What is a Gamebook Adventure?

Gamebook Adventures is brought together through the efforts of passionate and avid gamebook enthusiasts. If you are familiar with the classic choose your own path style printed gamebooks then Gamebook Adventures will really appeal to you. Our aim is to give those nostalgic readers of old something new and fresh, and bring a new exciting experience to those unfamiliar with gamebooks. If you enjoy fantasy RPGs or adventure games then this is for you!

At their core, all of our gamebooks are compelling adventure stories where you get to choose how the adventure unfolds. Every section of the narrative concludes with choices that you have to make. The choices you make will alter the story, taking you down new paths and giving you new choices.

Occasionally you will be presented with a situation that needs to be resolved with some dice rolling. The gamebook engine lets you throw 3D physics based dice that roll and bounce as if you were tossing them on a tabletop. Roll the dice to resolve combat by pitting your character against a myriad of enemies. Roll the dice to see if you were able to leap the gaping chasm, or pick the shopkeep’s pockets. Roll the dice to see if you won a bet, or caught the plague!

Did you take a wrong turn? Or make some bad dice rolls? Then hopefully you put in a bookmark so that you can go back and try again!

This version just crashes out on any of my devices (Android 10/11) yet the version I got ages ago works perfectly fine.

This title blends suspenseful, funny, and generally clever storytelling with great gamebook playing. It's a lot of fun and we'll worth the small price. I have l ready enjoyed several classic Fighting Fantasy titles from Tin Man Games, but now I am looking forward to reading some of their other non - Fighting Fantasy titles!

You get your money's-worth on the sheer length of this alone at 900-plus sections! An entertaining time travel romp with an elaborate plot. Travel from alien future worlds to present day Earth and even a medieval fantasy episode as you try to fathom out how you fit into it all. There are some moments of awkward humour and it's written in Aussie speak but overall this is a fun gamebook

I was really looking forward to play this, as the game seems to be well designed. However, the app crashes whenever it hits the title screen, unless I delete all of the app's data (including my save progress...), rendering it unplayable. 1 star until this issue gets fixed, especially since I can't get the money back.

The game is excellent in terms of playability. I feel ripped off as I was expecting more content for the price. The story is enticing but to cut it off with such a lame ending is quite annoying. I mean I just finished lone wolf saga after at least 20 hours of game play with more content coming out soon and it was free. I got 5 hours of content with this game no equipment or use for the cash given to me when i start. All in all i wish i had kept my money and never wasted my time.

An amazing amount of story and text is here, and the plot is interesting. Technical issues hindered enjoyability a bit, as an inability to start the app at times made playing it a bit difficult.

Writing style 'iffy' compared to other tin man titles, plus way too many random rolls that can kill you. I'm afraid to say this is only average at best...

One of the most amazing interactive read that I have ever seen. It was just as good as the choose your own adventure books that I read when I was a child.

For some reason, every time I try to access the menu after the first time, the game crashes. Which means I have to uninstall the app, re-install it, find out I lost all my bookmarks, and start all over again. Refund, please.
