Infiniti Kloud - One-Click File Backup

Do far waste of money. Arrived today. Downloaded app. App says it compatible to my phone. Directions are useless. Can't get files to download.

Wow. This ended up being a big waste of money. I bought 3 of these to back up photos and videos on Samsung S9 phones. To start, the instruction manual didn't line up with anything that showed up on the screen - useless. The files seemed to be transferring, but when I plugged the drive into my computer everything was a mess and none of my videos transferred. There are dozens of folders, and the photos within each folder aren't related to one another in any way - they are all mixed up. What a huge disappointment and loss of around $130.

When I finally got the device, I was really disappointed that it would not transfer my phone files to my PC. The phone app crashes when I set it up to transfer. When I backed up my PC files, it created a senseless directory of hundreds of folders within folders six deep. There were only three or four files in each folder. It's like my hard drive was shaken up and files were spread everywhere, with no organization whatever. Very disappointing product!

I tried backing up files and this seemed to take ages. When I tried to review the photos all I saw were numbers {o5 for example}. None of the titled photos were shown and several appeared to be missing. I have no idea how they are compiled or computed. There is no search bar which will clarify them. Disappointed but I should try the technical support. Maybe that will help. The only good feature that I can see at the moment is the capability of inserting unlimited microSD cards of any value into the device ad infinitum!

I had a super simple installation. No password asked or given. Since I didn't want one anyway it's just fine! Everything downloaded as far as I can tell. SO FAR! I thought I had way more videos... I will have to do a deep search and find out why certain favorites videos didn't transfer.... ? Even though it took TWO months to receive the product. I am relieved that I have it since Google Cloud is being discontinued in July.

Very poor app. Instructions page supplied with device totally different from screen making it difficult to operate. I thought I had deleted all data but it still claims to have about 3.5gb still stored Can't work out how to change it. Spent a lot of frustrating time trying to work it out. I don't recommend buying it at this stage.

Got it to work after three attempts, didn't back up all files, crashed with I/O error. Would not recognise InfinitiKloud USB stick, uninstalled software and haven't been able to download to reinstall, keeps stalling at 33% download. Cannot reccomend this product at all. Will be returning for a refund. Have now updated the software to the latest version, seems much better. Have successfully backed up my mobile phone with the included usb c adapter. Will keep the product and see how it goes. 18/7

Very poor app. If you have a large number of photos/files you won't want to use this app. 10,000 photos at 1 MB each will take over 2 hours to back up, and app will not run in background even though I gave it permission in settings! App creates a folder for each photo, sometimes 3 folders deep! File mgr copy is 7X faster. On top of their home screen they should put instruction "Drag smartphone icon to storage device to start backup". No custom backup w/ phone, like specifying folder locations.

I purchased the flash drive because I needed to bak both a desktop and a tablet and this was advertised to do both. I was unaware that I needed to download an app for the the Android (my fault) I must have missed that info. I downloaded the app and could never get it to recognize the flash drive was inserted. I should have known after being unable to complete my purchase of the drive without buying a second storage unit. Hopefully some of you will be smarter and not waste your money!

Love it, works well ! Your questions are still cut off Update: After all, it wasn't your app that was faulty it was simply how it was configured, I just needed to change my phone to the landscape view, for some reason your config wouldn't allow for vertical. Thanks for the feedback.

Useless customer service rep. I installed the app on my phone, and plugged in the usb as directed. The app and instructions said that I would be able to select "IK" from a list of recent files in order to gain access. I never received that option. When I called customer service, the rep was useless. I asked for tech support or her manager, and she said they were unavailable. I spent $100, over 30 minutes on the phone, and countless time trying to do it on my own. Still not working. Waste!!

Tried it on a Samsung phone and it just keeps telling me to plug the USB in again. Tried it on a new Samsung tablet and it asked me to download the updated app and asked if the tablet was running Windows or Mac! Also, it requires access to your contacts before it will do anything. Why? I suggest they intend using your contacts for spamming purposes. Just use the supplied adapter to transfer manually to your own stick using My Files. The supplied stick and this app are a waste of time and money!

This app is cheesy. Requires email address & account to back stuff up. Why? Who knows. If you get the USB3 card reader and micro SD card, they each have a really long product ID that is required to enter. Why? Who knows. It started backing up then after 20 seconds it said to plug in a drive (which was of course already plugged in). I thought maybe good it backed up, but since app kicked me out who knows. So I tried it again, restarted it. BTW each time it said my desktop app required to be updated. What? This is an Android phone app. Whatever. OK so the 2nd time over several minutes it backed up several GB of pic & video files etc and took over 10% of my battery down. Why was it so quick the first time? It kicked out again saying to plug in a drive. Did it back up everything? How would I know? Plugged it into my PC and it backed up each file in an individual folder. LOL. Pain in the ass. I hope I can repurpose the SD card and reader for something generic and ditch this app. Galaxy S9 v1.1 Android v9 Kernel 4.9.112...

I'd give it a Zero if it was possible. This is a frustrating, horrible, Useless app that does Not work. It tells me I'm already registered when I have not registered and does not send Password Reset emails when it says the email is Sent! Nor is there any place or way to get customer support within the app. Useless! It makes the InfinitiKloud device Useless & a waste of money, too!

