed at the earliest
It is a good app hosting science documentaries by Vigyan Prasar, but there are certain shortcomings. The episodes of different series aren't arranged serially or even grouped together. Those should be hosted separately under titles- Taron ki Sair, The Maths Factor etc. You can also add download option for offline viewing.
All the meaningful & useful science data collected in one app! Thanks so much for this great initiative. I suggest the team to publicise this app through digital & print media so that more students can take advantage of it. People at large are unaware about its existence.
I loved this app. It's like water to a thirsty person. I am too keen to learn, explore and discover new things in the science field and know the world better and help humanity to progress in every way possible and make earth the best planet to live. And this app from the government help me to achieve it sooner. Thank you government, the team, developers, programmers
Can you develop this app for both Android TV and Fire TV stick? It would immensely benefit the children who can view these amazing content on their television set. Also, please enable the picture-in-picture mode for the app, so that videos can be run even in background (this has become the norm for all video apps these days). Please do these, I promise I would give 5 stars.
1. Add Languages preference (for audio & subtitle) in the video. 2. Add explore tab (All programs sorted categorically), so that user can easily navigate to what he wants and see list of all programs that he can watch.
Best OTT app ever for science lover. Very interesting content as well as presentation. Some suggestions: - speed options in video player. - 5 second forward by double clicking.
Waiting for an update which will enable to play video @ different speed scale. And also having feature to stream video @ different resolution. So, that data can be used efficently and as per user limited availablity. Thanks in advance 🙏🙏
It is the best app for science, but it has some issues while searching something it gives different results from what i have searched and always it gives same result for different searches please fix this. else it is the best app

I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO REPORT IT BUT YOUR APP HAS A BUG, ANDROID PHONE SCREEN GETS LOCKED DURING THE "LIVE" STREAM INTERRUPTING THE EXPERIENCE & THAT BECOMES VERY VERY IRRITATING TO AGAIN & AGAIN PRESS THE UNLOCK BUTTON TO CONTINUE WATCHING THE LIVE. 😔😔😔😔😔😔😔
App is great as all branches of science are covered under one roof with equally valuable information. I have one suggestion - kindly provide subtitles/captions to the video.

India Science is doing very amazing work in science and technology field i used to stay away from science because I'm a humanities student but when i started watching videos on India Science app, it increases my intrest and now this OTT app has been become my favourite OTT knowledge channel where I watch vigyaanveer, and other interesting Sci&Tech videos thanks for making science so simple.

A nice app with quite a lot of subjects dealt with. At random putting will not help, serialised way or gradual teaching by mass media, FM bands can be well used, I mean I have never heard or come across of this app being left to the teaching class openly. Radio or the app in print or electronic media, what is it doing there setting quietly? Please make good use of this lovely app .
