Now we invite our readers to experience the INQUIRER in a whole new light with this new version of our smartphone app.
All the features you like (bookmarking, caching, the QR code reader) are still part of the app but we’ve added an Upvote feature.
Tell our Guyito mascot which stories are 'Pang Inquirer headline 'yan' and our editors will take note of that when preparing the next day’s paper and tablet editions.
We also want to get stories from you. Use MY STORY to send a report or any tale you want to share with us but which would rather not send over social media.
Most of all, we maintain journalistic integrity and provide you with breaking news straight to your mobile.

As a mother, this app helps me so much to be updated on what is happening. I didn't have time to check the news on TV and so having a convinient app like this lets me read news about our country and abroad. It's is also easy to us the app even I am not that literate to this advance technology. The colors and design of the interface is also helpful and creative.
The application is excellent. Only the title is displayed to keep the density manageable and provide a variety of topics to browse. They can improve the headline's background, as some of them are pixelated.
This was supposed to be the best news app until recently that all news article can only be read in half and if you want to continue reading, you should click on a link to be routed to their website. What's the use of the app if all articles can be read in the website. Whoever made the idea should be fired. Plain stupidity at its finest. Uninstalling.
i just downloaded the latest version of this app this January 2019 but since yesterday, it keeps on crashing. I'm sure it's not my internet connection the same thing happened when I was on data or connected via stable wifi. :-(
As of this time, after updating, EXITS AFTER READING AN ARTICLE. I've sent feedback twice already. I've uninstalled and reinstall the app, still the same. PLEASE FIX IT. So annoying. Thank you.
I left messages and also emailed the developers directly but still no one has the courtesy of providing even an acknowledgement that they received my messages. Creating apps is more than just that. You'll have to engage with your users. But thanks anyway. Because of your inaction, I discovered the GMA News app. It's got what I want in a news app.
New update 29 Jan 2021 for "compatibility with Android security requirements" means that I can no longer launch this app. App needs to be tapped twice to launch then get message "app keeps stopping". Worked ok before update (albeit kept stopping at random times)
So far, it's good. I just wish that the related articles will open on the app itself, not externally on my browser. I just feel that the purpose of the app diminishes if it's just going to send me to my browser to read.
It's simple to use nd navigate. It is very informative, and you can read a variety of artcles that tackle different issues.
a very nice everyday morning read.... just one observation though.... can you avoid putting news heading /caption written in WHITE on top of news photos as background... this results in low contrast... more so if the photo background has light colors almost rendering some of the letters difficult to read... just my observation... thank you
Nice app, keeps u updated. Hope to have updated this with a voice reader included so u can still hear the news even your in a noisy place while commuting or when there's loud music. Tnx
It'll suddenly exit the app without notice, it stops my momentum on browsing interesting news. All in all, i liked it. Please fix the bug.
Installing Inquirer Mobile was a great decision and it works really well in Android phones. I am using it for months now and I am satisfied with how I get in touch with the current events in the most convenient way. This app has it all.
Second time I tried to open the app. Second time I have to wait for the app to load. Also got the message below: "Connection timeout reached..." Sorry but I think this job still has a long way to go. I am uninstalling the app....
App keeps crashing. Please fix. Just did 29 Jan update and app crashes and will not open. Can't read one article. Pls fix as I love your app. Thanks in advance.
poor app. unreliable. when you click a news topic the content is different. happens a lot of times. i will uninstall.
It's good that this app had tutorial before anything else. Also, I think this app will make my life easier to see news from Philippine Daily Inquirer. It comes in an easy to read, fully shareable ePaper format built perfectly for tablet reading.
App no longer crashes after latest update BUT the latest update is terrible as it longer lists the Breaking News and you can bo longer scroll down to see what news you might have missed. Since no longer crashes I will rate it with 2 stars
It is easy to use reading the latest happenings in the country. I won't have a difficult time search on the internet because this app is efficient. Thanks.
Bookmarks don't work. Pls put a feature that can actually save articles for offline reading AND categorize them.
nice app, B.U.T. I CANT OPEN IT. ALWAYS CRASHES, and it stopped uploading news since february 3, 2019. i keep on seeing the same old articles. Oh, its june 26 btw.
Once I skip the tutorial, the app always crashes. Tried reinstalling but still got the same issue. Please fix :(
The mobile interface doesn't seem to fit my android phone. The text overlaps making it hard to read.

Unstable app. Crashes all the time with a lot of ads. Not recommended.

App crashed while scrolling. I wish there will be crossword puzzles and comics just like in a regular newspaper.
When I first installed the app it was already quite buggy, some pages not loading properly or not loading at all, but as time goes on the bug seems to just keep getting worse. I wanted to rate this app higher as I love the information and updates I get, but with the current state that it's on I simply can't bring myself to do so. I hope these issues will be resolve soon though.
