I would give a higher rating but I have one large issue. my results are very consistent. ive been working out everyday for 50 days and the scale accurately shows change. The problem is that it does not record accurately. For example if body fat % was 30%, it would show that result on the dashboard but then under trends it will display it as a random number like 19% or the next weigh in it will say 38% etc. If this issue gets resolved I will up my rating to 5 stars easily
It's nice to have the app connect to the scale but its extra features need work. For example the BMI calculator may give you your BMI, but it doesn't represent correctly on the BMI Diagram. MORE importantly, the tracker part of the app doesnt always record after you've stepped off of the scale. This can be frustrating as this is the main reason for the app. But overall, the idea is great and hopefully some fixes will come out in the future.
Connected to my phone straight away and is easy to use. The UI needs work though - the weight goal is set in 0.5kg increments and makes you swipe repeatedly to set your target. There's no option to set a body fat % goal, which is much more important to me. It's also inconsistent. Clicking on my BMI in the dashboard shows me where I am in the Normal > Obese scale. None of the other metrics do that. You have to view those scales in the info tab but then can't see your own measurements.
A great app to accompany a great scale. The user interface is clean, informative, and intuitive. You can sync your data with Fitbit and Google Fit. The latest update has improved graphs. The developers are amazing: after a bug report, they posted a fixed version of the app within a few hours! I hope a future version of the app will let us sync data with Samsung Health.
The app works great with the scale. If you have multiple users on separate phones be careful not to have your app on when another user is taking their measurements. You can delete their data if needed, but it is a bit of a pain. The trends data view is OK, but could be better. I would rate five stars if there were a way to export your trend data to .csv.
Innotech has created a really modern but easy to use app. I really thought that because I am a bit older than the age group who use apps, that I would have a difficult time catching on. I was able to download the app to my phone and connect it to my device quickly after creating my account, everything was so easy and had step by step information. I am very impressed with the clear information given, makes me feel like I am in style and up to date with todays technology Ha.
Functionally the scale is good however, you gotta make it so when you view the trends you can condense the stats so they appear all on one screen. It's ridiculous and so not motivating to only be able to view a few weeks or days at a time. Gotta fix this view setting or have options for 3 month view, 6 months, 1 year, etc.
I really love the app and the display, it's amazing! But two things: I really wish the info tab gave range info for things other than water %, visceral fat, body fat, and BMI. I wish it included protein, muscle mass, etc. Second issue: my app stopped working 3 days in. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and now it's not letting me log in; the loading wheel just spins forever. I know the issue will be fixed, but it's an inconvenience in the mean time.
EDIT: since the update the vertical scales have been much improved (thank you for listening), but the horizontal scale and scrolling still needs a bit of work. Graph scales are way too big to be useful and should ideally scale to fit the data, 0-140kg means even a 5kg weight loss is barely visible over time. Navigation is also a mess with swipes scrolling on charts and changing pages. Data seems accurate, but the app is bordering on useless. ...
I updated the app and all hell broke loose. It won't read the scale at all. I've reset the scale, uninstalled and reinstalled the app and nothing is working. I worked wonderfully prior to the upgrade! Can I revert to the old version? REVISED: The updated version works perfectly now! Thank you!
Not enough info given, and the different functions don't sync with another. Would like more information what my figures means for me with the average scale next to it, so it becomes visible where I am on the scale. Nice layout of the app, too bad the functionality is poor...
This is an amazing app with great information and an easy-to-use UI. My only disappointment is that it is not compatible with Samsung Health. I have no problem entering the numbers manually but having the automatic sync would change this from a 4 star experience to a 5.
Doesn't always connect. And what's with the .0 to 400 range on trends? I'm trying to stay motivated on my weight loss....seeing a flat line every day on the weight trends screen is not motivational. I'm done with the app and sending the scale back. Small detail? No, huge design flaw.
I really enjoy using the app and scale. The only thing that's 1 star from a perfect score would be, if the font size would be much larger in the "Trends" graph. I can barely read the numbers. *update to 5 star!!! Thank you for reading and updating my request. Great job !!!!!!
The potential of the scale looks great. However, the app is garbage! It does not allow activation on my Android system. Therefore, it renders most of the scale's functionality useless. The scale will be returned.
No clear information how to sync Fitbit. Turned on the share with Fitbit option, I see nothing on my Fitbit app that has anything to do with this scale or its reading, and no description of how to pair or make it work properly. Try to look on FAQ, but always comes up with a blank page.
The scale is good and connects just fine, but the data representation on the App, especially the trendline, needs a re-do! It needs to show the latest data and not move the view back to my first measurements. And the scaling (time wise) of the charts is not working.
I was excited when I purchased this scale since I have an older model of a scale that had some of the same features but only displays the weight. Now I have a new scale (InnoTech) and the old scale that only display how much you weigh. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, made sure the App is open while I'm weighing and still the only feature that transfers to the app is weight and a waste of money on another scale.
Very confusing user experience. It works now but it's not clear initially. The manual has a lot of English mistakes it feels like it was put in Google translate. Was able to figure it out in the end.
The money in to the water! It simply does not connect! Tried fo an hour with 3 different phones! Screen shows 'step on and of the scale' you do that and nathing changes! If you want to be smart - buy your self simple scales and you win! Stay away from innotech products!
Its okay...needs more attention to detail, spelling and other grammatical errors. Not enough information about the different measurements. I'd like to see a better layout . But the scale is pretty cool.
It works great with the primary user. Once I added another use it keeps saying that the data is out of range. My phone is right next to it. When I switch to the primary it works again.
Scales wouldn't pair with my phone initially, but I managed to download an app that fixed the problem straight away (Bluetooth Pair - BLE scanner, bluetooth connection - highly recommend it to anyone experiencing connection issues).
I just received this scale, and it won't sync to the app! I've reinstalled the app, taken the batteries out, and neither works. I'm returning this scale!
Great scale and app, however I would love to see more information on recommended ranges (protein/water intake ect) if this were added to the app I would happily up to 5 star
Love the scale. Very accurate. The phone app needs some work though. First time it recorded all my info. The next morning, nothing. Unpaired and paired. Still nothing. Uninstalled app and reinstalled app. Paired devices. Recorded nicely. Went back into the app and there was no information saved. Guess I'll just use the scale, which works wonderfully and record my info manually. Hope you guys can work out the bugs. Would really like to be able to use the app.
