Subscribed to premium option for Japanese and Chinese. Tons of lessons, with a very smooth learning curve. Very reasonable price. Stellar customer service (quick and precise answers on technicalities, feedback, words of gratitude...). The app is easy to navigate. Perfect support for self-teaching. What's not to like?

Content-wise, truly excellent. The dialogue is not full of obnoxious banter, but is friendly, and relevant. I greatly appreciate transcripts and precise levels (upper beginner, lower intermediate). Clearly made by professionals in language education. On the technical front, the app has crashed twice, though. Still quite happy with it though.

Thoroughly enjoying using the app to relearn French. It so easy to fit my studying into my day. Whenever I have a few minutes free, I simply access the various resources it offers to improve my language skills. It's so much easier working towards my goal this way, rather than having to try to find great chunks of time. The lessons are fun, enjoyable and useful too. I did a lot of research on various online language courses before making my choice and none of the others could match this one.

I am using Chinese pod and Japanese pod, both Beginner 2. They are very good if you have a base in each language. The voices are pleasant, good and clear. All the listings for practice and review are good. The tests and quizzes are good. My only problem at this time is not being able to bring up the text book on my cell Phone screen which is helpful in Hanzi and Kanji.

Great app and it's thorough. The only major complaint I have is the constant advertising for upgrading to a higher subscription. I have the paid level I want. Let me repeat that. I have paid for the product. Instead, when you send the word of the day you bundle ads with it. It needs re-design for us who already pay you to use it. For that reason I'm rating this 4 stars instead of 5. I don't want to see another ad.

First I will say language learning programs are a personal thing. This program works for me, and I like it. The pricing is fair and I never had an issue with it. The only issue I had was with the constant, and l mean constant, hard sell to buy more and upgrade. You are put on a subscription, which I have cancelled. The hard sell has stopped. So I will raise them from 1 star to 4.

First Review (2019) I've been using this for 2 years now x it's absolutely brilliant. Had a problem with streaming the lessons for quite a while, but that was fixed with an update. Very happy and would recommend it for language learning. Outstanding customer support! Update Feb 2022. I'm still using this and they are just as brilliant as ever! I had to ask for help with some issues about the app and one of my accounts and the customer service is still super helpful and they got back to me really quickly. I would definitely say that this is one of the best learning languages apps ever and superb value for money.

Content thorough, app not greatest, teachers great aspect. The content is almost too much, in that it's structure is almost lost. The app can't use the flashcards, basically just acts as a client to the website. The teachers are great!

I love learning French. I find the amount of communication and lessons overwhelming. I dont know where to start first. Trying to do all of the suggested words, lessons, etc. is too much to learn with not enough time to repeat which as your tips suggest is the best way to learn.

I am learning Dutch with this App and I think it is a very good way of learning. You can download all the lessons if you want, and choose between video or audio content. I am pretty happy with this app and I really recommend it to anyone learning a new language.

Very great language learning website. I recently began learning Japanese on it and the way it is structured makes it really easy to understand. This app allows you to continue learning on the go. Highly recommended.

It is a very nice app for absolute beginners. The advantage of this application is that it has 3" video, written descrption with Germany trnslated to English and multiple choice questions with answers for self assessment. It is also possible to use everywhere during travelling to💚❤💛

I really appreciate the app, and the website. Like any language learning app/course, it's really about how the user is taking advantage of the tool. And this tool is really good. The banter during lessons can be a bit corny, but that is my personal opinion. After trying different apps, this one is the one working for me.

A lot of good content. The 5 short questions might be a little bit more complex. I'm trying the plus subscription and the teacher experience is asking and returning corrections. Ask a lot to see the benefits.

I don't have too much experience with the app thus far,but what I can say is thanks for putting in so much effort into this app where we can learn the language properly. Especially for Japanese language I find this app more useful then others , and I just want to say thank you so much for making premium $1.00 temporary I know I can learn a lot in this time and when I'm done with college after 3 months I'll continue using this app until I master Japanese 😁😅.

Love it. Love the teachers. Love the setup. It is perfect for learning the language you picked. It is extremely well put together, and you can tell that the teachers are invested in this work. I want to give it five stars. But not having the flashcard function is crucial ): otherwise, it's simple and effective and not much I would change about the app. Allows me to easily complete lessons and learn on the go. Thank you :)

I love learning Japanese in this app. I kind of mastered Hiragana in almost a week of free trial. Idk what I'll get after the free trial, hopefully those lessons with videos are still accessible as I'm mainly aiming for them. Haven't reached Katakana yet. ありがとう ございます。 (I don't know if I'm doing it right. New to the Japanese keyboard in Kana.)

I find it hard to follow the method for learning. The review of learning is what i have issues with. The flash cards timings don't make sense to me yet. No speaking opeither. Maybe there's a better way to use the app.

An amazing app so easy to use and one of the only ones with thai on. It has been a week and a half and I know all the basics and am learning to write. No adds also and dosent pressure you to pay to upgrade.

Extremely good and easy to use! amazing audios and lessons, lessons notes ahhhh I just love it!! I highly recommend it for Korean learners 🙆‍♀️ thank you for making this app BUT BUT there are assessments after 3 lessons in that there is a hand-graded assessment I went to the website it says there is no access for me to this assessment. Why so ?? I even reported this problem.... I didn't get any answer or reply PLEASE solve my problem otherwise everything is good!

This is an excellent app to learn European languages. It has different levels. Even after seven days free trial, there are ton of ways to learn a language in the app. It can be used to master any European language present in it.

I'm thoroughly enjoying using this app. The audio lessons are great and the other materials back them up really well. Lots of ways to learn on the go and keep it fun.

If you want to learn a language and you're serious about it then this is where I found a lot of resources and structured courses with various ways for reviewing learnt vocabulary and great insights to the culture that the language originates from.
