Infinite Chinese

I've been studying Mandarin for a year, and when I first played the game, I thought it was cute, but laughably easy... And then I took a look through the settings and found not only a hard mode (where meteors fall faster), but also options to change the pinyin to simplified or traditional characters. Together with the time limit imposed by the falling meteors, even the very basic numbers/color lessons are a great review for an upper beginner.

This game has been an engaging way to build some extra vocabulary I needed as a beginner, though I suspect it will lose its usefulness once I master its limited categories. I like that you can choose Pinyin or characters for the visual portion - I'm learning the sounds now, and I plan to switch to characters after that.

I love it, the only inconvenience: you can not save your progress. So if you delete the app, you change your phone or just reset it and reinstall everything again, you will have to start from the bottom to unlock everything again. At least it works as a review of all the content, but these days an app without a way to backup your data, it's just useless in the long run. Despite all that...it is a really entertaining app and you can choose if you wish to see the chinese or pinyin characters.

Quick lessons that provide a unique method of timing responses in the form of falling meteors. I am only in the numbers section now and it seems to only go up to learning countries. This makes me assume that these Chinese lessons focus more on individual word memorization rather than conversation or sentence building. Maybe I am wrong. Not that it is a bad thing, perhaps this approach shows quick mastery of the basics while helping to initiate a desire for more in depth learning somewhere else.

I love this ap! It's fun and easy to use. The only complaint I would make is that it's not possible to set preferences so that it will pronounce all of the words, or spell out all words, etc.. It can be frustrating to play over and over again without it ever pronouncing out loud the audio that you need to work on remembering.

It was going pretty well and I liked it at first but some of the words are not even correct. Like yes, the pronunciation is correct put the word is not. Like for example, the number 0 is supposed to be 零, but in the app it's not. Also the number 8 is supposed to be 八 but in the app it's different. I needed this app to pass my HSK and it is indeed helpful but it is just such a hassle to double check the words if they are correct or not.

~Completely Amazing~ This app is so good. I've already learned so much from it and I have only had it for a day. If you are in need of an app that can teach yiu everyday things that you need to know, this is that app. ~Where it Differs~ This app is completely different from apps like Duolingo and Lingodeer. It presents the information in a fun and interesting way. Apps like Duolingo are text-based and boring. What makes this app that much better is that you can switch from pinyin to characters!!

This is an AMAZING app to learn Chinese vocabulary. But it will be better if there are modes to choose from, like a vocabulary option and a sentence option. I downloaded this app so I can Learn mandarin, and this is my opinion. It will also be better if there is a Write It Chinese. This game is amazing but it gets a bit boring afterwords. I want it to be a bit like Lingodeer or Cakap (without paying Rp.100.000 +/-). The meteors are ok and have a good variety. Overall, this is an AMAZING app!

I have only just started and am enjoying it. However I'm having an issue which means when I pause the game and then click play it takes me back to the homescreen instead of continuing the game. If you could please look into it that I would be very greatful x

Nice app to learn vocabulary in an intuitive way (you learn the meaning of the spoken words and their spellings through symbols, not their translations). You can even choose to learn just the pronunciation without the hanzi. I'd have given 5 stars if there were an option to learn completely without written words, just sound.

Ads are a bit intrusive but they have to make money somehow, right? I have taken a chinese class for 2 years and The way this ap teaches is kinda slow and although I have not progressed far in the game, having just finished numbers, (which I already knew) I hope this teaches eventually complete sentence structures. I hope....

It is somewhat helpful if you want to expand vocabulary but not very helpful. It gets a little boring and isn't very fun.. Also, I would like it if you released the 'Write it!' version for Chinese

as a native chinese and english speaker, this app is great for vocal exercise and reading pinyin. but it may not be helpful for people who want to learn how to read simple Chinese characters or typing pinyin.

Very helpful for expanding one's vocabulary! Sometimes I get the same word too many times in a row, but that is the only thing I'd criticise.

Would be great, however I can't close any of the ads, and I am then forced to close the app and reopen to continue playing. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but the problem persists.

Could make the sounds a little more clear because red and blue sound the sane, I also don't understand what to do on numbers, but otherwise the game is great!

The used method looks very effective so far. But if would be amazing if body parts and feelings were added.

Great way to learn Chinese and its fun.with the ads they dont fully let close,so you just have to hit back button and it goes back to the game. Not a big deal.

This app is so much fun I also use the korean and both are really fun. It doesn't teach and make it boring but it's actually a very fun game that allows you to memorise it easier. I definitely recommend

All the infinite language programs are amazing 1) it is in addictive game form 2) as all good game there is an element of fun stress 3) this is a super learning concept ,excellent learning platform

Amazing, extremely helpful and great, haven't progressed very far just yet so I'm hoping it has full sentences to teach but other than that it's amazing

Creative and helpful for reinforcing what I learn in Chinese! Only one minor downside is the ads, but otherwise I am loving this app. :)

so far I am finding this an easy app to use. good for learning single words within catagories but not good to learn grammar or conversational data.

I can't seem to run the game properly, my screen keeps flickering when I try to play. I also can't see anything, it's all black when I open it. Please help.

Wah, this is such a fun app to learn a language! So far I'm loving it, playing it when I'm bored, not really when I'm into studying, but I still remember all of the things that I get to learn there. Really cool!

For me this helped alot with getting alot of vocab to quickly associate with the things. I don't know how to explain it but to get down vocab often not gone over in classes but needed for normal life this was great

I really love this app! It is super educational, but fun. I like to use it alongside duolingo, but it can stand alone as a vocab builder :)

Was working great the first time, so i upgraded. Now whenever i try it it does not play any sound. Very dissapointed.
