Excellent. Gives full detail for device components and status. Useful. Has a simple, clear interface. Needs no permissions. Uses close to zero resources. Free. No ads. That's my idea of ideal software. Nice going! Just try not to think about the author's point: how much info can be gathered without permission.
This excellent app is a great tool & a rarity on PlayStore...a suite of diagnostics & no bloat & No Ads I'm glad I'm not the only one on a computer or smart device that insists on using them without ANY distractons. 96.3% of my apps are free of obnoxious forms of advertising. I'm OK w/developers subtlety listing their products but full screen loud blocking ads, pop ups, scrolling banners, etc are evil. I'll contribute to developers or pay for ad free pro versions.
I think there are multiple ways to view and appreciate this app. It is completely free! It shows you options you might not have known were able to be modified. My favorite thing about this app is it shows (YOU) how much an app can access on your phone without (ANY PERMISSIONS) That being said, imagine what apps are doing with specific permissions. :)
I really love this app! Thanks for taking the time to create this. Can you explain to me what the "Content provider" scan is actually scanning for? Some of my system apps are in red and it says that these content providers may be unsafe. Would you mind explaining that feature to me? Re:Ok thanks for answering my question so promptly! And thanks again for your apps and your hard work! There are not enough apps like yours. Everything is riddled with ads and trackers nowadays.
Gives a ton of info about your phone, the software, all sorts of stuff. I don't know what a lot of it actually means but a quick Google search helps out. On my pixel 2 it crashes every time when loading the certificates test. In future versions could you add a button giving info on results of each test. Like what does the 2 represent vs if it were a 1 or a 0? wifi_p2p_state: 2 Cool app, look forward to the next update. ★★★★★
This app is awesome as far as it is what it says it is, but the information it can give you about your device is scary. It is apparent that it is just as easy to get info about ANY DEVICE as it was for someone to get info about a Windows 98 computer Update: three days after downloading this app my phone has started doing funny things like bring up apps that are not on my display, taking pictures of meand sending them to no-where, typing when im not touching my keyboard even responding in text l
Much better than expected. As a matter of fact one of the best apps I've ever encountered. Combine settings with an event veiwer and a run systems shell program style access and you've got it and a bit more. Most definitely need to send this teem a 🍻 or 🍕 or both. Whating for the advances in your work. Keep me in mind if you need anything testid.
Very interesting! Most people won't understand most of the many results it lists—but it does indeed show the extent to which Android OS reveals a device's info to apps the user has granted no special permissions. Developers, two suggestions: • Make your "Select test" and "Copy result" buttons actual buttons instead of text. • Consider calling your app one thing, not three (the title here, the title on your icon here, the title on your installed icon). Cheers!
This app is sensational! I have a suggestion or two, but NOTHING that would make it better in the way it informs or allows you to have insight about what's on your phone. This application is a TOOL and better than ANY and ALL system readers I've ever experienced. Thank you so much. Truly.
One of the most intuitive and skillfully crafted apps that I have come across in the Play Store to date that provides the rich user device information and capabilities which this app does. I was rather surprised to see that everything offered in the app required absolutely zero permissions! Well done to the Developers for creating a brilliant and innovative app that simply stands above any other comparable app. Fantastic work!
despite returning hundreds of pages of text when choosing all tests, (as i suspected) trying this app myself it returned not one single piece of personal info. the closest it came was a list of apps services, which is a partial list of installed apps, but for the other 98% of what is returned has no business being displayed here as its completely unrelated. my only guess as to why it is is that it's to scare non-tech people with the large amount. Save yourself the time and don't bother!
Really nice demonstration on Android. Although I have a confusion about the test results: the security scan gives the recommendation to "use encryption with non-default keys", how exactly is a user going to achieve that? A quick tutorial would be really helpful.
Not sure. But giving me food for THOUGHT..I'm sure if I understood even a little of the tech specs information about how the tests where coming back it was would open my eyes wide.. From some of my guess work.. I dont believe my phone is very secure and would LOVE to have the knowledge to understanding the weak points and what I should, could and is the best thing to do... and/or how to dodge or more like protect future phones and
Excelllent tool for andrpid users to get familliar with the ins and outs of the android os, as well as discover the ways in which you're specofoc phone model and phone carrier may be limiting access to certain options. App could do with an update to improve stability amd ease of use, but five stars anyhoo!
They most comprehensive lists of anything and everything about your Android device with no adds and no glitch's. Never hangs or freezes. Quickly responds to every touch. Runs on minimal amount of memory with no significant battery drain.
WoW. It's absolutely scary that an app with zero permissions have access to so much info. Didn't know that an app can know what all other apps are on your device and can read almost every device info possible with no permission whatsoever. Privacy is such a myth now. Android permissions are much better than they used to be years ago but we still have a long way to go. We should be able to control every single possible permission. Good app. It does what it says.
Information is useful and vast. Frightening vast, I had no idea so much was accessible without permission. Only issue I had was when testing ringtones, it wouldn't stop ringing until I restarted the phone.
Five stars because it does what it says it will. I did have some issues with the app freezing up sometimes and would have to close the app and start over. That was just a tad annoying. But the app is free and doesn't require permissions as promised so I can't really complain.
There is codes deep in your device you are not able to see. This app helps you understand what's going on deep within your device, leaving no secrets to the functions you may want to know about your phone or scripts. I read negative and positive reviews the negative ones are only the people who are not smart enough to understand what they are looking at or TO LAZY TO LEARN something new. Thank you great app.
Due to the fact that I opened it on one of my phone's, and therein. I found myself unable to connect to our WiFi! Directly after uninstalling it/this application. I was once again able to connect! IDK IF I DID ANYTHING, BUT I DO KNOW THIS. If I again think about trying it out. I will be sure to do a little research and be ready for anything; when I do decide to try it out on my phone again! Thanks for the experience_!
