Just coming back to the game. New features are easy to understand, and add a lot. Only drawback, as before: you can find yourself in a rather over-competitive, toxic community. The developpers fight that as much as they can. Now, hey, its a very competitive, territorial game, so... Then you can also make great friends in the opposite faction (I went to a Blue-Green wedding, even). But, sure, it's augmented reality, so there's the "reality" part. Much more than just a game :)

Ingress prime is a one of a kind game that's come a long way since it's initial launch and review-bombing. The rules and objective are simple and easy to pick up but there's a near infinite possibility to the gameplay. I've made many good friends through ingress and it's gotten me to visit/travel to places I would never have otherwise. Today I go on a pretty hike through the snow to capture a strategic portal, thank you ingress

Wow. I logged on for the first time in a while and this is completely terrible. Menus are clunky and hard to get around. Symbols are overdone and not intuitive. The old one was quick and that's what you needed when you were trying to charge a portal or take down a field. This is just...bad. Very bad. Looks pretty on the outside but when you actually use it... it's not useable.

It's a good idea however the app definitely needs some work. There are barely any in app descriptions of items and explanations. Once you put down a portal mod, you can't switch it out, even if it's yours. Same for links however you can upgrade resonators. There seems to be no reason for this other than they couldn't be bothered to add it and so removing items from a portal becomes a complicated and expensive fiasco relying on turning your portal to the other team and then destroying bits.

Fun to play capture the flag with geocache sites but at the same time it also requires a lot of work on behalf of the player to upkeep thier captured portals. Some of the players are creepy and I found someone dropped an in-game portal key outside my house when I was out for a short, 15 minute walk. You might end up with stalkers from playing the game.

UI is slow to refresh, especially compared to the old client. There are too many buttons and layers to navigate for simple tasks and delayed reaponses, i.e. reso deploy, take down completion indicator due to lag.

If you're a rural small town player who isn't willing to drive upwards of 1 to 4 hours to take down control fields and set up links and your own control fields, continue searching for another game. The leveling system after level 8 revolves around medal tiers to gain levels, a fun but challenging game.

Pretty rare for a game to still be engaging for new players to pick up so long after release. Love that I can pick up and play on a road trip, and there's no requirement to grind everyday in between trips.

Ingress Prime is heavy on useless graphics and light on playability. Game lag has become unbearable because of all the graphics. Also the navigation boxes on the screen need an on/off switch in settings please. There are times when a large part of the play area on the screen is blocked by them. I still love the game, but the User Interface needs help

Over the past year or so I've tried to get really into ingress and get friends into it as well. I'm almost to level 10 now. My main gripe with the game is 2 fold. Trying to get newer players or pogo players into it because of how little there is to do early on. In certain areas like mine alot of players are stuck under massive fields limiting their ability to level up without my help. Id love to see ingress incorporate a team go rocket like experience for ingress. More daily play ops.

Ingress is a fantastic game, I will undoubtedly continue play it daily. But the customer support is terrible. I'm paying the optional monthly subscription. It seems that the regular small monthly events always have issues, this is now a common occurrence. When contacting support about issues, you only get copy paste responses, it seems they don't even read your message the answers I get aren't even relevent to my complaint. Niantic as a company have awful communication & awful customer support.

I have enjoyed ingress since 2014, and plan on continuing to support Niantic's flagship game. This game is ultimately for all types, casuals and competitive players. There still is a particularly strong community built around ingress that can make current pandemic situations a bit easier to bear. Eats phone battery. Noticed significant framerate drops when looking at store items in the inventory; frames immediately hike right back up when moving to "boosts" from "store."

Doesn't work properly anymore, does NOT run well, too laggy, and freezes way too much. Developers STOP adding features to the game. The more you add, the more glitchy the UI becomes. I only have a problem with the inventory menu, everytime I check my inventory the game shuts down. Please simplify the menu, it is to complex, to many moving 3d objects, phones processors can't keep up. But I guess the devs don't care cause they make millions from players that pay.

It's really fascinating how they constantly manage to fix one bug while introducing three new ones. Prime exists for more than a year now and it is still so, so bad! If they hired UX and QA folks, I might change my vote because the game idea and the original client are awesome.

As a new player, it is incomprehensible, the tutorial explained nothing and the interface is laid out like a dog's breakfast. I play other niantic games and expected better. Have uninstalled the game.

Ok. Please move Portal history button to middle of the menu screen, not on the main game screen! Kinetic Capsules do not complete, and portal scanning says the lighting is inaquedate even when pointed at the sun.

Not easy to see, fonts too small, too much art and doesn't run well on S9, old ver much better. 3/21 Getting much better. With updates.

I've been playing Ingress for over 9 years. It continues to be fun and challenging. The Prime upgrade took some relearning, but everything eorks well now.

This app is interesting, I have been playing for few days. I wish it was more intritricate meaning, its not just major buildings. Would love to be able to take command over my local super market and stuff, wish they would intergrate more features! Games good as is if able to walk/travel a lot. Drone should have higher vision?

BEWARE! This game is very addictive! Its hard to say, but I'm not able to play it anymore - new version is completely illegible. Please, give us REDACTED version back!
