It is good and easy to use it. The 2 biggest problems are: a lot of advertisings of the bank, when it's completely unnecessary, if i need a product extra either i look for it or i contact the bank. And the 2nd only possible in German language, when even the competitors you can select either the language of the phone or at least change it. When this will be change i might put the 5 stars

WAY TOO MUCH SPAM! INCREDIBLY ANNOYING. The way ING as a bank and this app FORCES their marketing material onto you is incredibly annoying, frustrating and sleazy and they have no way for you to turn it off. ING's promotional emails? No way to unsubscribe. ING's in-app promotional popups? NO WAY TO TURN IT OFF. AND NOW? They're SPAMMING my notifications with their irrelevant promotional garbage and IT'S CLASSIFIED AS THE SAME NOTIFICATIONT TYPE AS MY BANKING ALERTS, SO I CAN'T TURN THEM OFF.

I have N26 and ING and I can say that the N26 app is miles better than this app. I am actually really surprised that this app has such a high rating. My main annoyance is that every time this app is pushing some meaningless notifications, and I need to connect to the app to see what the notification is about. The other annoyance is that when I make a payment, this payment is usually taken from the bank account on the next day and in order to calculate your current balance you need to subtract

This bank force you to accept price hikes and supplementary conditions after you have signed a contract with them. The app will show you a pop-up where they don't even tell you hey are going to charge you extra. The app will spam you constantly to agree to their terms even when you don't use it. Never again ING

Generally, it's a user friendly and good app. However, for several weeks I can't set limits on stocks that I'd like to buy or sell due to a bug I suppose. I never received a reply after reporting this issue. This is unacceptable for a banking app.

App is good, easy to use, no complaints about it. The only problem of majority of banks, now including ING, is they are taking fees for having bank acount, instead of paying people to have acounts in their bank. In future we will change that and ceartinly i am looknig for a new, better and efficient bank. With best regards.

Pro: The app is very modern, so fast, and the cards work nice also with G.pay. PSD2 auth. with fingerprint on the same app . Cons: Actual account value after every transaction is not shown until two days after the transaction is booked: annoying ! The push notification for every transaction doesn't show any details about the merchant or thr amount. would be nice to add an immediately charge(add money) feature for the account, even for low fees. More modern features are always welcome !

Not showing how much money I have in account before payment is processed? Your app is a joke. It's 2020, not 1919 - 4 months later and realtime balance still not available. update: By far the worst android app that I have in my phone. I am so happy that banks like this wont exist in 10 years.

I really love this app, but I've noticed over the last week or so that my notifications aren't coming. Have you changed something? I have checked all my settings, but notifications are definitely allowed. Otherwise 100% *** Update: Thanks for the tip, everything works perfectly now. :-)

Nice app, service and staff so far. Everything works like a charm. However, adding ads to the main page makes it look like the cheapest banking app I've actually ever seen. There's currently an option to "close" the ads, but once the app is reloaded or restarted a new set of ads is displayed. There should be a clear opt-out switch for this.

Great app, really intuitive and easy to use. However the advertisements are really annoying. I would like to be able to copy my IBAN, at the moment there is only the option to share it (it was possible in an older version). I would also like a feature to create virtual cards (so that you don't have to give your real bank details when buying online).

The app is rather good. It supports a fingerprint sensor; it shows nearby cache machines. One can use it to confirm transactions in the online banking instead of a paper with codes. Push notifications work fine. What bugs me is a modal loading screen which appears during certain operations. Overall, the app does its job very well. Still, giving it only three starts as it shows too many ads.

Constantly getting better but there are still things which annoy me. 1. The constant advertisements that load every time on the main menu. Improvement suggestions: a tab for advertisements for additional services so that if somebody is actually interested in these things, they see all of the ads in one place. 2. Digital banks have separate "Saving Vaults" where a person can continue to contribute money to reach a particular goal. I find this function really great...ING needs this too!

As apps go it's fairly mediocre. One inconvenience I noticed when I switched was that ING does not support instant transfers. But the biggest issue is that there is no option for English. ING has a separate app for each country it's used in and some of those apps use English as the medium, it's not that hard guys. Bring it to the German app!!

overall the app is nice. one main issue is that every now and then locking the screen doesn't work properly. so when the app was running in background and I bring it back I can still see my account balance, which is not desired. The step towards mobile tan is very convenient but from a technological point of view completely insecure.

I am unable to use the fingerprint sensor for the login. I searched for a while around in the settings and all that but still unable to find it. I have a Samsung S8 and the android version should be more than meeting the requisite minimum version. Edit: I finally found it. Had to muck around a bit more to find it in the settings.

In general it's a very good app and easy to use. Didn't face any problems yet (been using it for 2 months). For improvement: 1.Would love the ability to create custom categories for classifying the type of a transaction. 2. Everything to be done in app 3. In some transactions I can't see the IBAN of the other party. 4. Ability to store contacts with their IBAN.

App seems to be poorly developed:it is not very responsive and shows stability problems. From time to time I have to kill it to get it working again. Regarding usability: it is annoying to have to enter the PIN so often. Having to enter it twice within 10s does not add any security I think. Apart from those issues the app works fine.

I only use it for TAN generation and re this aspect it is very much less convenient than mobile TAN. 1) Very slow in generation and transmission of TAN. Took 10 mins yesterday to sell a stock (which was dropping fast, so this cost me a lot of money). 2) Also I miss the option of using one TAN to validate all actions in one session (that was available with mobile TAN).

It improved a lot over the years. The one big annoyance remaining is the unnecessary double authentication when you want to okay a transaction and you have to log in one to the app then immediately again when confirming. Other than that, nice app. Very clear design, and they got rid of all the ads. 👍

Generally fine. There are some bugs for instance you can't use limit prices if you want to sell stock on your phone. It is also quite annoying that you have to use the app for your online banking on your computer. I understand that you need to confirm financial transaction but 4 codes just to see my accounts including a confirmation on this app is just bizarre. In general, the comdirect app feels a little bit smoother.

Everytime I pay at the market, the amount is shown as booked (Vorgemerkt) but not subtracted from the balance. THIS IS SO CONFUSING. It shows that I have 100 euros for example, I go to shopping and try to pay, not enough money :( I don't want to subtract booked transactions myself and calculate my balance every day. Please add a feature to show(optional maybe) the real amount, the amount that booked transactions are subtracted. And please add English as language. The Dutch app is way better 😔

Overall not bad, but it's very important to see the current balance. Pre-authorized amounts are not counted in total. It makes you feel that the money is there, but it is actually not. Some transactions also show the payment processor name, not the actual merchant name, so you have to guess what the payment was (also makes it impossible to assign a category to such transactions).
