Since the switch to Fiserv the ability to transfer to an internal acct by using acct# was lost....Fiserv has the capability and it Needs to be implemented in the app. This is an important part of my transactions.
App was saying I didn't have an Onternet connection when I really did and everything else worked- but that was my first problem of the sort with this app. So I'm glad it's working again!
Unusable. Keeps spitting out a generic "you aren't connected to a network message" even though I am connected to the internet.
It's easy to use for the most part. Makes depositing checks very easy.
Really dislike the new version. Bill pay functionality is completely missing, even though it is shown in the screenshots. I have very limited access to a desktop in order to set up the bill pay transactions. This feature is an absolute must have for me to process my payments each month. I do not see where to download the statements. Frequently locks up and doesn't function. Loses my authentication during a session when navigating between pages and forces me to log in again.
The issues with the app not opening or displaying info seem to have been fixed. The functions the app has have been solid for a month or so now. I like that it shows all of the accounts I have, including ones where I am a certified, but not primary, user of the account. I can do internal transfers and mobile deposit checks with ease. However, I am still anxiously awaiting the return of the bill pay functionality that the old app had. This is just very bare bones.
This used to be pretty good but then the bank switch "core" groups or something and all the good went away. If all you want is to check your balance and maybe transfer from account to account this app will mostly work for you. You may have trouble starting the app and it'll tell you to call 3-4 times but eventually it'll open an you can do just that. However if you want notifications about credits or deductions it no longer does that. In fact the only notifications are app updates, not useful.
Hate the change, can't always log into my app or the website. Tells me can't verify my credentials. Also have had problems transferring funds and can not set up people so I can transfer money to someone else. Like the other version much better. The alerts do not tell you where the transaction occurred or for how much like the old system did. Overall disappointed with the change.
Does not work. I have installed a few times but the curser just spins and gives me an error when I try to log in. I called insight the lady was rude and basically told me there was nothing wrong with the app and that my phone was the issue. Kinda funny when it worked just fine prior to the update. Im over the non functional app and poor customer service at this cu. Ive been with them for years but seriously considering making a change.
The new app works well. It's user interface is good and you can zip around the app quickly. However, I do not see an option to change things such as your address, phone number or email address within the app. Very frustrating and an inconvenience if you need to change anything of that sort. If they can include this in the app it's a 5 star rating for me.
Its great...WHEN IT WORKS! Old app worked great. This one...not so much. About 90% if the time when I open it, all the buttons are greyed out and I'm unable to log in either fully or with quick balance. I find myself using the web site on my phone browser most times because the app isn't worth my time.
Unable to access bill pay on this update. Lost the ability to transfer to someone elses account as well. This is how child expenses were moved around between me and my ex... Would deposit directly into bank accounts. Now have to do the old fashioned way with checks that i dont own. Very upset. The ONLY function with this new app is to view your balances and transfer funds within your own accounts. Total waste.
Absolutely terrible app. Before the conversion, everything was great. But now it's like we went back in time 10 years. Previous app before conversion allowed you to click on a transactions to view details, and take screenshots for records, but this app says due to security, screenshots cant be taken This app crashes CONSTANTLY. Just terrible
Very easy to transfer money and to use to check balances...
The app's design and functionality seems to be the work of some third grader's science fair project. It just provides basic info and internal transfers. Other services present on previous apps are not to be found here. I fail to see how this migration was an improvement for your account holders, unless regression was the original intent...
Doesnt work anymore. As soon as the app opens message "Error occured. Please call for assistance" when I call they dont understand the issue. We've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. And changing password. App still doesn't work. So its useless!
There is a lot of functionality that is not accessible through this app. i.e. can't view transaction history beyond current history, can't manage card, can't transfer from any other accounts to an IRA/Roth IRA and etc. Basically the only function that this app may be good for is, instant balance view and making regular transfers!
Update on S21 Ultra, app won't load anymore. Can't login anymore. Super frustrating. Happened a month or a little more ago. Automatic click programs or whatever which I've never had an issue with the fingerprint login. Ugh.
Opened an account, and was forced to have a secondary account where they took $5- from my main account to open 2nd account. I used it as my personal account. All of a sudden, I am being billed a $5- fee, for having this account I never asked for. Need to find another bank soon, as this one seems to be fee hungry, as well as deceiving.
This app forgets my password literally every time it updates. That mean I have to change my account password because my biometric doesn't work. Also my opinion of insight isn't that great just because the auto loan i got with them was such a pain in the but to complete. 5/10 last resort recomenation
Never liked Insight app. For years, had problems with remote deposits not accepting pic of checks. Now, I'm not able to open app bc it crashes. Uninstalled and reinstalled; still same problem. Tried installing on another phone and app is not compatible. NOT sure why they cannot get it right. FRUSTRATING... waste an hour trying to get it to work (either app crashes or retaking pics of checks) and end up driving to bank anyways to make deposit. Save the hour and just drive to bank.
It doesn't show what the current balance was after each transaction while viewing an account. It also doesn't show a current balance for your credit card anywhere. You cannot see checks even though it says you can't. It is a little better than the previous version.
App constantly crashing recently. It was okay for a while though the camera function for check deposits was never good. But lately i can't even get it to load. Crashes. Uninstall and reinstall doesn't fix. Now i have to actually drive to bank to make a check deposit. Sigh.
Cant use fingerprint to log in but the option is on the screen and if i accidentally hit it i get locked out of the app and have to call in to reset my password. I get zero details about transactions other than the date and the amount. Zero functionality. Quick view balance is basically the only use for this app
There is always something wrong with this app. Lately I can't deposit checks when I take a pic of the back of it never goes through it just lags and the flashlight stays on. I've tried everything to fix it so it's not my phone. Very frustrating.
This app would not allow me to pay my bills if I checked on my accounts first. Then a couple days ago it just stopped working. I have uninstalled and re-installed a couple of times. Will not work at all. Aggravating to say the least. And when I called they weren't real helpful.
App in general is clunky. Depositing checks never works and has been an ongoing issue through multiple android updates and individual app updates. I can deposit checks just fine with at least 5 other banking apps and do so regularly. The picture taking integration is garbage and almost never works or takes tons of tries. It crashes, freezes, errors out, etc. And has only gotten worse. Have to use wives or coworkers iphones to deposit checks. You should be embarrassed about publishing this.
Absolute garbage. Doesn't allow you to view pending transactions or give you balance totals. It only shows deposits and withdrawals, no ongoing line by line balance. I shouldn't need to have a calculator with me just to make sense of my checking account.
I still cannot get to the logging screen and this has been going on since late last year. The last update on this app was around Nov 2020. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. I have cleared my cache and cookies many times. I reinstalled from my laptop several times. This app was working well prior to the last part of 2020. What is the problem?
I have been with Insight Financial for more than two decades, since they were BelTel! It saddens me to say this but this Insight mobile app is awful. It runs slow, takes very long to load sometimes, and is unable alot. Sorry Insight Financial but PLEASE make the necessary changes to make the mobile app better. However on a much better note, the customer service at the branches are phenomenal, and for that service, I do give without a doubt five stars .....here it is ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!