I feel ripped off. I don't have alot of money and I really needed something to back up my photos on and this sounded good. I didn't see all the bad reviews on the app and they are true. The same stuff happened to me. I can't get this thing to work at all. The app recognizes it and thats as far as it goes. This is so misleading. I am so disappointed and upset. I also feel very taken advantage of. I sure wish this worked like it said it was supposed to.

I would give this a negative review if it was available. Purchased 2 devices. Neither one works. Won't download the data, directions don't match what's on screen, says SD card needs formatting, no red tab to do download, no way to make this work. No way to select files Complete waste of money. Samsung wants me to save my files so CNET reccomended this product, only reason I choose it. Never had a USB so completely impossible to use. DO NOT BUY.

I have no idea how this app along with it's device ever got 4 stars. I am well versed in electronics and I spent a whole day trying to get this thing to work on a Samsung s20 which they claim it should work on. No Joy. I still have a open case with their support department but have not heard from them in over a week. P.S. Had trouble getting it to work with PC as well. I would look elsewhere for backup needs.

Diwnliaded app. Did everything sccording to instructions. As soon as I plugged into phone warning came up stating a storage device was unsafely removed and said I need to restart phone. 3 times in row. Instructions on the app are NOT clear at all and the app is VERY confusing. Customer service non- existent. HUGE WASTE of time and money!!!

Followed directions exactly. Plugged it into my Android S21+ mobile phone. Two messages, device connected and device removed incorrectly restart phone. Went through this 3 times, same results. Thought this was plug & play, simple easy. Why won't it work. I tried 2 SD cards same result

doesn't operate Neither device I ordered would operate with my laptop at all. I called tech support and only received a canned speech that has been documented in detail by other reviews. No effort was made by your tech. support to understand or troubleshoot the issue. Based on this experience I threw the devices away and consider infinitykloud a fraud at best.

I am not tech savvy. This is not easy to use. I am trying to reset my password and no matter what I use, it is too weak. If I try to reregister, it says email address is already used. If Intry to contact support online it says they don't recognize me. It's a nightmare for someone who thought all I had to do was plug it in and save my pictures. I am sad. And I was stupid and ordered 4 of these to give kids as gifts.

Total waste of LOTS of time and money. Bought 3. Looking forward to sorting my photos and gifting 2. Download DEFINITELY necessary. Instructions not compatible with what emerged on PC/Phone. Compulsory password. No way to get past it, even though option to remove. ENDLESS cycles of accepting then rejecting password. No password recovery email even though one allegedly sent. On PC chat for AGES. Total waste of time. This is the most disappointing product I've had in ages.

Absolute nightmare with this product! Doesnt work, doesnt even recognise log in details of my email to set up account!! Eventually Started logging in and it started downloading, then just stoppped. I have not been able to log in since! Should have known as not even a recipient in parcel when arrived, so cannot return it!!! Didnt want to give it any stars!!

INFINITI KLOUD Gen 2 Charge DELETED UNSELECTED FILES FROM MY COMPUTER! I thought the InfinitiKloud would be a great way to safeguard my pics. Unfortunately, that's not entirely true. When I clicked the pic's option, but did not select the documents, movies, etc, the my UNSELECTED items DISAPPEARED FROM MY COMPUTER! I didn't need long-term copies of them, but I did need to have them on my computer. But no, THEY ARE GONE! I am not impressed with this development. When I didn't select them, why was ANY action taken on them?!? When I see the backup folders, there is no date on them, nor can I label them; there is no way to know the time of that particular backup. I WOULD NEVER BUY THIS DEVICE AGAIN!!!

Best app so far! It's safe and reliable and also provide a 30 days guarantee.There's no risk involved The customer service is surprisingly good as most apps don't have such good service. The screen is very aesthetical and makes it very easy to navigate the app. It manages all my files-large and small in such a straight forward manner. It will save you so much time and money. The transfers are super quick and you won't need other devices

Takes a bit of tinkering around to figure out phone-to-laptop (and vice versa) backups, but I love that I can use this to watch my downloaded videos on my phone. Not as intuitive as I'd like it to be but I'm able to work with it naman.

It was and is horrible from the very beginning! Charged and shipped me 2 when only ordered 1. Now I have the job of returning 1. They did not supply a product key to activate. called and email to be sent and still waiting. I transferred all pics on device to see nothing! Where are my pics!!!! These are peoples treasured memories!! This is the shittiest product i've experienced to date! Now to try and find my pics! Do not buy this product!! Not user friendly!

I ran it on my android phone, it downloaded all my data but when you try and access it, it's invisible and won't let you. I then tried the flashdrive on my PC and the exe won't run either. Currently waiting for CS to respond. Hugely frustrating.

Short of some "diet" things I've bought, this seems more ike a waste of $100.00! I downloaded the app and tried to figure out how to use it! It makes me wish I had used the money on photo stick! It did do something, but there are no recognizable/recoverable pictures on the micro sd card!

I dont know how to transfer my data between pc and mobile phones. With this app, I can do it easily with the wifi backup. I rate 5 stars, but sometime the app show me plug out and plug in again. Btw, it is not a trouble with many benifit when I buy subscription.
