Indic Keyboard

In an attemp to modernise and experiment, they have goofed up with this Indic keyboard. I never sew such complexity with Google and team, the ui is so complex. I loved the old Indic keyboard. This one's so confusing and fuzzy to use. If wanted to make something new, then should have added a tutorial video.

I had the best transliteration experience in this Keyboard over the years. I prefer this over Google Indic Keyboard. Though Google recognises words better, this one offers superior flexibility when it comes to what you want to type. the nuances of language (e.g. dialects) are better expressed through SMC's App. Kudos to the developers. Please keep supporting this app. It needs to grow!!!

It’s very good keyboard but it’s be better if there present for fast writing copy past feature on keyboard as Google keyboard have, and other problem faced if I want write English/ Bengali both , then there fast sliding option hasn’t present with emojy key. Good keyboard but the only problem is that, while typing in transliteration mode (typing in english and it gets translated in hindi) it does not type few hindi proper alfabets like 'D' 'ड', when you want to write डर, it types dhar (धर), also instead of 'ड़' it types ध, if you want to write ' udna' (उड़ना) it types udhna (उधना), please fix this problem and get five stars.

Continues to fail often. Has done that for over 2 years on various devices. Is it not possible to improve performance? I would abandon the keyboard if it didn't offer such a wide selection of language characters. Thank you.

Best keyboard . No bug. Work Faster . But I can't use this keyboard because Clipboard , text editor is missing . I installed ridmik keyboard . When more feature will available than I will use it. And I'm Bangladeshi so I don't need other language .It's ram hungry only. Please fix it. You can release dedicated keyboard for bangla or you can add download option which layout we need, w.e can download easily

I have installed this Indic keyboard. It is nice to type. And also to type in Tamil (தமிழ்) is good. மிக்க மகிழ்ச்சி. வாழ்த்துகள். August 8, 2021 update is very nice. Especially TAMIL language also good. Thank you very much and all the best.

Good for nothing ☹️. After reading some reviews here I thought it would be useful than google indic keyboard. But it isn't. Uninstalled done hardly 1 min. Of usage. I realized that, For my daily works Google Indic Keyboard is perfect.. No one can beat google indic keyboard. Google indic keyboard is popular due to it's convenient features and simple UI.

While going through the app, I didn't find any option for the gesture typing for any of the language keyboards. Is this keyboard doesn't support that? I contacted via email regarding this, but yet to hard from anyone.

Hello, I cant stop the autocorrect in indic keyboard in LG, its works fine in LG keyboard but when I switch to Indic it autocorrects my text. Like "nee" to "new". Is there any fix, i disabled all settings pertaining to auto correct and all auto things. Not resolved yet. Thank you.

Why did this app need access to identity, contacts and media? The tool can be devloped without needing any of these permissions. Had it had not asked for these permissions, I would have happily installed it subeder this send to be the only surviving good Indic keyboard that usage Inscript layout.

Installed this..terribly bad..keyboard disappeared..could not switch on phone as I could not type out my password..went to 10 shops and finally could open phone with externally wired keyboard..google play must delete it

After 3 yrs of use of this and other keyboards, I can comfortably say that this is the best keyboard for Indian languages plus English. Selecting English, हिंदी and देवनागरी-Inscript languages allows for typing संस्कृत, मराठी, हिंदी along with English. फटाफट लिहता येते़ झटसि लिखनं भवति। बहोत फटाफट लिखान होता है। I can train others in 15 minutes, if they have learned these languages in school.

This keyboard is fantastic. I was fed up with auto correct and absurd word suggestions. This is what i really wanted and its easy for offline typing.

There is no option to resize the keyboard and enlarging the fonts. Please add the option to customize the size of the keyboard and enlarging the fonts. Rest of the things are good.

This is far more better than Google indic, I am using it from a long time. If anyone is looking for thashkeel (vowel signs) in Arabic keyboard, it is in full stop '.' key (long press it).

Why does it require Identity, Contact and Media permissions? None of these permissions seem directly related to the functionality of a keyboard. Removing the application for that reason.

Please, allow us to change its size. Keys look very small in my phone. I can't properly type. I just want to increase keyboard height.

This was my favourite app, but when i changed my mobile to Nubia Redmagic 5g, running android 10, I am not able to change to malayalam, in the configure language tab, page coming blank, nothing is shown to add new language ... please assist me because last 5 years I am only using this app. Regards Zaheed

This is the app was looking for a long time specially for hindi typing.it has same interface as htc sense input keyboard.but the emojis feature needs to be added in next updates.

Happy to see that "long press for symbols" is added. However, why the "Key popup dismiss delay" in Advanced is not doing anything?

Maithili script is there in language section, which is Devnagari(Hindi) in actual. If you want to add maithili script please check tirhuta script and add that in laguage section. Native of Mithikanchal will be obliged to you. If Tirhuta script will be added not only me but thousands of Android user will use Indic Key board. Thank you

It fulfills whole my typing requirements. But needs updation for OnePlus Mobiles. I am using OnePlus 7T, I could install the app but system asks for upgraded version.

Simple clutter free design and works like a charm. Supports multiple Indian regional languages. Best part is it open source. Good work devs.

Very good... Very promising while using Bengali - Inscript. But I didn't find Question mark and exclamation mark. How am I supposed to write without it? That's why 3 stars.

Problem with this keyboard during restart of mobile: When restart mobile with default Indic keyboard set, this keyboard does not apear for typing. Although it is much better keyboard for Indic languages

Worst experience. Inscript typing and keyboard visual is useless.

English Keyboard (in Indic) 'auto corrects' even when the same is off in Settings.😐

Full stop is missing in devnagri. its '।' line instead. first it was having '.' symbol. please add again
