Indian Language Input
This keyboard is a native free and open source Indian language input keyboard application for Android mobile devices. At present supporting almost 15 Indic languages, this application uses fonts in Android system in both direct input (characters mapped to keys) and transliteration. Though support for Indian languages was already available in some phones, Android officially started support with Jelly bean (4.1) version.
Users can directly type in their native language to any app installed in their phone. An installation wizard is included with the app to ease the setup process. Any novice user can install and setup the app for their language easily.This app extends Android’s default keyboard and adds support for languages such as Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Nepali, Oriya, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Sinhalese, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu. The app supports any device which has Android 4.1 and above installed. Most of the supported languages have 3 layouts
- phonetic, inscript and transliteration.Do note that font support for all languages may not be available in all makes and models.
This keyboard requires Android 4.1+, and is developed by Swathanthra Malayalam Computing(SMC) with the support of DIT R & D Project undertaken by ICFOSS, Govt. of Kerala.

Very useful and easy to use.can type in any indic language any where directly.no 'copy paste .we can write in any language using the eng.keypad by transliteration or we can get any language keyboard by configuration.IT' s a wonder , we need not go to the app again and again for changing lang.We can shift from one lang to another simply by touching a Key.---'thanks, धन्यवाद्, ధన్య వాదాలు
1 would be better to have word suggestion in bengali. 2 cant type ড় ঐ in probhat keyboard. And there are some error in probhat keyboard. 3 in Bengali keyboard shift button missing on right side. I think should be on both side.3 how to write জ্ঞ in avro. Traditional way in jNG but জ্ঞ in not appearing.
A handy tool to use when your mobile does not support regional languages. Nice work.Loved this app especially the Transliteration section.But there is a small problem in typing malayalam as we can't type the letter 'r' as in car.Please fix this.Thank You.
Transliteration option works well. Please note the Da letter in Telugu InScript keyboard is typing a Kannada character Da - please correct this.
I need full version so that i could write tamil as well as telugu if u fix it i could give u rating i mean 5stars...
Pl don't install this for Guj font. It is not supporting. Mainly south Ind languages. I am uninstalling. Waste of time.
The letter ಡ has to be replaced with డ in Telugu inscript keyboard. Please change ASAP
Just installed it and was amazed at how easy it is to use. One thing I couldn't quite find was a way to show the numbers in Gujarati characters instead of standard English characters. Any suggestions? If not implemented in the current version would really appreciate if this could be incorporated in the next one!
Help me to communicate in my native, and other indic languages. This needs to be refined further by addition of language dictionaries of frequent and commonly used words to ease up the user experience.
gujarati & panjabi language is not enable so it is very bundel application for gujarati & panjabi language so, please set gujarati & pubjabi laguage पंजाबी, गुजराती Fonts लिखा तो है, मगर है नहीं। Improve it
After installation use "বাংলা avro" and "हिन्दि लिप्यनतरन" . will give 5 star if it can auto suggest words.
In my Huawei mobile there is not able to input Malayalam tamil and other language . Please configure it.
Disappearance of shortcut frequently stops functioning after restarting of phone.
I use tamil keyboard. It is the only keyboard I found easy to type tamil words all other apps are stupid and complicated. தமழ் மக்கள் இதையே நாடவும்
Great App. Matches keymagic on PC . please change tilda~ to something easier for chandrakala . ~ is reached poking three times
I need Punjabi font but i don't know why Punjabi fonts are not available on this app

If you Practice this keyboard every day. It is best keyboard for malayalam typing.

Old look , indic keyboard prime is better than that
Malayalam keys not full like if we want write arivu tha ra is not there & lha also not in the keyboard please fix this issue other wise no use if u including these it's great. So I can give 5 star thanks
