I think this app would probably be worth it if you can pay for the pro version. However, if you're like me and can't afford to pay for it then the free experience isn't very good due to the annoying watermark and the locked premium filters. Please implement some kind of system for free users where you can watch an ad in exchange for the watermark going away and the premium filters. Edit: You guys get 1 star because it's clear to me that you're not going to implement the feature at this point.
The app is pretty useful and it runs smoothly, but I find myself uninstalling it quite often. my only complaints are that too many options are only available for Pro, and the glitter affects don't work well, unless the image is extremely bright, and you can't add more that one affect. this app has alot of potential to be one of the best editing apps for mobile though, keep it up and my rates will get higher!
Great app! Very aesthetic filters and effects, just what I was looking for. The only thing I would say is, it took FOREVER to save, I'd say it took about 10 minutes. It also took a long time to send to someone, and when you put certain effects, it lags like CRAZY, other then that, I would recommend!
I just really like the glitter effects, it's so 90s. The prices for the monthly packages are insanely high compared to the pro packs of other video applications, although it's worth it . The interface is user friendly ; though it gets tricky sometimes trying to add already made videos for editing using the app and not directly from my gallery. Indie I'd like you to make the video editing icon more accessible maybe by the bottom left or right. And yeah , the kindly reduce the price of packs.
I really like the app even though it force closes sometimes, but I can tell the developers are working to fix it. After you guys address that issue if you could add a hyperlapse feature or just anything to control the speed of parts of a clip that would be amazing! This is definitely more complicated but possibly letting the user store multiple clips individually but still on the same card/page then allowing them to stitch and cut as well as speed control would amass a lot of users imo
I hate this app. It's getting on my nerves so much! First of all, everything starts glitching and no it's not because of my camera quality- my quality is good but when I go in the camera starts getting super glitchy. Secondly, legit half of all the effects and music are for money. Third, when I try to put music I adjust it perfectly but then it just glitches if I put an effect, or when I share it then the music just doesn't fit it properly and it's not even the part I cropped.
I have tried so many times to save my video normally but it turns out long and thin like a banner (saw this in someone else's review and it was a good description). It's such a shame I can't use it because the filters are really good Update: Ok so I re-downloaded the app, I wasn't expecting it to actually be fixed but it is and I'm super happy cause I can use the filters now. Thank you for fixing it!
nice app, it has what you expect it to have, effects like indie, retro, vhs, glitch, etc. also has various types of filters that you can choose from. it has a watermark, but i dont mind it since its not even that big, and others still complain about it, i mean you already take ALL of the space on the photo and you complain about 1 small watermark, you can just crop it, and being lazy isnt an excuse, its just like 4 steps. great app
i just downloaded the app again and im so glad you fixed the exporting problem. im not sure if im the only one experiencing this problem, but whenever im applying some of the filters to my video, the audio becomes distorted or glitchy, but thats just when im adding the effects and filters, the video doesnt get ruined when its exported so this apps a keeper.
Fantastic app! It would be great, however, if the opening screen was not immediately the camera option, but instead a menu in which users decide whether or not to open the camera or otherwise load content to edit. A minor grievance, but in my personal opinion would make for more usability.
I love this app and all the options but too often lately photos taken are not saved whatsoever. Sometimes they are late to save which is ok, but taking a photo and correctly going through the save process which is cumbersome and takes time only to never have this photo is unacceptable.
Some effects and filters will cause the video to slow down and become choppy, affecting the video quality. Would be great if this bug could be fixed because I'm unable to use the filters that I want. Other than that, it's great. Thanks.
This app is great, but the reason Its a 4 star is because it would be so much better if you wouldn't put the watermark. Maybe making us watchable short add would be better if not wanting to remove it completely. Another addition that would make it better would be to be able to layer multiple effects.
i hate it. after you got into the app and click a few times, it will restart all over!! i haven't even start on the editing! i was scrolling to my photos to see what i can edit and it restarted. i keep trying to edit but it still does the same thing. don't download, waste of time.
I like the filters and the effects, they don't really fit with the style I have in mind. And everytime I want to take a photo or a video, an annoying ad played over and over again plays right before I'm about to take a photo! That aspect ruined my experience with this app...
there is no option for zero stars so I had to give it one:))))) the app won't even load sometimes ? most of the time it let's me click on which picture or video i want to edit and then it just crushes and tells me that app isn't responding. i've deleted it and redownloaded it twice and it still refuses to work. annoying to say the least.
I've been looking for artsy visuals for my boring photos, and I think the varieties that this app offers is insane. There's SO MUCH to try. I wish there was an option to only use the filter and not the frame (fonts and stencils) that come on the photo. But overall, it's still crazy to use. Recommending this to all my Instagram friends !
This app is wonderful! It has good filters and other features for both photos and videos! However most things like watermark removal and pro filters cost money, I paid for it but if you can't buy the pro version then I don't recommend this app! But even the free version is absolutely amazing! Love the app!!!!
I LOVE THIS APP!! For more than half a year I have been trying to find a video editing app for me to use which does not need payment on filters like Miami and glitch because I don't own a credit card and finally I found this app called indie. It is easy to use and many filters that are nice are available although I wish there was an option to watch an ad video and remove the watermark. I am seriously thankful for this app so imma rate it 5 stars. Try it out, you won't regret.
I really love this app. I think it's one of the best video editing apps there is. If you own a YouTube channel then indie is a must have for you!!! The filters are amazing. Keep up the good work!
Honestly i love this app so much, but sometimes when i try to put a video it like frozens, and when i out a laggy filter on it slows down or frozens too.I love this app but it should have more free effects, because mt fav is nostasy and it only haves 1 free effect and never got too see the other one. And when i accidently click a pro effect it lags so much, this things should be better. I think you should add nore noise effects!! And i will give 5 stars :)
I've been using this video editor a lot more frequently. It got tons of beautiful and aestheticly pleasing filters and effects you can choose from. I hope they can expand more the editing video aspect and can probably collaborate more with independent musicians like how Inshot did. They offer other genres like lofi hiphop electronic for us to choose from.
The app is all around terrible. Whenever I tried to edit onto a video it kept pausing over and over and it didn't play right. With photos, I just wanted to add glitter on it. For that 90s edit look. Literally like one sparkle showed up. I would give the app 0 stars if I could. Wouldn't recomend. Please fix this.
Effects are cool, it's not clear to me when they are applied and when they're just on show (so that when you go back, the effect is not applied). Wish that there was the option to not edit the audio too on some effects.
this app is a great alternative to prequel! i recommend adding a vhs effect and maybe a feature where you can layer more than one effect! the only problem is when i change the dimensions of the video, it slows down and becones choppy and laggy, which is really annoying. otherwise, great app!
Great app, many different filters to play around with but, one issue. There should be an option to remove the watermark without having to get membership. Maybe watch an advertisement of 30 seconds to remove the watermark would be helpful to non-subscribers. The app would receive more appreciation this way.
For reviews I gave 4stars for glitching. Second is it's very easy to apply the filters even with videos and photos from gallery. The filters are really amazing, and I had been using this app for years. Idk the ads come out of nowhere when I open. Now the proper best thing is we can apply the quantity of the chosen filters. All's aethestic which I prefer. I used this app for editing pics of kpop. Btw all's good now. I really enjoyed this app.
Very good app! I really like the variety of filters and fonts! I do have some things to say: it would be nice to have the ability to add more text boxes once a text box is added, it would also be nice if there were constraints when placing a text box to help the user know if the object is centered. Finally, maybe this will be a little too much, but it would be cool if the user could also edit the font effects!
