App is clunky. There is no verification that my order was submitted. The tracker doesn't work. I never get an ETA and never know when my order will show up.
Whenever all these updates happened, literally everything plummeted off a cliff to being absolutely terrible. The website is a dumpster fire, the app is just as bad (if not worse), therefore creating the worst ordering experience I've encountered when trying to order food from virtually any restaurant. Please, for the love of God, fix this utterly atrocious UI to something actually navigable.
The app used to just have some minor UI problems but now it's just terrible. It doesn't even send my information to my local store. I mean basic information that is in the app. Often times I'd get delivery driver that say my name wasn't with the order or I'd get a call asking for my apartment number. Recently I almost didn't get my order at all now my number apartment number or name didn't get sent to the store. I hope this issue is fixed soon.
New UI is nice but the text fields don't keep what I type. Can't provide instructions to driver. Didn't have this issue with the old version. (Upon looking at new reviews, yikes.)
First off, the cookies are great! The low score is for the app specifically. The app and site mostly functions fine, but the Loyalty rewards are poorly designed. it seems that you are unable to accrue rewards if you pay ahead online because they don't automatically accrue to the account. you have to have it manually scanned in store BEFORE you pay.
The checkout system gets confused when applying coupons. It checks the post coupon total price in relation to the coupon requirements so it will result in an error. I tried using that 25% off coupon with the requirement that the order is $20+ the net price resulted in an order that was less than 20, which then proceeded to tell me that I couldn't check out since the order was less than $20. Both website and app are like this.
It is a decent app and I get cookies often. It has a few issues that are annoying. The biggest one for me is that I have to log back in every once in a while because the app logs me out. The cookie tracker also frequently pops up with an error message. Edit: the app will not let me use my gift card. A "gift card not found" message pops up. I checked the balance and it still has money on it. Not sure what the problem is.
Ordering on this app is terrible. Every time I clicked on a new section, the information I already put down would get deleted. I spend 10 minutes just trying to reenter my information multiple times. I do not see how this passed any QA.
Keeps deleting order and not checking out correctly. Has messed up a few orders. I love Insomnia, but this is beyond frustrating.
The application is very linear, and it remembers information. I think everything about the application is amazing, but the cookie tracker should use a better GPS system. Also some options should be brought back such as alternative ice creams, and maybe more deals for application orders. The usability is great, but the tracker bugs out sometimes rather than showing a pin for where someone is.
i like the cookies, but the app is either program purposely to go against their own emails or just no one bothered to correct it. I ordered 25$ overall for delivery, not including tax and delivery fee. when I applied the coupon I then had to pay the total at 23$, but when I tried to click checkout, it would not go through because of my coupon. It was not enough to deliver, as it was only 19.61$. The emailed coupon said applicable to orders more than 20$.
The app is not what it was the last time I used it! It took me 20 min just to place an order instead of the 3-4 min it used to. I'm trying to get points and it won't let me do anything. I was about to just delete it and not order from here anymore. Plz fix it. I'll just go to Tiffs
Whatever you did to the app you screwed it up. App is now very difficult to navigate. I spent 20 mins trying to place an order until I just said screw it and pulled out my laptop to order online. The app is terrible.
Absolutely busted. Sent my order without a name and the wrong phone number. Didnt accept my special instructions so I wasnt able to tell them I'm hard of hearing and the phone calls were very frustrating
This app is glitchy and does not work. I placed an order and even though I have an account with my phone number on it, when I sent my phone number did not go to the store so they weren't going to deliver my order. I had to call and find out they weren't going to deliver.
App resets payment information while typing in other info. Other information (such as delivery directions and address) will reset when you are typing in payment information. If you somehow get through that, the moment you press "Place Order", your order info will entirely reset and the order won't go through.
generally good to get in a quick order, but with some minor quirks: difficult to scroll through the cookie list without changing selections inadvertently, doesn't save my default address and its guess of where I am is often wrong. Probably only a matter of time before I send a late night cookie order to a neighbor.
Hard to use app with a Samsung Galaxy S10. After putting in address and selecting/finding nearest store, there is a swipe banner at the bottom of screen that covers buttons that would allow ordering. Only option is to swipe unordered to reorder prior order. I have to go into a computer to order anything new. App only allows for reordering of prior order.
Ordered for Valentine's and had my delivery person bring half the order, have to go back, and still didn't bring the right items. App makes giving feedback very difficult, you can't copy and paste info from the app onto your phone but you need the 10 digit order number to send feedback. All around disappointing experience.
I love Insomnia cookies. However, the newest version of the app is the absolute worst!!!! When I was trying to choose payment information it wouldn't let me choose one, it automatically chose both I had in the system. No matter what I tried it wouldn't let me choose just one. So I had to add another payment just to finish up my order. Ended up having to call the store, and they said they got an order, but no name was attached.
